Ancient Greek 'species' [Interest check]

So, I will be making a whole planet and 'species' based on the forefathers of modern civillization - the Ancient Greeks. Mainly due to me making an alt. I am not sure if such 'species' exist yet on this website, I'd be glad to know if it does as it will make this redundant. They will be considered Human or at least near-human (due to some benefits), since they will share similiar characteristics as humans.

I plan on dividing the 'species' into four or maximum five distinctive City States, each having more or less different strengths and weakness. This will give even more variety to the whole 'species'.

I just want to check if anyone would be interested in making a character of such culture when I throw the threads in the Codex and they hopefully get approved.

If I wasn't already struggling to manage what I have I would go for this. This is a cool concept that I might jump on when everything I have with what I have is cooled down.

[member="Zef Halo"] the actual Greek part aside... aren't the Mandalorians as a culture similar? This is a cool concept to be sure, and I want to see this happen, but how do they differ? Generally I'm thinking the Spartans obviously, but maybe eaxh City State has a different specialty or expertise.

Mandalorian culture is indeed SLIGHTLY similar to SPARTAN culture, you're correct. Although there are many differences, I understand where you're coming from. Each City State (Polis) will certainly have its own distinctive characteristics, making the whole concept diverse. I will not go into details on differences between Mandos and Spartans nor into their similarities, as I am on the phone but I definitely understand where you're coming from.


Thanks for the positivity regarding this concept, I will be really putting as much effort as I can on it so it will take time ( despite how much I want to have it all done in a blink of an eye ).
