If one was looking for criminals or bounty-hunters, Tatooine was as good as a place as any to start. It was a world that was ruled by Hutts, a planet of dust and deceit on the edge of civilized space. Even after all of this time, ever since the Clone Wars, Tatooine had remained a hive of villainy, greed, and malice. Being so far from a governmental body led to the Hutts ruling over Tatooine and many other outlying worlds. Once, the infamous crime lord, Jabba, had called this place home. Now, he was gone, though the remnants of his criminal sanctuary still remained, centuries after his death. Tatooine would always remain a breeding ground for crime and malice, it was so far out of the reach of others. Tatooine would always remain a haven for crime, for bounty hunters, for crime lords, and for smugglers. Save if they didn't have a bounty on their head.

Ajiid had come here, to this place, to Tatooine...specifically for Koda Fett. He had lounged about crime-ridden worlds before, though he hardly ever dwelt in Tatooine for long. He was afraid that he would get shived one day, or would piss off a local crime lord...and get a hefty bounty on his head. None of that had happened as of yet, though Ajiid contributed that to his very infrequent and almost nonexistent visits to the dust-bowl which was Tatooine. He wasn't a fan of the place and he didn't particularly like it. However, if he had to admit one thing, it was a good place to find work. High-paying work at that. On previous missions and bounties he had undertaken, they were only a few thousand or ten thousand in rare cases. Though, this 'Koda Fett' individual, the price on his head was through the roof. A price of one million credits, the very idea of which made Ajiid smile with gleeful greed and joy. After months of taking low-paying jobs, he would finally have a shot at the big leagues.

However, Koda was no pushover. Their was a reason he had the reputation as 'the Best,' in the galaxy. Ajiid didn't underestimate Koda one bit, in fact he did look up to the bounty-hunter. Which was why, if he could, he would try to take in the man alive. Otherwise, if he did somehow kill the infamous bounty hunter Koda Fett, he would have a number of bounties placed on his head. Bounties...which would leave him on the run or dead.

"So, you're sure he's going to be here, Kantu?" The impatient voice of Ajiid questioned the brunette mirilian who sat across from him. He was nervous and slightly anxious for what was going to happen, though he tried to calm himself down. If his body showed to much anxiety and impatience, then this Koda fella, if he walked by, would know that Ajiid was hunting him down. His helmet lied close to Ajiid, on the table between the two males. He opted not to wear it as the HUD could identify the wrong target. That, and he enjoyed the feeling of the heat of the two suns falling onto his slightly tanned face. Ajiid's right hand remained hidden under the table, clasped around his WESTAR-34 Pistol, his thumb resting on the safety. "I don't want to just wait here all day, only to learn he won't show up here, Kantu."

Across from Ajiid, sat Kantu, a middle-aged and grim looking Mirilian. Kantu's hands were clasped in one another as his light blue eyes scanned over Ajiid's face. "Trust me, Ajiih, he'll be here. If my contacts are correct, which they usually are...then he should show up here today to look for some work to do," Kantu spoke back quickly as he stared straight forwards at Ajiid's bare face. At the words 'usually are,' the eyes of Ajiid widened and the corners of his lips curved downwards in annoyance. "So you're telling me, that they don't always succeed? I need to know if he's going to show up here, I can't have half-baked-karking answers, Kantu," Ajiid's words left his mouth in utter annoyance and anger at hearing Kantu's words. He couldn't risk messing this up, this was one of his few chances to be a 'hot-shot.' For all he knew, another hunter could be tailing Koda...on Skye of all places. He wasn't willing to trust Kantu's informants as he usually did today. Instead of sounding off at Ajiid, Kantu replied to his friend calmly. "Trust me...Koda will be here."

