[SIZE=9pt] Upon emptying the chalice completely of any liquid, the drinker shall experience the sensation of being pricked by tiny needles through the palm or palms of the hands which hold it. For a few moments, timed to the beating of the heart, the chalice shall began to fill with the user’s own blood until ¾’s full - up until that moment, the drinker shall be unable to remove his hand or hands [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]by any means[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]. Upon reaching ¾’s full, the sensation will cease and the drinker may place the cup anywhere they please… being careful to not spill their own blood. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt] Wearing gloves or hand-coverings of any kind will not delay the effect. The user shall experience no pain, but will lose an amount of blood equal to that of about 1 pint. The draining effect shall last for no more than 45 seconds to 1 minute. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt] Once the first part of the ritual is complete, one may drink their blood at any time. Doing so provides a number of benefits: [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt] The effects shall not last longer than a number of hours equal to the total amount of blood in the drinker’s body as measured by the Chalice (On average 5 - 7 hours, but no greater than 12).
