An interesting offer from the Mandalorian Empire.

While im in support of the following idea, earlier sent to me by the Mandalorian Empire, we are a faction as a whole and i wanted to get a guage on how you guys think about this idea. Keep in mind, the idea would not tie us to the Mandalorian Empire and as such we would not be breaking the idea of the faction, though it does require a bit of help on our part as part of the deal.

"Simple.

The Order of the Grey would be welcome to establish a temple on a single, Imperial world. They will be given free travel to/from said world and would be welcome to travel/visit any of the worlds within our borders. You would also have access to our Phrik resource on Bastion if you so required.

In exchange, I simply ask that you thread with us. Hop in our dominions, poke into our faction threads, etc. You're not to be a subfaction or subservient, but rather a welcome face within the Empire."

So, any objections or anything you guys want to clear up concerning the idea?

I don't see the harm in this, it would give us some powerful friends in the case that we were to come under fire from any particular faction, not to mention all they're asking from us is further RP in which we're going to want to partake in regardless.

It's also a rather big faction isn't it, the Mandalorian Empire...-Sounds like a lot of potential profit with little being asked of us in return.

It feels like we're breaking neutrality, but having additional temples would help (assuming we have the members). Phrik is always nice, and it's been forever since I've threaded with Isley (although not on this character). I'm just worried about Invasions. Will we be asked to assist in those? If so, how can we claim to be neutral still, unless we choose to have members fight on both sides? I think we did that in the OS/Pub fights, but if we already act in one faction, how long until we are asked to fight their battles?

I want to do it, don't get me wrong, but I am worried about the long term implications.

Ill shoot him a question about invasions, that is a valid worry. Ive always wanted the faction to be able to support who ever they want in a battle and i dont want to change that about us.

We will be able to continue our practice of fighting eachother in invasions. Just no conspiring as a whole against them, which is already in our mandates. Anyone that breaks that will be personally punished by Alexandra, and as a zorren you don't want her punishing ya.

I don't know if it's been brought up, but we are being offered access to One singular planet in exchange for access to All of ours. That hardly seems right. In any case, it seems like they are going to use our territory as a stepping stone to traverse towards their enemies beyond. It's like Russia and Poland's relationship in WWII.

Russia: you can come visit Moscow any time, but we need access to all of your airports and roadways that lead straight to Germany. And with a break on your toll roads as we have no true intention of visiting, just want to be able to walk out tanks down Main St without traffic.

Poland: No Issues here, sure. I'll even put my face down in a puddle so your boots don't get wet.

We do not own planets, we have one, and soon two temples if they let us make one. Further, we are frree to move throughout their planets anyways.

All Isley is asking is for is us to help their faction with their threads. We get story opportunities, a new temple, and, if we need it, Saber proof materials. They get help growing their faction, story opportunities, and new writers. We have nothing to loose and everything to gain.

Plus, it could darn well be a way to spite the United Mandolorian Clans.
