An Old Order, A New Confederacy (Solan)

Kesh, a planet Minna had never visited until now. It's affairs and ownership were unimportant right now in the grand schemes of the galaxy, especially when one spent the majority of their time between Republic and Sith territories. However, a pressing matter had brought her all the way out to this world in the far reaches of the map, one which she had contacted ahead about. The one thing she knew of the planet came only by chance. [member="Solan Charr"] had once tried to foil her during a bank heist on Metellos, but years had passed since then, enough time for wounds to heal. That, and there was no danger of her falling into such crimes again. Her aura now radiated with light, and she made no attempt to conceal it.

Arriving at the place she assumed Solan called home, if he had one. Minna gave a gentle knock on the door. It'd been a while since they last saw each other, and her appearance had changed rather drastically again.
"Solan, guess who." She called out, smirking slightly. No doubt he'd already picked up on her familiar signature.

He himself wasnt even inside as he heard the voice and glanced over to the side and then over the edge of the roof as he looked at the woman's face before turning his eyes back up to the sky. A flame left his mouth as he sighed though and wormed is way down till it was infront of Minna's face, showing her where he was and what was going on, which was him staring at the sky above. "You know you are knocking on the door of a palace right?" He glanced over at her once she would make her way up to where he was and then closed his eyes as he continued to speak. "Also, last time i knew you weren't you about four feet shorter or something, i could have sworn you were green too and had this annoying thought that the Sith were cool people. I must say i don't quite agree with you."

Minna's eyes were diverted from the door by an odd flame which she followed on it's path. The man she seeked lay where the fire ended, and he was speaking of their past encounter. Once she got up to him, she replied. "Thought you might have an assistant to open the door for you. Besides, the old me was a phase," A little smirk came as she stood next to Solan. "I'm here on completely different terms." Her hand reached down into her pocket, retrieving a small cigarette. "Do you mind?" She tilted the cigarette to see whether he'd object to her new addiction. If not, she would continue by lighting it with the tip of her finger, the only display of pyromancy she could manage. However, if he insisted against it, she would simply put the cigarette away.

"So, I did some digging around. Imagine the look on my face when I find out you are the owner of the Grey now. Almost couldn't believe myself. I was planning to ask Alex's permission but..." She trailed off, unsure whether to mention her death or the fact that she was actually still alive. Instead, her next sentence continued elsewhere. "So out of respect for the order of things, I was planning on reviving the Grey. But to do that, I need to be it's leader." Minna turned her head to his. "Of course, if you want something in return I'm all ears."

He glanced over again as she took out the cigarette and for a few moments his eyes traced its path and then her demonstration of the same power for which he was rather committed to. "Well ive caught myself and others on fire enough that the smell of burning flesh barely even effects me, a cigarette will not even register..." He leaned his head back again to look at the sky as he smiled a bit more. "None the less though, you really should kick that habit while you still can, i heard those things do a number on someone's lungs. I mean i would probably have damage myself if not for the fact im in a bacta tank after every fight im in."

Her reason for being here interested him far more the moment she spoke and he grinned a bit at the prospect of it all. "Considering you know my former employers name, and your hesitation you know her fate. Well, i can't say im surprised, hell she told me herself and i got the order from the Echani woman but i would think she would be a bit more... discreet when it came to the people who cut off her arms..." He grinned at her as a light in his eye told her that he knew everything about that trial, the main reason being a small AI that he now worked closely with but he also figured she knew something more, what detail it was he could not determine though. "AS for taking leadership, its all yours. I got all i needed out of its records and to be quite honest the stiff would have likely wanted you to have it anyways considering you are mentioned quite frequently in its records shortstock..."

He thought about her last words as he said that, then added it to the end. "If you are feeling up to it, and if you don't mind though, i would like to ask you something rather much. I assume you left the Jedi if you are returning to the Order of the Grey, if so great because i have something i need to request. I request you consider joining a little protection agency of mine. A confederacy of words. You and i both know that the Order's temple is on Crystalsong, unless you planned to move it. A world apart of the Confederacy and something i rather would like you to consider helping. I do not require your order join, the Aurorian Knights are already a part of our Confederacy but your skills would be much appreciated."

Minna merely shook her head at Solan, he was an odd man indeed. Placing the cigarette in her mouth, she inhaled whilst listening to him speak. She decided not to question how much he knew, it was obvious he had his own ways. Parting her mouth around the cigarette, she replied. "Well, anyone else mentioned in the records is long gone." Her mind drifted to Ferus for a second, but quickly bypassed the thought. Solan then continued to talk about a Confederacy, and having her help in. For a moment she just looked at him, pondering the thought. "Seems you have grand plans, Mister Charr. I don't mind helping out, means we get to spend more time together." The way she raised her eyebrows and turned showed she clearly had no interest in spending time with him, unless of course she had something to gain. "I could learn a thing or too while I'm here, it'd be nice to see these Aurorian Knights." An amused look on her face came as she imagined herself in politics. "Aslong as I don't have to do any diplomacy..."

