While the IAR configuration of the AMRS-01 provides a good amount firepower Noah found that it just didn't provide enough to be the end all for the elite unit Noah planned on building. It was with this in mind that he began design on a belt-fed machine to provide the extra firepower. As with all of the weapons he designed Noah first chose the cartridge that it would use and for this he felt like his only real choice was the 8.58x69mm cartridge. While typically a sniper cartridge he picked the 8.58x69mm cartridge for its high degree of stopping power and anti-materiel qualities.
With the basics of the design aspects down and the cartridge picked Noah began his usual step of choosing the materials to use in the weapons construction. The almost obligatory Titanium-Alusteel alloy that Hekler'Kok has become known for was used in the upper and lower receiver as well as all the internal mechanisms. The barrel was made of Dallorian Alloy, specifically chosen for its natural resistance to heat. The barrel was then lined with Chromium to prevent wear and tear on it. The grip and handguard were made of Plastoid to keep them light without sacrificing durability and lastly the entire weapon was plated in CeramiCoat to prevent as much external damage as possible.
Finally came the feature choosing portion of the design process. The staple ambidextrous controls included with all Hekler'Kok weapons were added. A textured pistol grip gives user a better handle on the weapon. A recoil buffer system, taken from an AR-01 and modified, helps mitigate as much recoil as possible. A threaded heavy quick change barrel was added to allow the attachment of muzzle devices, reduce vertical recoil and swapping of barrels to prevent overheating, respectively. A full system of rails were added, an optic rail for mounting well optics, accessory rails on both sides of the weapon for mounting things like flashlights and laser sights and a grip rail for foregrips. Lastly an integrated bipod for more stable firing and a carrying handle to make transport easier.
