Hey folks! The Levantines are having our very first Adventure Dominion! ![Big Grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
"But Seroth, what the hell is an Adventure Dominion??"
It's a venture that tries to tackle the idea of a Board Dominion without resorting to the norm: bustling military episodes where things blow up, bodies counts are astronomical, and local government is robbed of the ability to self-determine its own course. An Adventure Dominion is more akin to a Faction Thread, save for the Tag. This is our maiden trial to see how well we can fair giving this a go.
The Adventure Dominion is here: Indigo Smoke
And from here are several story scenarios that we and others came up with to help give writers an imaginative boost:
~The Felucian Issue
-Portions of the anochronistic Felucian tribes-people are facing losses of autonomy as local corporations buy out 'unclaimed' tracts of land for industrial development, such as lumber-stripping. The Felucians lack "proper" legal means to reclaim or defend their centuries old living grounds. Sparks of protest are beginning to issue from local University bodies as their plight is recognized.
~Student Revolution
-Radical degrees of political and cultural thought are making waves in the planetary student body. Enough to upset the political scene, as a marked rise in civil disobedience, urban crime, and sabotage begin to flourish and destabalize Sucellus' long built peace. Passion is blinding most to the reality of what's ultimately outmoded and oppressive.
~The Indigo Bridge
-Local healthcare officials and physicans are baffled. And panicking. While Sucellus isn't blind nor deaf to the issues of illegal narcotics, a new product hitting at certain circles in Secondary Schools and the Military Barracks is proving an addictive epidemic. They call it the Indigo Bridge, with effects ranging from mild highs to hallucinogenic episodes, from which it's name draws. Neural damage inculcates an early stage of dependency, leading to behavioral degredation, aggression, and ultimately death. Authorities are at a loss of how to stem its trade, or provide treatment.
Note: You are not limited to these outlines. These are just a few ideas. If you want to go ahead, wrangle some friends together for another tale, go right ahead!
Just please note. We prefer an avoidance of unneccessary body counts, collateral damage, and government sabotage. This isn't a takeover. If you have any questions, please PM me. Or, if you have questions pertaining to Sucellus itself, you can PM @Judah Dashiell for clarification.
