An Empire rising

Darth Vyrassu

Immortal Jen'ari Sith Emperor

Vyrassu sits on his throne hidden high up in his citadel watching his empire build, things were going slow but good and smooth. Vyrassu was expecting someone, a Sith, a red Twi'lek. He felt her presence as she landed on Dromund Vatsu. Her aura wrapped in dark but not to it's full potential. Something was needing to be done about this, could he have a new possible apprentice. Only time would tell.

Vyrassu closed his eyes and then sensed everything through the force, his imperial military marching, practicing their combat, preparing, getting ready for something big. He could feel the Sith Acolytes at the Sith Academy learning, studying, becoming more powerful.

Vyrassu felt the twi'lek walk through Vatsu City. Vyrassu used his powers to mentally let his imperial soldiers and guards to allow her to pass. Vyrassu waved his shadow guards meaning to let them be ready for when she enters his chambers.

Umbra hated this damn place. It was too dark, to hidden, and it was filled with decaying buildings. This was a damned place, a place without gods, a place too far from the light and consumed by shadows, she knew deep down that it was a good place for her to learn about the dark side, to become stronger than all others. But at what price?
“Even the sun doesn’t seem to shine in hear.”, the girl once known as Rhaenys, considered this a bad omen, a sign of ill things. This place was strong with the force, dark and fell, but it lacked life, at least, true life, free and wild.

After passing down the guards, Umbra, dressed in long black robes nodded towards them, entering the throne room with her blue sharp eyes set in the path ahead. She could see Vyrassu in his throne, the man probably felt that he was a god king, but in the shadows, he looked like the ones that ruled the Sith Empire. Old and dusty.
“Lord Vyrassu.”, the twi’lek said, slowly bowing towards him, waiting in silence.

Vyrassu watched as [member="Darth Umbra"] entered the chambers. She slowly approached his throne as the shadow guards closed the giant doors behind her. Vyrassu felt her life force, the darkness. But he knew what troubled her. He saw into her mind as she walked through Vatsu city. See wasn't fond of this place. She didn't like how dark it was, always raining and thunder cracking the sky. As she got closer Vyrassu examined her and found her stunningly beautiful. Such a gorgeous creature she was. And her aura, untapped power of the dark side locked away, waiting to burst out and be free. Vyrassu could do this, he could unlock her full potential, make her powerful, devastating, a nightmare for those that opposed her.

Vyrassu watched the beautiful red Twi'lek bow before his throne, her beautiful blue eyes to the ground. When she spoke, she had that voice that would make a average man fall into seduction to her. Vyrassu begin glowing red from his eminence power in the dark side. Vyrassu stood up and walked to the edge of the stage his throne was set on and spoke to her. His voice was cold, a slight rasp, heavy and dark with a slight echo.

Rise my young red twi-lek, we have much to discuss, I sensed you here, coming here. I felt your power, your presence in the dark side, it's untapped, not at it's full potential. The circle closes. Your lust for knowledge can now be achieved. But me, I am not of a normal dark side practioner you'll find elsewhere.

Black some started evolving around Vyrassu. After a moment the smoke made it so you couldn't see him anymore. Moments later the smoke cleared and Vyrassu was behind Umbra watching her.

If there was one thing the twi’lek hated, that was someone messing around inside her mind. Like Vyrassu was doing, and although she wouldn't say anything about, she sighed, calming herself down and concentrating her own mind to be cloaked with the force. Using her full concentration to conceal her own intentions inside her mind and her heart, and although she was his apprentice, the girl formerly known as Halibel, bowed to no man.

She was sent there by her former tutor, and the Duke was very clear about her job in that question. With the ice blue cold eyes focused in Vyrassu, the lethan girl nodded with her head, while the right lek in her double lekku slowly moved the tip raised up, a gesture that meant greetings.

“I’m aware of that, lord Vyrassu.”, Umbra as she was now called, answered in a calm tone with her husky voice. “But if you can teach me the ways of the dark side, then i shall prove myself a good student and a loyal apprentice.”, she was not going to bring it up the matter of the Protectorate, Umbra chose to stay quiet about this and keep her thoughts to herself, concealed in the depths of her dark mind.

Vyrassu watched her lekku move and nodded to the greeting, Vyrassu knew some lekku movements but not all. Vyrassu circled around [member="Darth Umbra"] looking her up and down. Her red skin covered in tattoos. Her attractive style of clothing. Vyrassu couldn't be seduced by such....infernal means. She could of been naked and he wouldn't of been affected. Vyrassu stopped in front of her. He looked heavily into her blue eyes studying them. He then begin to speak to her in just above a whisper.

tell me, why are you here, why did you seek me out, why do you want to learn the dark side, please tell me all.

Vyrassu turned and walked back to his throne and sat down and stared at Umbra awaiting an answer from her.

Alec stood at the door of the throne room watching as Darth Umbra conversed with Lord Vyrassu. He had taken Umbra up on her offer of transportation because of the mention of an ancient Sith stronghold, untouched by the Jedi for centuries. Now that he had arrived, it wasn't much of a sight, the place was similar to a number of Sith lairs within the depths of the New Sith Empire, the same darkness, power, and hate emanated from those who actively dabbled with the Dark Side of the Force. Although Alec was accustomed to it didn't mean that he enjoyed it, he wanted to fight, perhaps there was a First Order base on a nearby planet, after all their capital planet of Dossun was nearby. At the least an inspection of the firepower this Sith Lord and his forces had to offer would be better than the drawling conversation of teaching and learning. Alec was unoccupied to the point that he was growing hungry which would in turn make him more irritable than his normal unpleasant self.
