An Unexpected Encounter (Selene)

Lord Ajihad, the Fist of the Demon, was in an uncomfortable situation. He had a business meeting to attend to, and he was in the Sith technological archives to withdraw a new weapon plan that his company, Mystic Tekk, was making for the One Sith. He had stored the plans in there the day before, so he could easily withdraw the plans on the way to his meeting. However, that was not why he was uncomfortable. He was wearing a suit. He much preferred his black assassin armor to the black tuxedo he was now wearing.

The one-eyed Sith had just withdrawn the weapon plans, when he felt a presence approaching. This presence was not Sith, as the force within them felt... unintentionally subdued. Frowning, the Demon's Fist slid into the shadows, force presence shrunk beyond this intruder's detection.

Selene didn't exactly own a suit of armor like she wanted but she concocted her own little get up. Black leggings, black leather jacket, and with the hood on she had taken dark black paint and made smooth strokes around her eyes. Unfortunately for Selene her eyes naturally illuminated in the darkness so they are not hidden. Her feet bare to give her the most amount of stealth she could possibly get. It wouldn't conceal all her face but to anyone looking from a distance or a quick glance and her identity would be hidden. Her anonymous supplied her with an ID badge which was her key to getting in. Swiping the card through a small slot a green light scanned over it and then granted her access to the facility. Pushing the heavy door open she swung around and grabbed it before the door could slam. Closing it gently behind her she examined the room. It was rather dark and not as well lit as the thought it would be. Though it that would make it easier for her to move around.

Looking around Selene's footsteps made absolutely no sound. Thankfully for her both of her counterparts had shared in the same abilities and senses. Her fingertips had smooth surfaces on them. Though there were faint burn marks around the sides. After being so afraid that someone would find her prints somewhere she decided to use a corrosive substance, acid, and burn them off herself. It was the most pain she's ever experienced in her life but it worked in her favor in the long haul. Allowing to touch whatever she wanted and leave no trace. Gently her fingers skimmed over papers that read several different classified subjects but if they weren't weapon plans, she wasn't interested. The feline stopped for a second, a scent wafted into her nostrils.

She wasn't sure if it was just the fact that people had been in here earlier in the day or there was someone in here she had not discovered. Flaring her nostrils Selene pin pointed a area in which the strongest sent was coming from. Slowly she began to walk over there, no one was in sight. Yet she got the feeling something was not completely right. She was missing something. Of course this wasn't going to derail her but it did make her speed up the process. Her orange eyes flickered around for a moment and her tail gave a disapproving swish from side to side. Then she turned her back on the direction of the scent and went back to searching for the files, they had to be around somewhere..

The assassin watched the intruder from the shadows. As she turned to face where he stood, he immediately activated one of the custom features of his indigo cybernetic eye. It scanned her face, noting every tiny feature of it. A second later, her identity showed up as [member="Selene Ishtar"] . It said her species was a Felacatian. He frowned. What in the world was a Felacatian. Then, he saw the tail. After a moment, he decided to stay in the shadows to see what this feline intruder was after.

Placing a hand under her chin, Selene's brows creased as she simply could not find what she was looking for. A click from the main door sounded and it swung open. The sound of heels entered the building. Quickly she got down behind a desk. Turning her head slightly her eyes looked on a file that read in tiny black print "MYSTIC TEKK". The woman was coming closer and closer with every step. Selene knew what she had to do and was willing to do it. Without hesitation as the woman neared the desk, she shifted. Taking her beastly form the feline didn't even have to leap up to grab the woman. Compared to the desk the creature was much larger then by far. Her head was twice the size as her next prey. Of course she screamed but not before Selene could get her jaws around her.

Striking the woman down, the feline first tackled her and then closed her jaws over her head. Because of her strength it wasn't hard to break bone. Though the skull was exceptionally hard. She squeezed until there was a faint crack and the woman's body went limp. The taste of Human blood entered her mouth. It was quite revolting. Opening her mouth she then grabbed the shirt on the woman between her teeth and begun to drag her over to a section where if there were any more intruders the body wouldn't be found until Selene was long gone.

Lord Ajihad noticed as [member="Selene Ishtar"] looked at the Mystic Tekk file next to her. He frowned. He was hoping to wait and see what the intruder tried to steal, but now that his company's files were in jeopardy, he would have to ensure their safety.

Just as he was about to emerge from the shadows, a woman entered the scene. It didn't take long for the feline alien to shape-shift, and maul the unsuspecting businesswoman. As she dragged the bloody corpse across the room, the Demon's Fist emerged from the shadows. He slowly clapped his hands, and the rich accent of his voice cut across the room, "Impressive, impressive. And who might you be?"

She was not very surprised that there was someone awaiting in the darkness. Though she was taken aback as the man came forth and showed himself. Her feline form was definitely much, much larger then him. Shifting back into her human-like form would not be the smartest idea until she took note of how capable he was. Selene treated every tick as though there would be attack at any moment. Lifting her head she looked down into his eyes, her eyes were only inches above his head. The ends on her fur stood up to make herself larger then she already was. A natural defense mechanism.

