An Apple a Day (Dante)

Leg_wheel.jpg
The Wheel. An interesting place to stop on your way back from a little off-world adventure. It was one of the biggest space stations in the system, able to house a lot. It had a history as big and long as it's own shape. Funny thing though is that just because it looked so grand on the outside didn't mean it was exactly the same on the inside. Like anywhere people would be it had it's good parts and its bad parts. One such bad part was one of the self-established Cantinas where a brawl or two would tend to start. Thankfully it wasn't too far from one of the med-bays but that didn't mean the injuries wouldn't be server at times.
In fact one such brawl had managed to break out this day. Why? No one really knows. All different manner of stories were coming from the witnesses. Some said it involved a chiss an trandoshian from rival gangs starting a fight over money. Others said one of the customers got rough with a dancer. Some stories went so far as to say a Jedi was involved, or that a droid pretending to be a Hutt was the cause. All too dysfunctional to truly get a straight answer. Not that it would matter to the people in ed-bay anyways. They would have their hands full with all those injured in the melee.
One such subject was a green haired woman wearing, oddly enough, an elaborate maid uniform. Apparently out of everyone else having black eyes, cuts, bruises and the like, this girl only suffered a minor head injury that knocked her out cold. She was wheeled in along with everyone else by a few nurses, who would inform her doctor or any of the medical droids what happened. Likely not a severe enough case to warrant a lot of attention.
[member="Dante"]

A slow day, one which allowed the ability to wake without the need of an alarm or a medical alert, this was something that Dante wished for on the daily but unfortunately, not a day has come that allowed him the comfort of his own bed for extra minutes of warmth. On such a day the doctor was at least looked kindly upon by the directer in-charge for the day and was granted the lighter load of the injuries, as such [member="Yura Fontaine"]'s minor head injury was given to his care.

Once the young lady was in a closed of room, he was able to take a seat and let out a soft sigh, it would seem that the day has gotten to him but still had the enthusiasm to assist the injured upon the station itself. He would motion to the table for the lady to hop up onto, it would be a hard foamed surface with a sharp white cover over the top.

"So, you got a right knock on the head, name please."

His tone would be as gentle as one could be when asking for information from a patient, he would of sat up whilst speaking and pull out paperwork from the draw. It would be strange, usually doctors or any personnel used the data-pads for storing information but it would seem this doctor happily took out a pencil and paper form.

It was hard for Yura to answer, given how dizzy she still was from the knock to the head. She seemed to waver a little as he told her to hop up onto the table. When she tried to speak she gave a mumbling "Don't want anymore cakes.... I think the pools too full now..." Eventually she wound up collapsing onto the table with her legs hanging onto the side. Apparently the bump to the head wasn't as minor as people thought it was.
[member="Dante"]

A minor head wound they said, simple patient they said and suddenly, she collapsed onto the table. Quickly Dante would jump from his chair and stride over to her, immediately going to her nose and mouse, checking to make sure that she is breathing. Assuming that she is indeed still breathing easily, he would go to move her body slowly into a position that would assist in-case of anything that may occur. Simply he would move her leg slowly into a ninety degree angle, same with her arm and slowly move [member="Yura Fontaine"] onto her side so that her airways were open, simply just in-case.

"Okay then, why is the pretty ones that get knocked out."

His tone would be light, acknowledging himself that the patient was knocked out and assuming unable to hear him, once he was sure she was fine on her side he immediately goes to his desk and pulls out a stimpak, one that was already pre-filled with a bacta that artificially induced adrenaline and has a high chance of forcing someone awake, be it recently knock out victims or people who haven't slept in a week, he knew it worked on him during days of continuous workloads.

Approaching the lady, he quickly pulls up her sleeve and wipes the skin with a disinfectant wipe before inserting the needle and pressuring the bacta into the persons body. Once done, he would take a step back and place the stimpak, with the empty bacta, on his desk and stand by the table. He would wait a moment, before attempting to waken her with the assistance of the adrenaline shot.