He laughed the moment he saw the disdain and sarcasm in her actions at spending more time with him, the smile on his face much wider now as she acted like the mere thought of being around him was sickening. "You know, you remind me of another woman whom grew on me, two actually, though i dont think the second one would really admit it. Taeli though, she used to act the same way. I don't know if you know the woman but black hair, joined the Jedi and became a stiff. Really a shame on that regard. Being a Dark jedi is so much more fun, and less oppressive in terms of worshiping something that is no more different than you and me... as for diplomacy. I barely enjoy it myself, you can be left assured i wont force it on you."

"Taeli..." Minna nodded and exhaled a short laugh of acknowledgement. "I knew her as Darth Arcanix, my master." Calling her Taeli had still not truly become natural, but if they ever met again she was sure she'd get used to it. "I had tea with her afterwards, she's definitely different as a Jedi. It was all because of her sister though." A recurring theme, people leaving the Sith because of their loved ones. It worked out for Taeli, but not so much for herself. "Good, I'm more of a shooter than a talker. Probably why I never last long in the Jedi." She smirked, that was definitely true. "But if you need a fighter, I'm your girl." She paused for a second to look at him. "But not a girl who'll be warming up to you like you seem to think most do." Her smirk maintained. Solan wasn't too bad to be around, but definitely not someone she'd want to spend unnecessary time with.
"Anything else I should know?"

"Lets see, fridays are business casual, the kitchens inside the palace are off limits, no mass murders allowed, and please do avoid walking in Uvak droppings.... oh and watch out if you own a vehicle, Uvak Droppings are large, and they seem to like shitting on speeders." It was clear he was half joking except for the third thing, but everything he said was in the same, cheerful, tone. It was almost like he was joking about the third item too until his eyes would focus on her. It would be made clear in that moment that he was no lighter in aura than any Sith even if his morals and feelings remained intact and under control. "One last thing, the lives of innocents are to be avoided at all times, we wont have any crashing ships this time, will we?" He would wait for her answer as the words came out as a vague threat. Simply saying for her to understand that if she does anything to harm those not involved without avoiding it at all costs, he would make sure she and him finished what was started on Metellos.

Her face would return to normal as Solan locked his gaze on her. A small curl in her lip was not a smirk, but more a sign of regretting the past. "That side of me is in the past. It won't be happening again." Her voice was sour with contempt regarding what happened. She turned away from him to enjoy her cigarette, her mind still dwelling on her actions. "I still have some of the money, but I only put it to good use... Not a day goes by where I don't regret everything I did. But I can't change what happened. I can only change myself now." A certain depression hung in the air, but only until she shook her head. "It's best not to dwell on it though." Minna remained silent, removing the cigarette from her mouth and letting it hang from inbetween her fingers.

"Why did you do it then hmm? There had to have been a good reason past the body that you have right now." He stared at her once more but this time there remained a small amount of understanding in that look of his as he had a very good idea what it was that the girl needed the new body for. What he was truly interested by was if she actually left the sith fully or if there were still ties that would hold her back from protecting others. He didn't know and honestly he knew he would not know for a while until it was tested. The thing was he knew she would be tested some time in the future, could she do as need be or will she hesitate and die.

"I did it because I was consumed by the darkness. I delved too deep into it without thought or caution." Minna dropped her cigarette to the floor, stamping out it's flame. "It was for the people I care about. But they're far away now..." Ferus... Asajjj... Both of them still in the hands of the Sith, indoctrinated by their need to serve the dark lord. There was still a chance, she thought, still good in them. But what light Ferus had left was quelled by the darkness he had forced out of her, it was a near-hopeless case for the desperate. Despite that, Minna refused to give up hope that she could save them... Bring them home...

She stood there, regretting the past it seemed to him and now she lost her family. "Tell you what Minna, you help out my confederacy and i will protect your order, you are Alexandra's successor are you not? With that said my dear i have one simple thing to ask... when you find your family, and when you free them from their pain... Make sure you survive too. There is no point in dying if you cannot save them and be sure to ask for help from those around you, ive seen far too many die to see one lose her life to those she wants to protect." He looked at her with soft eyes, smiling and waving his hand to the ground. "Sit please, ill have someone bring up some tea, it will taste much better than that cancerous filled addiction."
