An Unexpected Guest

Dathomir

When the young witch was not training she was exploring the planet. There was so much to see and so many things to experience and she wished to do it all. She found the forest to be a quite place where she could just sit and relax after a long day of training. The young seer was getting used to watching all the little creatures scurry about as she lay in the grass or even in a tree. Freedom was a wonderful thing and she would never take it for granted.

Due to the lack of technical innovations of the planet they didn't have a spaceport around where she was. If a visitor showed up they normally landed in a field somewhere but they didn't get many of those. When one happened to show up it was a big thing and everyone was high alert. Lately thought it had just been her brother coming to visit her.

What the young witch wasn't aware of was the little town a bit away that did have a spaceport along with a few amenities for guests. It was a quite town away from the witch clans but still civil with them.

Today she could be found just wandering the forest alone as she normally did. The thought of getting herself a pet crossed her mind several times.

Twenty four meters of rust and metal a light fighter dipped into the atmosphere with a slow decent over Dathomri’s sky. Followed behind the transport a white plum trail of could streaked across the sky. It was an unexpected sight over Dathomri. Was it to be an omen of good or ill?

Its decent rapidly slowed and surprisedly landed in the field for such a large chunk of rusted metal. Once the landing gears touched down jets of warm air blew out compressed air worked with pistons in the landing gear to help absorb the landing.

Once at a full stop a ramp lowered in the back of the craft. Within moments a tall tanned man exited the craft. His garb vastly different in style then men on Dathomri. Black leather pants and a white tunic/shirt? What do men of a different plane call their garments they wear over there torso, chest, back, and arms? What may had been a familiar sight on Dathomri was two items that hung off his belt. One being a hunting knight of a unusual style and the other a hilt of a lightsaber.

It was hard to miss the plum trail the streaked across the sky. She couldn't tell if that was something new or an oddity but either way she wanted to check it out. Anastasia was far too curious not to do just that which at times she knew could get her into trouble. The young seer couldn't help but be curious about the world around her which had been a mystery to her until recently.

As she followed the path she came across a ship in a field which caused her to stop. They were not expecting company in the slightest and she didn't recognize the ship. The presence she could feel wasn't familiar either which made her think it was best to run and tell the others but she didn't. Instead she kind of just stood there watching to see what would happen.

The young Mandalorian had learned how to use her weapons so if whomever that ship belonged to wasn't friendly she had no trouble at all protecting herself with her knife she had on her hip or her bow and arrow.

How long was it since Garith had been on Dathomir? It was long enough for things to change. Generations had changed and if he met anyone here could be a great grand child. Maybe even twice great with how often Dathomri had kids.

Stepping out of the transport Garith took a good like around. So green and fresh clean air. A world filled with the wild. It was a nice feeling. “Hello”, he waved to the young woman holding a notched bow aimed at him.

"Hello," she stated not letting up on her grip of the bow. Anastasia didn't trust strangers at all and one whom was Force sensitive was definitely not trustworthy. There was no way she was going back to prison ever. She loved her freedom and all that it entailed. Going back to that place would be terrible and it was definitely not where she planned to end up anytime soon. The young seer was on guard always.

"What are you doing here? What do you want?"

[member="Garith Darkhold"]

Absent of fear the man smiled at the bow. “Cation is good when dealing within anyone”, he took a step closer. “I mean you no harm though. It has been centuries since I was here last. Showing his hands they were empty and in plain sight. “I only wish to see what has changed and have a nice enjoyable stay. That means I’m not looking to make enemies. My name is Garith Darkhold. My last home near to Dathomri would be the Mando’ade planet of Shogun. May I ask who I’m speaking too?”

"Anastasia,"she stated still eyeing him and not lowering her bow. "Why should I believe you?" She was very slow to trust and for good reasons. This man could be playing a trick on her and trying to take her back to prison or something worse. She couldn't allow that to happen and she hoped if he was innocent that he could understand that. "What is your business here? Were you looking to go back to your old home?'

She would in that case follow him but keep her guard up of course until she felt there was a reason not to do so. The young witch wouldn't take him to her clan of course but if that was where he led her, so be it. That must be where a reason for it in that case. She had no quarrel following him around.

Listening Garith stepped to his right with a forward momentum. This exposed his side to her as he began started to walk around her. His held turn slight so he could still see her. “Why am I here”, rhetorical, he just repeated her question. “I have no true purpose other then to enjoy the bounty of nature the Goddess”, he held our his arms, motioning with his arms to the land around them. “Can a old man of the faith of Manda enjoy such things as well?”

She blinked a little and was taken back when he stated that he was of the Manda faith. Those whom had rescued her were of the same fate which she now also studied. The young witch felt she belonged right beside them. Azrael already considered her his little sister but she saw him as a father figure. He had rescued her and taken care of her when she had needed someone the most. In her eyes he was the father that she had never had.

"Yes, you may. I could come with you?" She wouldn't say it but Anastasia was still exploring this world herself. Company was never a bad thing and this way she could keep an eye on him.

“Yes please do come along”, he stopped and looked about. He may have been judging what way to go. “So”, he looked back to [member="Anastasia Rade"]. “This is your world, is there anything around here like massive waterfalls or natural land formations that would be interesting to see?”

[member="Garith Darkhold"]

"Well, I'm actually unfamiliar with the land. I'm still learning about this planet so I'm curious if you know anywhere we can go. I have seen a few of the big waterfalls but nothing much else. There is so much here to see and do. I get distracted at times and just rest in a patch of grass or something."

Stopping, he tuned upon his heel and looked at Ana a bit excited, “Lets go to the waterfall. Is there a body of water at the base that can be swam in”, not that he had the proper cloths with him to go swimming, but she most likely did not know that.
