An Alliance with the Order of the Silver Jedi?

Greetings and well met, my fellow Levantines!​

Today I was approached by a friend of mine going by the name of Jedi Master [member="Iella E'ron"]. As some of you may already know, she is largely responsible behind the formation of a minor faction called the 'Order of the Silver Jedi'.​

​

She spoke of hopes of friendship between our two factions; a mutually beneficial alliance, as she put it. The Silver Jedi have cast off their Republic ties, and strive to remain neutral to any and all governmental and political bodies in the galaxy. She feels, as I do, that a partnership between our peoples will only bring more prosperity to both sides. She is a good friend of mine and I trust her completely to follow through should we accept their offer.​

What do YOU think about this turn of events? Do we keep to ourselves as we have thus far, or do we accept this olive branch from a group of individuals who are not so different from ourselves? Let us know your thoughts down below.​

The Levantine Sanctum grew up from a smaller collection, the Silent Conclave. The Silver Order reminds me quite a lot of those old days. I figure this: two mutually secretive organizations can perhaps help one another, if only helping keep each other 'off the grid' as it were. It might not hurt to accept the out-reach.

I know a number of writers in the Silver Jedi. Solid folk, probably just looking to do something besides those Republic warmongers(Wow, I think my redhaired character came through right there, apologies ). I personally have no objections. The goals are similar. They are a small group and we both could probably benefit from shared RPs.

Just for the record, I'd rather not have anything to do with the Silver Jedi. I will respectfully and tactfully decline to RP with them unless its completely unavoidable as a member of this faction.

You're not under any obligation to interact in any manner outside of your comfort zone. No one has to fear getting roped into something they don't like. We can always accommodate.

Looks overall positive so far!

I've spoken to Iella, and she's just as excited as I am. Once this alliance is a fact, we'll have an open thread set up in which all Levantines and Silver Jedi may meet and socialise, should they wish to. Alternatively, have a private thread with the leaders of respective faction meet and discuss things face-to-face.

Welp, it's more or less official: the Levantines and the Silver Jedi are now allies.

I've already taken the liberty to act as an IC link between the two factions, as well as OOC. We'll begin an IC thread sometime this next week to make it truly official.