TATOOINE
MOS EISLEY SPACEPORT
Fett. It was a name that gripped the Galactic Underworld by storm, enforcing an image of a T-Visor wearing Mandalorian that was as heartless as they came. There was no doubt Koda Fett was the best Bounty Hunter in the Galaxy, much in the way his template Jango Fett, and his genetic identical Boba Fett was all those years ago. It was the name of a Mandalorian Clan, yes, and so it shouldn't come to any surprise that there was more than one Fett who happened to be a Bounty Hunter that roamed the Galaxy. An imposter? Unlikely, simply a run of bad luck that they shared similarities. Whether Ajiid had been hired more than once in Koda's place was unknown to him, and his existence wasn't either. Although, that was soon to change.

The Spear II, a Firespray - of course, had touched down within Mos Eisley Spaceport. It's mechanical components shifting to make a landing in it's 'sitting' position rather than it's 'standing', as it had been called before. The engines came to a halt, their thrumming had ceased. Fett's ramp had lowered with a hiss, and a blowout of steam. The Mandalorian soon disembarking, striding throughout the Spaceport. His Carbine slung over his shoulder, always within reach. There wasn't much to the enigma that was Koda Fett in this moment, he appeared as a simple man making his way in the universe.

There were more than a few reasons to stop by on Tatooine, too. Repairs were required for the Spear II, the obvious damage in the hull was all too telling. Hutts owed Fett, or at least they wanted him to owe them, and so it was an easy favour to obtain a free fix-up. In the meantime? There were people to see, to hunt, to gain payment from. It was the beginning of a longer day, likely to descend into the cold night of the desert planet.

The finger's of Ajiid's left hand drummed softly against the sandstone-concrete table he sat at. The tune was one he had heard a few times when he had spent long night's talking in cantinas. He hadn't a name for the cantina music he drummed, he didn't even know if it held any sort of name. It was a repetitive tune, a tune that didn't evoke emotion, but a tune that spoke through the gentle rhythm it set throughout the air. One. Two. Three. Four. Pause. Repeat. It was simple, just like Ajiid's ambition had been previously. Before any of this, before his eyes had fallen upon Koda Fett's name in the bounty holo-board, before he had seen the one million credits. Before all of that, he was a simple bounty hunter, taking easy and low-paying jons. He hadn't wanted to risk anything back in those days, just a mere three weeks ago.

He was risking it all now, all in hopes it would work out. Ajiid didn't call himself a betting man, ever. He didn't gamble often, he didn't take many risks. Though, this hunt...would change that. Hopefully, he prayed, for the better.

Kantu's face brightened suddenly, his fingers quickly being brought to his left ear. The mirialan was getting something, a message of some sort. And it must have been a frantic one that he had been awaiting, what with the expression he had expressed so suddenly out of the thin dusty air. Within a minute, the mirilian brought his hand away from his ear, now snapping his fingers once to get the attention of Ajiid. "Ajiid, one of my men reported in that their is a Firespray here, as you very well know...Koda pilots a Firespray, owns one in fact. It's his trademark vehicle, I believe," the voice of Kantu came from his lips softly and quickly, not wanting to be overheard from anyone nearby. Even though they wouldn't be. Their table was across from the spaceport, as soon as one left it, outside a cantina...with buzzing people walking about and talking aloud. Thus was the reason Ajiid didn't understand why Kantu was whispering, their wasn't any worry for them being overheard. Though, he understood his motivation to do so. After he heard the words of Kantu, Ajiid's attention redirected onto Kantu, his fingers ceasing their drumming. "Alright. However, a multitude of bounty hunters pilot Firespray's. Maybe not all of them, though a good handful do. Even if your informant is correct, which he might not be, we won't know till he comes out of that spaceport. Keep your eyes peeled for a...figure in green mandalorian armor, coming out of those doors over there. Don't make it obvious Kantu."

After Ajiid had talked to Kantu, he rearranged his helmet to where the T-visor pointed towards the doors leading out of the spaceport. After doing so, Kantu spoke up again. "Sure, but their is more than one exit to that spaceport. He could come out of any." Ajiid mulled this idea over for a minute, Kantu certainly had a very good point. He hesitated slightly, before speaking up to Kantu's comment. "Even if he does...we can wait here all day, or go up to the Hutt's palace."

