"...to be a Sith is to be exactly what you want to be, do exactly what you want to do, and overcome every obstacle in your path. To be a Sith is to find your own objectives and do anything, anything at all, to accomplish them...To be a Sith Master is not to run away from everything that might be used against you, it's to face it and put it in its proper perspective. It's to pursue whatever you want, knowing that you can put it aside if necessary...to value things and people and states of being, exactly as much as you want to value them -- and to be able to put them aside, even sacrifice them, when it is necessary."

Flare for the dramatic: Anaya likes chaos, she likes drama and above all she likes to stand out among the crowd. Her actions and her words are generally tailored to have this desired effect. A lack of attention in these moments will always lead to petulance and a possible violence.

BIOGRAPHY
To start life as female twi’lek on Ryloth meant Anaya was destined for a difficult life. Sold into slavery at the age of 7 she was raised in a whore house. Though she never touched a man until she was 11 Anaya hated every minute of it. Stubborn and hot-headed from such a young age she was subject to beatings regularly, the tattoos on her skin were burnt into her skin to make her more attractive to the customers.
When she was given her first man she played along with the game to start with but when things became to heated she panicked and tried to fight it, only serving to anger the man and encourage him to rape her. She lived like this, dreading every day she woke, hating every man she lied eyes on and every condescending woman who told her it was her duty to please. Two years passed before she finally fought back and her owner wrote her off as a lost cause and sold her a Sith Lord who had a liking for twi’lek girls with a spirit.
His name was Darth Oman and his original intention was to merely have her as his own personal ‘pet’ so to speak, but when she was delivered to him he sensed the force within her, and felt her anger and hatred towards the world. He fuelled this anger by belittling her often though he trained her all the same. She grew to both hate and love her master over the years. She learnt to fight, but more importantly she learnt to deceive.
One night she came to him, dressed in the slinkiest outfit she could fine. Nights of passion between them were not uncommon, but this night she had another intention and while he was absorbed by her, she cut his throat and left him to bleed to death in his own bed.
She needed a new master, a more powerful master, one that could truly teach her to use the force to its full extent. Her search for knowledge led her to the growing Sith Empire, then ruled by a triumvirate. There at the Korriban Academy she proved her worth to the Dread Lord Moridin and became his apprentice. Under his wing, Anaya learned a great deal about manipulation and it was through him that she earned a reputation as a ruthless backstabber. Friends were never friends for long. She assisted him in usurping control from the triumvirate and was more than content to see him take the first throne as Emperor of the Sith and serve as his Hand.
During her time at his side, she trained for a short while with Kaine Zambrano learning the skills required for infiltration. Their time together was riddled with passion and she fell in love with him, despite her misgivings about such emotions. However During the Omni ciris, Kaine was turned against her and she found a weakness in their love and later sought to destroy him in order to rid herself of such ties. The result gained her an enemy like no other. There mere mention of her name to him caused him to rage for many years after.
Moridin teamed her up with Ashin Varanin, then a Dark Jedi tasked with testing and training the sith apprentices. She took to Ashin like she had no other, and to this day remains unable to resist the woman’s charm. Anaya was coiled about the her finger and when asked to aid in usurping Moridin, she was all too happy to help.
This obsession and desire to receive her attention came with competition in the form of Spencer Jacobs, Ashin’s mysterious apprentice. Ashin’s love and devotion to Spencer marked the Jedi as Anaya’s nemesis and a triangle infused with hate and passion marked many years ahead. As a jealous girl, Anaya was full of spite and saw flaws in Ashin’s rule, shifting her support once more to the Lord Voracitos Anaya joined the plot to overthrow Emperor Ashin at the Battle of Roche and took a seat as Head of the Inquisitors under Voracitos’ rule.
As head of the Inquisitors, Anaya found a penchant for gathering intelligence and using the resources available to her in the Empire began building her network of spies. All that is good, never lasts. Knowing Anaya’s track record for betrayal, Voracitos sought to be rid of the lethan, removing her from power and exiling her from Sith space. For the first time that she could remember, Anaya had no one to serve.
The lack of a master, for want of a better word, left Anaya drifting unsure of her purpose or destination. She settled for a time in a club on Zeltros, the location soon to become Headquarters for her company. Full of hate and desperate for something to use as on outlet, Anaya lured Spencer Jacobs to Mustafar, seeking a duel to end the feud between them once and for all. The duel left them both fatally wounded, with Ahsin coming forth to collect her lover, and Anaya left blinded, one lekku severely damaged.
Though not permanent, Anaya’s lack of sight left her greatly weakened. Having always prided herself on force powers that hit hard rather than supported her, she found a large flaw in her training, however, still exiled from the Empire she was hard pressed to find opportunity to amend this fact. Fearing an attack from Ashin as payment in kind for the harm done to Spencer, Anaya kept a low profile till an old acquaintance called out to her. Mikhail Shorn, miscreant and her rival in snark and petulance, Anaya answered the call from him, hoping, perhaps foolishly to find an ally. Alas, Anaya had overlooked a fatality that left her for dead. Mikhail loved Spencer, and upon hearing what had been done to her sought to punish her. Still blind, she was almost defenceless, sheer luck caused the blade of his saber to miss her heart and she retaliated, shorting his saber and blowing his hand from his wrist.