Yura had only gave a little fidgeting noise when the needle was poked into her arm. She didn't really like them. After that it seemed as though nothing happened for a moment. Maybe it didn't work or maybe her head injury had done more than realized. But then, a moment later, something odd happened. Everything around in the room rumbled. Tolls and desks and chairs and the table itself shook a little. As if a light tremor was passing. Only thing was they were on a space station, which meant it couldn't have been the case. Suddenly it all stopped the moment Yura sprawled up from bed and gasped loudly.
Frantically looking around she asked "Where am I now?" she saw [member="Dante"] and asked "Who are you? Never mind. You have water? I feel thirty. Maybe a soda. Something. Why does my head feel sore? Where am I again? You seem nice, what's your name again?"
Apparently the adrenaline went a little far for her, but at least she was alive.

Scratching his chin, Dante raises an eyebrow in confusion from the the room shaking but as it stopped around the time that [member="Yura Fontaine"] came to, the doctor gave a soft nod as if he put a couple things together despite having no actual evidence towards his assumption. As the lady begins to talk, and talk fast, he would begin to regret sticking her with the needle but hey, she was awake and that was his plan after the pass out.

"Calm down there hun, you are in my- Office I guess, at the station's med-bay. My name is Dante, you suffered a- Minor head wound."

His tone calm and slow, it seemed that he was trying to rub off the same idea for the young lady before turning and opening a cold cabinet, it would contain different vaccines and bact tubes, though in the back there would be some beverage cans with the writing 'Dante's property' written on the cans. He would pull two out, one juice the other soda and would hold the soda towards the woman.

Even as Yura listened to [member="Dante"] explain everything she continued to bounce a little on the table. She was like a child waiting for a present or something equally exciting. She watched as he walked over to the cabinet before her attention went to five different places. It wasn't until he came back with the soda that Yura would take it from him, give a quick thanks, and then proceed to gulp it all down. When she finished she out the can to the side before letting out a rather large belch. That seemed to be enough to calm her as she sighed and laid back on the table.
"Thank you." she said in a ore calm voice. "I didn't realize I took that hard of a hit. In fact..." she rubbed her head a little "...I don't recall too much after getting hit."

Dante would seem to simply watch [member="Yura Fontaine"] drink at the soda a moment before sipping at his own beverage, though only taking a couple sips before placing it upon his desk. The sight and sound of the young lady belching would only serve to make him smirk, even chuckling lightly at the thought as he quietly said something along the lines of 'Strange but pretty' though he wouldn't say it loud enough to interrupt her speaking.

"Yeah, it happens a lot. Lean down please."

His tone would be gentle, with a soft smile upon his lips as he indicates for her to move her head towards him.

Following his instruction Yura leaned herself down back onto the table as to stay nice and relaxed. She brought her head close to his while he examine her, only closing her eyes when he was too close or something else was too close. At the very least this doctor seemed nice, and he was helpful. But then again that's what doctors do, right?
[member="Dante"]

Dante would hold her head gently, observing the newly formed bump upon her head a moment before finishing off, he would press against it lightly which would send a slight jolt of pain running through [member="Yura Fontaine"]'s body. Leaning back to stare upon her once more he gives a soft smile.

"Sorry, you will have a bump for a while but hey, your hair covers it and people will be too distracted by those beautiful eyes of yours."

His tone, once again, gentle and with a smirk he gives a soft wink towards the lady. Turning to his desk, he finally writes down some information before stopping a moment.

"I never did get your name, miss?"

Yura only gave a little whimper when he touched the bump on her head. At least it was quick. After that she felt it too while [member="Dante"] had mentioned her hair and pretty eyes. She blushed and gave a little giggle in her throat at the compliment. When he asked she said "Oh! I'm Yura. Yura Fontaine. And thank you for the help, Dr. Dante . I really appreciate it."

Dante writes down her name with a soft nod, writing something quickly before placing the papers into a folder and into his nearby drawer, turning back to the cold cabinet and pulling out a small bottle of oddly coloured liquid. He would then turn to face, giving off a smile once more, to [member="Yura Fontaine"].

"Any time, here if you get a headache take a sip of this and it will assist, also my friends simply call me Dante."

His tone would give off a hint of exploration, he seems to be enjoying speaking with her and would place the bottle beside her before straightening his collar a moment.

"Since you are quite, injured young miss Fontaine, I must make sure that you do not further injure yourself. How about I accompany you somewhere, you must be starving."

The smile upon Dante's face wouldn't rest, his tone would be cheerful and hopeful.

