An Awkward Encounter

Underworld.jpg
Nar Shaddaa
The Smugglers Moon, home to the galaxies largest casinos. Nar Shaddaa attracted many types of gangsters and villains, which was why Hadzu'ska had come to the planet in search of a like-minded individual for hire. A dark hood hid the apprentice's face from view as he continued down the bright neon-lit street. Keeping his gaze strictly forward, the human strode down the narrow walkway, ignoring the suspicious looks of other pedestrians so to avoid bringing attention to himself. Nar Shaddaa was a breeding ground for dark emotions, the grief, pain and suffering of those victimised by the harsh ways of the gambling world seemed to energise Hadzu'ska, the suffering of those weaker beings strengthened his connection to the dark side. Approaching a sleazy-looking cantina, the apprentice lowered his hood, his nose wrinkled in disgust as the pungent fumes and odor's of the establishment reached his nostrils. Pausing before entering the cantina, Hadzu'ska extended his awareness towards the interior of the building, searching for any hostile beings. When he was sure that it was reasonably safe inside the bar, the Sith apprentice entered, hand resting near the hilt of his lightsaber as a precaution. Upon entering, Hadzu'ska began to scan the crowd, searching for the woman he had arranged to meet.

Feya's eyes hovered over the cantina entrance as she elegantly sipped her drink, waiting for her latest client to arrive. If it wasn't for the thick bounty hunter armor, the nabooian would have looked extremely out of place in this cheap cantina. Her soft features and regal appearance were not the stereotypical trademark of a hunter; but it just made her a bit more deadly. Pressing her powder pink lips together, she began to tap her delicate fingers impatiently on the table. She always hated working a for a Sith; they were so shady and calculating...at least the ones that hired her were. Sighing, she tried not to think about that to much. They were willing to pay a reasonable amount of credits for her service, and that was all that mattered.

Finally, after what seemed like a long time of waiting, the young man she had been waiting for strode through the door with a disgusted look plastered on his face. Great, he was one of THOSE sith. Catching his orange gaze the girl nodded at him, gently placing her glass onto the table and grabbing her helmet before walking towards him with her charming 'business' smile on her face. Flicking her chocolate brown hair of her shoulder she rested one hand on her hip, her headpiece in the other.

"Hello Lord Hadzu'ska, It is nice to finally meet you in person. Now, where shall discuss out arrangements...and payment method." She said with a sickly sweet voice, her cold eyes staring up at his face.

"AAARRRGGGGH! I AM NOT A KID YOU DUMB ASS PIECE OF STANG!" Dovinus howled as he furiously kicked a side table into the motel wall. How DARE he leave me out of OUR mission! The mirialan sneered to himself as he seethed around the room with tense muscles and a wild look on his face. He was sick of Hadzu treating him as some burden that can do nothing right. He was sick of the stupid human underestimating his abilities as a sith. Taking a few heavily breaths Dovinus roughly scratched his untamed hair with a bitter taste in his mouth. He didn't need to go out to meet some half assed gun for hire anyway, it'd just be a drag. Collapsing on the aged sofa with a grunt, something in the corner of his eyes caught his attention.

ah, a liquor cabinet.

a UNLOCKED liquor cabinet.

Raising his eyebrow at the bottles inside, a wide grin spreading across his green lips. Oh yeah, things just got better. Leaping up with a sudden burst of energy the mirialan rushed to the crate and grabbed the first bottle he could see and popped the cap and took a bit gulp. A childish giggle escaped him as the warm liquid burnt the young man's throat...enjoying the feel of it rushing down.

This one is on you, Hadzu!

and maybe the next bottle too.

Hadzu'ska hadn't been standing long before a young woman, dressed in heavily scarred armor, began to approach the young apprentice. Was this the woman he had come to meet? Her armor suggested so, but Hadzu'ska was slightly taken aback by the way she handled her herself. Her elegant posture and well-looked after, silky, chocolate hair, made Hadzu'ska begin to have his doubts to whether this woman would be able to handle the task that the Sith would be hiring her to complete. The woman was now standing in front of him, one hand supporting her armored helmet, with the other resting on her hip. "Hello Lord Hadzu'ska, It is nice to finally meet you in person. Now, where shall discuss out arrangements...and payment method." This woman had nerve to already be discussing her payment before he had even started relaying the task for her. However she had shown respect when addressing the young Sith, so Hadzu'ska chose to forgive the bounty hunter.

"I would prefer to discuss the task in a more private area, we wouldn't want anyone overhearing our conversation." he said, gazing over the crowd of shady looking folk. "I have booked a temporary residence where I can brief you further, so if you would kindly follow me." Holding out his hand towards the exit, he followed the woman out, back into the streets of the Smugglers Moon.

"You're the boss Lord Hadzu'ska." She said, before turning to the zabrak at working at the bar, blowing him a kiss. "Put my drink on the tab, Drosruk!" She said with a smile, before sliding her helmet on her head and walking out the door. With her fingers lightly brushing the blaster that hang from her belt, she followed the Sith to the place he was staying. Upon stepping out of the cantina the pair were welcomed by her favorite thing about this planet...the neon lights. Pink, green, purple, blue, they all looked like someone had managed to bend lightsabers into all sorts of shapes and letters. She smiled to herself under the cover of her visor, knowing the sith couldn't see her expression underneath it.

After a stroll in the busy Nar Shaddaa the two reached their destination; a small motel with a eerie feel to it. It had the same feeling as the buildings had after she had killed someone, cold, and slightly empty. Still tailing Hadzu'ska, she was lead into a smaller two bedroom place...that looked pretty trashed. Furniture had been thrown all over the place and pillows were littered over the ground, torn to pieces. Feya nearly tripped up on an empty bottle as she walked in. The bottle gently rolled away and hit the near by wall as she caught sight of someone she never thought she'd see again.

"Y-YOU AGAIN!" She hissed as she stormed in, her voice slightly distorted by her headgear.

Dovinus almost dropped the new bottle in his hand when he saw who Hadzu had strolled in with. That armor he'd never forgotten...he'd spend a very long time trying to get it off the body of the wearer. The mirialan's amber eyes widened dramatically as he stared at the two figures, his gaze bouncing to Hadzu, to the bounty hunter, and back again. Already having consumed a lot of drink and a lot of food, the Sith's mind was a bit hazed. Forgetting he still had liquid in his mouth Dovinus's jaw went slack and the drink came flooding out. He'd never thought he'd ever see Feya Havlock ever again after he left her sleeping in a cheap inn's king sized bed.

"Oh, STANG." He finally said after a long pregnant silence.

"So...Feya...long time know see huh? how ya' beeeeeeen...?" Dovinus managed, scraping up his best possible grin.

Approaching the door of their motel room, he opened it to allow, the bounty hunter inside. Following her inside, Hadzu'ska's mouth dropped open as he say the state of the small apartment. Furniture had been flung across the room, now in pieces. Stains lined the walls and a trail of empty bottles led up to a freezer cabinet that had been torn out of the wall. THE LIQUOR CABINET! Searching the room, his fiery eyes fell on the tattered bed, where the Mirialan apprentice sat, fumbling with the top of a bottle in his teeth, trying to pop the top off. Dovinus had stopped what he was doing as the pair entered the room, dropping the bottle as he saw who had walked in, his eyes widening. Yeah you better be afraid Dov, afraid of the beating I'm gonna give you when we finish up with the bounty hunter. However to Hadzu'ska's surprise, Dovinus was more alarmed by the presence of this Feya who they had just meet. Or had the Mirialan meet her before? "You two know each other?" Hadzu'ska asked, beginning to feel a explanation coming from his fellow apprentice.