Living to fight another day, and recovering both her health and her heart Anaya focused her efforts on building an Empire of her own as the Sith Empire fell under Kaine Zambrano’s rule. Apoleia Inc. became her pride and joy, a network of venues that served as a cover for intelligence gathering and smuggling. For a long time, Anaya was content to build her empire, through it gaining friends and allies in the form of Sarge Pottegier, another brief lover and Moira Skaldi a HRD with a great respect for Anya’s desire to cause chaos where she could. She wiled away the years popping up in unlikely locations and causing havoc for the sheer pleasure of it.
After the fall of the Sith Empire, a great number of sith retreated to the Fringe and it was here Among the Fringe she met Jared Ovmar a mentalist trained by Spencer and with him she developed a volatile relationship, fraught with jealousy. In a desperate attempt to stir some anger in the man she loved, she told him she had become pregnant but had aborted the fetus, knowing his previous loss of unborn children. The result was a punishment like no other. Far more powerful than Spencer had been Jared had ripped apart her mind and slaughtered the crew of her ship. She spent many months wasting away, talking to herself and being something of a pet to Jared. She came to fear him, perhaps even hate him but was unable, for a long time, to break away from the cruel man.
It wasn’t until she received a call for assistance from an old friend, Sarge Pottegier that she was truly able to escape, but at great cost. The core had been conquered by a new Sith stronghold, The One Sith, ruled by one Dark Lord and with ties to the Yuuzhan Vong. Sarge’s love had been kidnapped and word of her was hard to trace. Clinging to the chace to do something more than rot in the cell of her own mind, Anaya surfaced, albeit breifly from the confines of her mind and approached this great Dark Lord. She never had a plan, if anything this was a reckless attempt to be rid of life itself, but she would find no such grace at his hand. Branding her with a force bond and marking her as a slave he gave her a head start and let her flee. The event shook Anaya to her core, reducing her once more to a wreck of a person and developing the alter ego that she is often found talking to even to this day. A mocking voice, a reflection of herself hellbent on ensuring she never forgets her failures.
Fleeing to Contruum, she was discovered by Rave Merrill who took some pity on her. Feigning attraction to Anaya, Rave took her from Coruscant and to the only thing she knew that might be able to help her. A sword, capable of severing force bonds that lay in the hands of a woman she had no right asking for help. Ashin however, was far more forgiving than Anaya deserved, or perhaps it was that she had the chance to stab Anaya with Ravening , that made her willing to help.
Freed from the terrors the Dark Lord had brought her, Anaya retreated far deeper into the shadows than she had before, fading from the radar of most in the Galaxy. Amidst the shadows, However, Anaya was lonely, yet she dare not seek the company of those who had thwareted her or threatened as much. Instead she opted to create something far more unconditional. Making use of her access to Jared Ovmar’s cloning facilities, she created something that she knew she could never do so natrally, so corrupted by the dark side as she had become. A child, created from the genetic make-up of both herself and Jared Ovmar. A human in appearance, but her child nonetheless, Calina was to become her companion amidst the shadows. Released from her tank far earlier than anticipated, Anaya fled with the young girl, Jared Ovmar hot on her heels and disappeared to raise the girl in secret from the rest of the Galaxy.
She was not a kind mother, incapable of compassion and still battling with her damaged mind, Anaya afflicted more pain than love on her daughter, constantly battling with the girls will to explore beyond the hull of the Femme Fatal. As the girl turned eighteen, the love and admiration that was so rapidly fading from the girl's eyes had gone completely, to be replaced by defiance and a determination to hurt. So wounded by this turn in her child, Anaya did the only thing she knew how. Upon catching her daughter trying to explore without her oversight, Anaya slaughtered the only friend she’d come to have upon the ship, then made her bury him.
The hatred in Calina was impossible to ignore, and Anaya knew the time would come when she would have to set her free. Enlisting the help of an enemy, she abandoned Calina at the feet of Darth Carnifex, better known to Anaya as Kaine Zambrano. Leaving her there for a year, when Anaya returned to collect her daughter, she found a great change in her, a greater confidence and a thirst for knowledge that she knew she would not be able to quench.
Rumours drifting from old Sith space gave Anaya the answer, and she turned her destination back towards the home she was once banished from. A new era was beginning, a new sith stronghold with a great many old names lending their strength to it. Anaya turned the ship towards sith space, setting her daughter free to chase what knowledge she sought.
Her journey home brought her across the path of Grimoire, daughter to Val’Ryss Zankar, and old ally in the Sith Empire. With her mother dead, and no Master to speak of, Anaya took the girl under her wing, her first apprentice for a long time.