Taking the bottle she thanked him before saying "Okay, [member="Dante"] ." since that was what he preferred. After that she heard him mention food, she shook her head, saying "I'm fine. I was eating before everything happened anyway. But thanks for the offer. I think I just need to relax for now." she said, lying back onto the bed/table.

Raising an eyebrow from a tad bit of confusion, Dante was taken back a moment and for the first time in a long while he didn't know how to react to the way [member="Yura Fontaine"] was acting as well as laying back on the table. Carefully, he would go to the door and carefully close the blinds from the inside, so that he may allow her peaceful rest. That was, what he wanted to give her, but why did he feel the need to go out of his way to do such a thing? This was buzzing in his mind as he simply stared towards the woman laying upon the table.

"How about I escort you to my room, it's not far from here and the bed is much softer than that table, plus I have much more soda cans that you may have."

His tone wouldn't give off that of anything other than someone who was confused by his emotions as well as genuinely caring.

Yura poked her eyes open at one point to see [member="Dante"] closing the blinds for her. That was nice of him. She smiled at how nice he was treating her, and all only because of a head injury. Something else was odd though. She could swear she sensed something of the force around this man, yet he didn't seem like a Sith nor Jedi. Odd. When he offered her the chance to rest in his room, with a more comfortable bed and more to drink, Yura nodded before picking herself up and allowing him to lead the way, giving another small thanks for his kindness.

Dante gave [member="Yura Fontaine"] a gentle smile before heading out, making sure the young lady was following close as he exited his room and the med-bay, the director in-charge would look towards him but ultimately didn't seem to care for the man's leaving with a patient. They walked slowly for a moment, it too little time to arrive at a narrow hall with a nameplate upon the side of a door which read 'Dr. Dante' and once he swiped a card, the door opened.

Allowing the beautiful young lady to enter first, Dante would follow after and show her around. It was a standard place, small living quarters which had a table for guests to sit around and join in for dinners, and such, with a door leading into a hall which had two doors, one of which lead to a bathroom and the other opened into a small bed, which was visibly soft and lush. He would immediately take the young lady to the bedding and offer it to her.

"Please feel right at home, my room is your room and all that- Stuff, I'll go get you a drink as you settle in."

His tone gentle, with a hint of nervousness. The room was simple, a bed with books littering the floor, mostly medical. A small side table which had a photo album, it was filled with pictures of his family and friends, from what he would call his 'past life' but still held onto such.

Yura followed to his room, though at first upon seeing the door she thought it was something of another office. Entering she could see it was in fact a room, though being on a station had the impression this was something of a temporary living space. She hoped at least after seeing the trash all about the place. She shook her head at how untidy he was even after she was lead to the bedding. She sat down on the side but still looked around.
"Oh dear." she finally said aloud to [member="Dante"] . "Would it be alright if I...tidy up a little? I don't think I'd be able to sleep with this mess all over the place?"

Dante would scratch the back of his neck a moment, he would stand in a bit of silence as he completely forgot how his place would look to someone as stunning as [member="Yura Fontaine"]. Stammering a little, he responds.

"Uh- Yeah, sure if you feel you want to. I- Uh- Am sorry, I tend to forget about the place as I focus more on the med-bay..."

His tone would be filled more with nervousness as well as a tad bit of panic, immediately after he would stumble towards the kitchen to obtain the cans he promised.

Without wasting time Yura began to pick everything up while trying to find the right place for it. It started with the books that she stacked together when possible before moving them to the side just co collect any other papers and the like. Once they were all out of the way and the floor was clear she started to try and put things in proper order and/or place on the shelves or with any other books that she hadn't found on the floor. She proved to be fast about it before standing and seeing how everything look far cleaner now. A satisfied look before she looked back to where [member="Dante"] had gone.

Dante would return to find his room cleaned and a satisfied [member="Yura Fontaine"] standing by the bedding. With a soft smile, he holds out a can of soda towards the young lady.

"That was quick, thank you Yura."

His tone sincere, still holding some nerves. He would crack open his can of juice, taking a sip before taking a seat upon the ground and resting his back against the wall. Dante would motion to the bed.

"There is my bed, much softer like I promised and you may use it, when ever you like."