TATOOINE
MOS EISLEY SPACEPORT
The Spaceport was filled to the brim, intergalactic citizens of all species, genders, age and such roamed with freedom on the crime ridden dust-ball that was Tatooine. It was a refuge for any and all that sought the protection that a lawless land provided, and not even the Confederacy was able to quell the desperado resembling lifestyle of those that dwelled within the Outer-Rim. There were more than enough individuals with a price on their head in this spaceport alone to earn a generous fee, retire for months on end, only to rejoin the constant pursuit of greatness once every credit you earned had found itself down a metaphorical pit in the vision of a new, custom starship, or set of armour, maybe enough alcohol to last one a year. Perhaps one was more interest in the company of women, or men. Fett didn't judge, he didn't care.

Koda had become more wary of armed individuals on planets such as this, even in the wider-galaxy. He had never been a fool, always cautious, verging on paranoid. It paid to be, really. Lest he find himself with a searing hole in his own chest. He held no resentment for those that came after Fett, for it was just their job to do so. Just as he would to them; it was only ever business. To be the one to take down Koda Fett may rise one's reputation, in turn their fees, employment consistency and so forth. Possibly taking the mantle for themselves, and that prospect was enough to let everyone and their mother to take arms against Fett. If they were brave enough, of course.

Fett, eventually, emerged from the spaceport. Shifting through the crowd, near unimpeded by those that attempted to get out of his way. This was Tatooine, and everyone knew the bounty hunter here. Suppose he had a watchful eye to protect him in dire situations, to call for support when the need was required: the CIS had employed Fett for multiple jobs, a valuable asset to their operations. When their operations needed more deniability, that was.

Almost in sync, Ajiid and Kantu both saw a flash of green armor walk through the crowd. However, they had been far away and moving among the crowd. It was impossible to tell whether this individual was in fact Koda Fett. Though, if it was...then Ajiid needed to act fast and silently. He knew he couldn't take the man down in this crowded of an area, their were too many people. With with their being too many people, someone who was not a target was likely to die. It wasn't something Ajiid needed on his conscience. With the prospect of an unintended person dying, Ajiid could have a bounty on his head as well. You never knew when a stray blaster bolt would strike co-owner of a wealthy enterprise, killing him and then putting a hefty bounty on your head.

Ajiid was taking a massive risk with this job, and he didn't intend to screw it up. If a bounty was placed on his head as a result of this hunt...well, he wasn't sure what he would do if that happened.

"Did you see that, the flash of green armor," Kantu's voice came out quickly and shakily as he spoke, he hadn't actually believed that this would happen. Ajiid nodded in silence as his eyes tried to follow the path of this green-armored individual, though they disappeared into the crowd soon afterwards. He then spoke to Kantu, without taking his eyes off of the crowd. "Yeah, saw him. But, any number of people here could have green armor. Hell, we don't even know if it's mandalorian armor," Ajiid spoke softly, not out of fear, but apprehension. For all he knew that was Koda, the Koda Fett. The man who he was hunting down. He hesitated slightly, unsure of how his next train of thought would do, before speaking to Kantu once more. "Uh...you, you stay here, Kantu. I'm gonna trail him, see where he's going and try to find out who he is. Alert me if you see Kantu here, but only if you know, without a doubt, it's him." With that, Ajiid stood up, pulling his T-visor helmet over his head, the helmet's HUD illuminating his face as all systems turned on and performed quick background checks on his armor. His right hand then quickly holstered his WESTAR-34 pistol, pulling out his G-9 pistol in it's place. It was a stun gun, one that would hopefully get through Koda's armor if that was him. He kept his gun hand close to his side and out of his sight as he made his way through the crowd, forcing himself to look forwards as his helmet scanned for signs of mandalorian armor exclusively in a 360 degree area.

