DESCRIPTION
Much of the history of the amulet remains a mystery as Umai unfolds more and more about her mother's past. What is almost certain is that the amulet was made by Umai's mother and due to unknown circumstances ended up in the possession of a night sister who sought her powers.
The tooth is that of the incredibly dangerous beast native to Dathomir - the Dathomiri rock dragon. To slay one speaks highly of the mother's capabilities in the Force and perhaps hints at her skills in intricate natures such as the imbuement of items with Dathomiri Magick.
As mentioned earlier, the amulet substantially amplifies ones abilities to Animal Bonding while also passively protecting the wearer from attacks from the wildlife wherever they are as long as it is worn. If it is not worn, the amulet remains 'inactive', thus undetectable through the Force and is merely a decoration.
Additionally, the amulet is a piece of the puzzle Umai's mother has left behind for her to solve.