Selene remained silent only for a minute or two. The dark paint that she had drawn on herself had transferred onto her feline form as black smudges around her eyes. Her breath was hot and the stench of human blood lingered from her tongue. The voice that emanated from her was not very feminism at all. In fact it was rusty and rumbled in her throat. Producing an unsettling and strange voice. "Do not worry about my identity. Now move, I'd rather not drop another body.."

Instead of moving, he did just the opposite. He stood where he was, arms crossed. He viewed the enormous feline before him, failing to be intimidated by [member="Selene Ishtar"] . He spoke again, the deep baritone of his voice echoing all cross the archives. "I'm sure you could try, might even make a good showing if I'm unarmed. However, I wouldn't suggest walking the path to your demise. Felacatians are rather rare these days, after all. Don't want to make them slightly rarer, now, do we? I'll ask again, who are you?"

Her head went back a little and lifted it up to give the man a disgusted look. He talked about how a cross between the two would lead in her fatality. Well, what better way then to find out if he could really put his money where his mouth was. Though not yet, the squabble could wait for now. Selene's hair rose as to make her look larger, a defense mechanism very common among many other creatures. She gave him her deceased mother's name. "Abrella Ventora, now if that's all you need to know..." Tilting her head she gestured that he moved out of the way once more or there were problems to be had.

Though Vi'kas knew [member="Selene Ishtar"] 's real name, his face didn't show it. He nodded at the false name she gave him, and slowly walked over to a nearby computer. He typed "Abrella Ventora" into the device, only for no results to show up. He turned around, and spoke to the girl, "Well, it seems you are not a registered member of the One Sith, Abrella. So, what are you doing in our archives, may I inquire?" He said this with no hostile tone, but stood ready in case a fight ensued.

She didn't want to risk shifting into her human-like form, at least not yet. When he turned to the computer that's when she should have went for the files. They were an arm's length away at the most. Her patience was wearing thin, very thin. Selene remained silent for a minute but her response was firm, like she knew she was talking about. "There must be an issue, I only became in alliance with them a few days ago." Selene gave in a shifted into her human form. Taking off her hood she put her hands up. "Look I know this looks bad but I have an explanation.. just.." Tilting her head she put her hands down and pointed at a rolling chair, suggesting he sit down. It was time she played the game.

Judging from the fact that [member="Selene Ishtar"] still wasn't giving up on her charade, he assumed she was going to try something. This was only made a certainty when she gestured for him to sit down. It was most likely a trap, but he was interested to see how this played out. So he sat in the rolling chair, and continued to stare at the feline lady before him. "So, what is your explanation? And make it quick, or I'll have to call security."

Selene took a deep breath of relief but she knew it was going to take more than just a tall tale story to build a new alibi. Even though he took a seat as she suggested her guard remained up. "Okay, let's start from the beginning." Her former mother used to talk quite a bit and quickly, she was going to take advantage of that. Not to mention the faster you talk the quicker some people get annoyed and don't even pay attention to what the woman was talking about. Moving her hands with several gestures, it helped get her point across. "Since you now know I that only recently joined you have to understand that my ID has not been printed nor has my information been entered into the systems. It does take quite a long time for that to follow through so to speak." Selene talked a mile a minute. "The.. woman?" She gestured over to the deceased body. "She frightened me, I couldn't help but defend myself. It's a miracle I didn't go after you."

Giving a soft chuckle she quickly stopped and continued on with her story."And what do I want with those files? I'm going to an important business meeting with a client and I'm hoping that by looking at other successful companies that I'll get a few new ideas of my own. " Pausing, she caught her breath and looked up to see if the man was still following along before she went along. Her tail gave a quick swish and then remained behind her. "Does that answer your questions?" Worming her way out of this one was going to be tough but surely she had gotten away with some of the story. Giving a picture-worthy smile Selene gently leaned on the desk as though to appear relaxed but in reality every muscle in her body was tense, waiting to spring on a moments notice.

He didn't believe a word she told him, but it mattered not. Vi'kas was looking at the bigger picture, which would involve him playing along. Therefore, he nodded at everything she said, pretending to believe her. After letting her finish, he pretended to give it thought, and spoke. "All sounds about right to me. The problem is, though, given you're name isn't registered, you will not be able to extract the files. You'll need someone with access to go ahead and get them for you."

Selene crossed her arms and smiled gratefully. "Well, I mean what's the point of coming out here and wasting my time?" She hinted at the idea of him getting the files for her. Since he obviously had the power to do so. Selene batted her eyelashes as though it would make a difference but to be honest, that almost never worked. If it did word, he'd be a quite a weak minded man.

After keeping eye contact with her for a second, Vi'kas sighed, pretending to give in. It was all part of his charade, but it'd hopefully be enough to fool her. "Fine, I can do it. Administration must have messed up your file, that's all. Now, what do you need me to get for you?"