TATOOINE
MOS EISLEY
Mos Eisley was the cess-pit. It was for that reason, above all else, that Fett remained more cautious here than anywhere else, not even Mandalore. It housed too much scum, too much villainy, and with that price on his head extending into seven-digits? There were many more individuals gunning for his helmeted head, not only was there a reputation to gain anymore. Added incentive, if you will. The thought of such a thing only evoked the question of who was willing to pay that much for Fett's death, his armour too. There were a great many he had wronged in his life, and he was certainly guilty for more than one death-deserving monstrosity. Had he pushed someone too far, had an organisation had enough, or was it something else entirely? Koda hadn't known, and whether or not he ever will was questionable.

The Mandalorian continued to traverse the dense crowd, his form colliding with several species of aliens, some he wasn't even capable of identifying, nor did he entirely care to. They were gone the second he passed them. It was for that reason, really, that he despised the crowded areas. It was too easy for any stranger to get up close, do their damage without being seen, and then leave into the crowd itself. You can be sure that's the reason Fett diverted, heading into the alleyway he had typically taken.

His booted feet shifted through the sand, the Carbine remaining over his shoulder, as the two pistols favoured by his template reside in the holsters on his hip. He was a veritable one-man army, and he had the firepower to support such a theory. His scanners were much more capable hear, and sneaking up on a cautious man in an alley with such equipment wasn't an easy task.

Ajiid followed slowly behind Koda as he made his way through the crowd, being careful not to blatantly follow the man who he assumed could be Koda. For all he knew, this man could be Koda...and he could know that Ajiid was following him. Which could put all of his plans into jeopardy. He kept his G-9 blaster close to his body, his thumb resting right atop of the safety, ready to disengage once he got close enough to the man. He couldn't help but smile under his helmet as he got closer to the presumed Koda as he made his way through the crowd. Things seemed to be going quite in his favor, for now that is at least. The man was certainty wearing green mandalorian armor, which was a clear sign it was Koda...or at least a very good sign that the man could possibly be Koda.

Ajiid then slowed to a halt as he saw the mandalorian armored man disappear down an alleyway. This, wasn't part of the plan at all. An alleyway could be a good way to take out Koda, though it could gather needless attention. That, and it was too small of a space. If things went south quickly, their wasn't much area for Ajiid to get out quickly with his jetpack. Ajiid cursed under his breath at this new development, quickly activating his comn link to Kantu. "Kantu, I've got him...or at least a very look-alike copy of him, with his trademark green mandalorian armor. However, he disappeared down an alleyway," Ajiid spoke quickly and quietly, eagerly awaiting his friend's response to this newest development. It took a few minutes, though eventually Kantu replied to Ajiid's concern, with a slight shake in his voice. "Chit! Okay, uh... walk around the area an-" Ajiid cut him off quickly, he had a better idea. After a few minutes of waiting for Koda to leave the immediate vicinity, Ajiid activated his jetpack and flew up to a nearby roof which overlooked the area. He touched down on the roof softly, holstering his G-9 and pulling the A280 from his back before pulling out a barrel and scope configuration from his pack. He quickly and precisely equipped the attachments, re-configuring the rifle into a sniper. Ajiid breath in deeply, and then out. In. Out. Then he looked through the sight of his sniper, watching for any sight of green mandalorian armor.

MOS EISLEY
The Bounty Hunter continued through the alley. It wasn't entirely open, intact rather closed in. His armour rustled, scrapped against itself at the points where it could as he descended a smaller flight of stairs. It was strewn with items Fett had no use for. These were homes, establishments, that he walked by; evident due to the belongings on the outside, and he simply knew where he was, too. It was empty, fortunately for Ajiid. There were no civilians interrupted the soon to be fight between Bounty Hunter and Bounty Hunter, armour that's awfully similar to one another's, if not identical bar a few scratches, scuffs, scorches and dents, that is. Koda's armour could tell more stories, more tales, more rumours and myths than he ever could about himself. He simply wasn't a very talkative man, it allowed you to remain a mystery when you didn't run your mouth.

