Maëlys Amnen inherited this company from her father who inherited from his and so on back for multiple generations. There are a large number of minor shareholders and outside companies with minor stakes such as the muunilist branch of the IGBC who typically use their share as part of their wider liquidity fund. Maëlys controls the company from a legal standpoint and her PhD in geology makes her a knowledgeable leader but the board are granted a high measure of power within the company in order to prevent lack of free thinking.
