So guys, here's just a little snippet of whats going on behind the scenes.
I opened up a line of dialog with the new Republic leader, Kiskla. I proposed a thread that would effectively end the war between the two factions. The One Sith would attack Anaxes, and we would try to hold the biggest thread that the board had ever seen, allies on both sides, with the eventual outcome being that the One Sith win and the Republic is toppled by this second key loss.
The Republic would then essentially turn into the Rebel Alliance, and do what we did, hide in the shadows, do lots of skirmishes, then eventually return and hit hard and fast.
Their faction is currently voting on this, as well as two other options. One other option being to perhaps merge with the Omega Protectorate, while the other is to stay as they currently are.
If either of the latter two options is chosen, our war will likely continue as it has been. However,an Invasion will happen soon regardless as if they pick our option, we will have an epic final battle. After nearly a month, i think you guys are ready for some more fighting, eh?