It was calm, soothing behind the helmet. His temperature kept comfortable, the inner-workings of his suit capable of doing that, just as Ajiid's would be too. His expression was blank, unthinking, concealed. The inner-workings of his mind, though, never strayed from concentration. If he were to attack someone it'd be an alley such as this, no? Minimal targets, attack from above, leave little room to escape an unleash an overwhelming amount of firepower. He could say this, of course, with a degree experience in the field of attacking from an unsuspected position. Mandalorians prided their honour, but Fett was a Bounty Hunter before he was a Mandalorian, and even then he wasn't much of a Mandalorian these days, anyhow.

Eventually, of course, Koda was bound to pass through Ajiid's line of sight. His scanners weren't able to pick him up from the considerable distance, in fairness. Yet, he kept an eye peeled, his ears opened, and his body ready to spring into action. It always was, really.

Ajiid laid himself down prone on the flat rooftop which overlooked a large area below. The scratched metal of his A280 laid in his hand, one hand on the barrel to help offer support and stability, while the other clasped around his trigger. A soft, almost non-existent click was given off from the sniper as he disengaged the safety, fully allowing him to fire without any hindrances. Now, he was in the waiting game as he slowly scanned down a open alley way a good amount of yards in front of him. It was empty of civilians, perfect! Ajiid couldn't help but smile behind his T-visor helmet at seeing this, nobody was there to interrupt their soon to be engagement with each other. No needless casualties. However, this waiting game...was another story in all it's entirety. A story from which the text was tiny, and the pages were long. This could take hours, minutes...or even mere seconds just to catch a glimpse of Koda. Something, which Ajiid was going to do to get that one million credits.

One eye closed, and the other remained open as he looked through the digital, electrical scope on his sniper rifle. Occasionally, he would switch the amount the scope was zoomed in to get either finer details or a wider berth from which he could see the open alleyway. Ajiid pressed his face closer to his scope, causing the thick metal stock of his rifle to dig into his armored shoulder, pinching his skin some through the openings. It wasn't much of a bother. Sure, it did hurt his skin some...though it wouldn't break his skin and cause him to draw blood accidentally from himself. Hell, if it did, he didn't care either way. Ajiid was focused solely on Koda, and Koda alone. Though, that damn comn kept glowing on his HUD interface, saying that Kantu was trying to contact him. In annoyance, Ajiid turned of his comn fully, for the moment. He needed to focus on his target and...

Their he was, walking down the alleyway. Ajiid clicked the configuration on his scope till it zoomed in as far as possible, perfect. He waited, and then waited as Koda slowly made his way through the alleyway. From this distance, however, Ajiid only had a few of the man from his shoulders up. He wouldn't be able to go for the knees to easily take Koda out, sadly...much to Ajiid's displeasure. It was how he often dispatched of bounty targets, it was a quick and efficient way to do so and wasted little ammo on Ajiid's part. Sadly, that wouldn't work here.

Ajiid brought the sniper rifle up some from the ground as his finger curled around the metal trigger of his rifle, looking through his scope at the helmet of Koda. And then...he fired, the metallic boom of the laser shot blasting through the air as he delivered off one shot, and then another in quick succession encase he missed his first shot.

Fett spent the majority of his life within the occupation of an army that no longer existed, lost to time but not to memory. He despised it, a slave is how he was to describe himself, especially to their cause as he was surrounded by those that obeyed. Yet, if there was anything that the Bounty Hunter could be grateful for, it was his creation, and the process of it. Koda Fett, once ARC-4422, was an Advanced Recon Commando. That breed of special forces was known to have a reaction speed that rivalled that of a lower-levelled force user, an innate gift if nothing else. It was for that reason alone that the instant the bolt had been fired, begun to soar through the air, that the hairs on the back of Fett's neck had risen. There wasn't anybody within sight, nor upon his scanners. Fett launched himself into a roll, pressing his body against that of the door, concealed by the archway just before it. At least to the naked eye, that is.

The Bounty Hunter immediately enabled a scanning pulse, and everything within his general area had become outlined with a digitalised, orange hue. If Ajiid was nearby, he was to be seen. Fett had taken hold of the Carbine over his shoulder, allowing it fall into his palms, gripped tightly with tenacity. A scowl formed beneath his helmet, despising the fact he hadn't a clue as to where it came from.

A security blade was grasped at with his left hand, the ambidextrous Mandalorian maintaining his grip on the Carbine. The device slid into the door's controls, opening it with a hiss, and so Fett disappeared inside as the door closed behind him. Scanning pulses activated all the while.

Ajiid had to come to him now, and whether or not someone was inside, Koda hadn't known. At least not yet.

Once the two shots has been fired off, Ajiid waited. He scanned the alleyway through his scope, trying to look for a sign of Koda. However, Koda had completely disappeared. At least, that's what it looked like. Ajiid would have been overjoyed at the prospect, thinking that he had actually killed Koda. He knew better though. A man with the reputation of Koda Fett, wouldn't have died to two shots from a sniper. Hell, he had mandalorian armor on, armor specifically made with beskar...a nigh impenetrable armor to laser fire. Though, the idea that he had actually killed Koda still lingered at the back of Ajiid's mind. But he needed to see the body first of all before he got to excited. His hand fell from the barrel, moving to the scope and replacing it with that of a holographic scope instead. He also replaced the barrel with that of the assault-rifle configuration, rolling it a few times clockwise till he heard three clicks signaling it had been attached. Skimming his fingers across the side of his rifle, he initiated semi-fire mode instead of the automatic auto-fire mode. He didn't want to waste needless tibanna gas cartridges, and automatic weapons tended to be inaccurate.

Ajiid stood up slow, his eyes gazing towards the alleyway as his HUD lit up with irrelevant and useless information about the alleyway and his environment. He then initiated his jetpack, the sound of fire and fuel burning hitting the air as he flew through the air, stopping in the middle of the alleyway. Their was no body, but their were two impact holes in the sandstone walls of a building that Koda has been in front of. Activating his scanner, his HUD scanned his immediate surroundings, looking for Koda. Any minute, it would get Koda..hopefully...

The Bounty Hunter was no coward. He didn't run, he didn't hide, he didn't surrender. He'd rather die than do any of those, and what good was he dead to anyone? None. Fett was in wait for one reason or another; Ajiid was soon to find out, though. His armoured figure continued to scan the area around him, observing everything in and out of sight. The sound of a jetpack soaring over head was all too familiar, and his eyes beneath the T-Visor followed the orange and digitalised outline of the man in Mandalorian Armour. Maybe it was the Mandalorian Empire? They offered 'Cin Vhetin' to any wayward son or daughter of Mandalore, but Fett caused enough trouble to warrant himself a death mark. The Exiles? It could of been. Mardos wanted Fett dead more than anyone else, of that anyone who paid attention to Mandalorian affairs had known. That scowl on his concealed face hadn't budged.

It was the sound of booted feet amongst the sand that caught his attention next, but it wasn't long before Fett acted. His wrist had been aimed in the direction of the doorway ahead of him, and one was let loose. The door was blown from it's position, soaring out into the street as a missile had struck the roof above him. A hole formed, one that Koda soared through. It was his plan that the door exploding into his opposition's direction that would ensnare his attention, leaving the Bounty Hunter able to catch him by surprise.

As he was in the air Fett had only rained a barrage of bolts down upon Ajiid, his hands both falling back onto his Carbine, of course.

The nearest missile had rocked Ajiid's body as it had exploded against the sandstone wall to his left...making his body vibrate out of shock as the missile blew up the sandstone wall, sending chunks of sandstone brick into every direction along with sending up plumes of sand and dust. He dropped his left hand from the barrel of his rifle, bringing it up to shield the visor of his helmet. Being blinded from sand was an embarrassing way to go, even if the sand was on your helmet's visor. The gloved fingers of his right hand clasped tightly around the handle of his rifle, his index finger resting in the crook of the trigger. Being caught off guard like this, was disastrous for his plan to capture Koda. He knew that Koda would retaliate in some way against him, though Ajiid had not gone through the effort of coming up with any countermeasures for retaliation...even though he had known their was a high likelihood that it would happen. He hope...in the least, that this wouldn't negatively impact his chance at capturing Koda.

The tuned audio receptors of his mandalorian helmet picked up something and relaid the sound to his ears. It was a jetpack. Hm, trying to get a height advantage over me. Smart bastard. Even with the warning of Koda flying upwards, Ajiid couldn't do much as his body recovered from the sudden shock of the explosion. As he tried to gain his wits around his environment, he heard something. Gunfire...or missiles, whatever it was...it was heading straight towards him. Ajiid threw his body forwards to get out of the way of the rain of fire coming down on his position. However, his reaction speed had been too slow. That damn missile had muted his senses temporarily, thus he reacted much slower than usual.

A stinging sensation erupted from Ajiid's side as he threw himself out of the way of gunfire. His left hand flew to his side, his right side...looking for the source of pain. He felt around until he felt a piece of metal sticking into his side, shrapnel...because of course that's what it was. It looked as though that was his only injury, much to his surprise and discontent. Surprise because he thought he would have been more injured. Discontent because it was shrapnel. Under normal circumstance he would leave it in to avoid a constant blood-flow, though keeping it in would prove undeniably stupid for combat. Taking in a deep breath, his left hand clasped around the end of the shrapnel as he pulled it from his side. Ajiid bit his bottom lip down hard in pain, almost drawing blood as he slowly pulled the shrapnel from his sideOne end was covered in blood as it fell to the ground, though it had not struck deep. His side now was spider-webbed in pain, though he didn't have anything to properly cauterize the wound...however it was small, shouldn't be much of an issue...hopefully.

With the rifle still in hand and warm blood trinkiling down his right side, Ajiid clasped the barrel of his rifle in his left hand to steady it as he aimed towards Koda. Then he fires eight shots in quick succession towards Koda...hoping to at least damage the jetpack. After all, the dust had hopefully clouded his movements.

TATOOINE
MOS EISLEY
Many have tried; many have failed. Add another corpse to the pile. It was the goal, after all.

It was from behind the T-Visor that the Mandalorian retained his laser precision upon his attacker. Flames, indifferent to the blazing sun of Tatooine, continued to spit with a violent roar at the base of his jetpack. The side-cloak attached to his shoulder flailed aimlessly in the wind at his side, and his armoured figure glistened form the sunlight. It was, however, in this act that his Blaster Carbine had been held as if it were a side-arm, raining down a hailstorm of blaster bolts throughout Ajiid's efforts to remove shrapnel from his person. Such a thing wasn't intended, but a fortunate miscalculation, if nothing else. It was only ever intended to be a distraction, truly.

Fett retained his vertical advantage, unwilling to relinquish himself of it. Perhaps his armoured figure had eclipsed the sun from Ajiid's perspective, but with the speed he was moving it would only ever last for the briefest of moments. The dust was prevalent, but it was easy to detect someone with the technology that Mandalorian Armour possessed. As his rounds were to pierce the dust, Ajiid's were to do the same. One, two. They collided with his breastplate, leaving scorch marks in their wake as Fett gritted his teeth beneath his helmet, thrown ever-so-slightly off course due to the kinetic impact.

In the final movement of reaching the other side of that alleyway had Koda's free arm become extended, another missile armed and ready to fire. Which, of course, is what happened. Overwhelming firepower was a trait that Mandalorians had, and he was sure to make full use of it, even if against another Mandalorian. To what extent he was, though, hardly mattered. Koda was hardly a Mandalorian these days, to be quite honest.
