The Imperial Palace was truly a sight to behold Valessia thought each time she walked on the steps. First Order banners hung from the building with pride, and all around her were proud men and women of the empire. She took in a deep breath as today there would be a minor briefing regarding some more in house matters. It could probably have been shortened to a holo but then she would not get to see all the beautiful faces of her staff. In fact today she planned to visit many within the Diplomatic Corps and see how they were getting on. As the Baroness walked along the polished floor of the palace, her heels made their clicks and clacks against it. She smiled and waved to the interns as they passed, to those who worked in the support offices, and most especially the ones who worked in the on site café.

Across the main floor as she walked over the seal of the government pass the front desk and straight for the lifts. Valessia could see the flags of the First Order, Dosuun, the First Order Government, and Avalonia all lined up behind the desk reflected in the titanium crafted doors that pulled back and allowed passengers off the lift and others like the Baroness on. The doors pulled to a close as she marked the floors for everyone there, and the subtle joke of penthouse floor was made. "Good morning minister," someone said with a smile, one of the mail clerks tipped off his hat.

"Good morning Berlioz, how are you?" She said to him with a smile, "how's your wife?"

"Oh I'm doin' quite well, thank you, and she's very well indeed. Oh, here's me the floor, have a good day minister."

"And a good day to you, Berlioz." Valessia side stepped to allow others to get on the lift and waited patiently as the lift moved up to the floor she needed.

Upon exit, she headed straight down the hall and took a left and could see at the end of the hall.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS.

Security stopping each person, no matter who they were to give them a check over with a wand while they emptied their wallets, and set purses and shoes on a conveyer belt so that all items could be screened properly as they walked through another set of body scanners. It was a routine that the Baroness had become accustomed to by this point. And when it was over she set her shoes and purse together and headed into the office. "Good morning Maryne."

"Good morning, coffee's ready and the café is sending up a cart with the morning's goods. You have a meeting with Curavo Shipping by holo in two hours, and your first meeting with the diplomatic corps is set to start in twenty minutes."

"Thank you, Maryne." Valessia acknowledged as she headed down to her office through the glass doors that bore the seal of her office and her name MINISTER VALESSIA CREED at the top.

Asheda slowly approached the Imperial palace, It was the first time she had seen its full splendor, over elaborated decoration with plenty of flags and other symbols to show the Empires power, seemed like they were trying to compensate for something. The young Torugta gave a slight chuckle and she ascended the stairs to the entrance, her black dress flowing behind her in the wind similar to the high handing flags that flanked the front doors.

Asheda was fairly new to the who First Order representative position, though her past life as a Jedi, which had remained secret from the higher up due to help some Help from Kyrel Ren, gave her a more natural and un-bias insight to the Empires enemies, and would make it easier to discuss certain matters. Upon entering she had haste towards the security gate, wanting to meet with this [member="Valessia Creed"] as soon as possible.

Asheda approached the security terminal, getting cheeked out and scanned, once completed she quickly strode into the main area, in search of Creeds office for the meeting with the diplomatic corps. "A you must be Asheda, the meeting is about to start in 15 minutes, Ms Creed is awaiting you". "Thank you I'll be with her in a minute", giving a small nod she made her way to the office, not yet familiar with the layout of the building to make her own way to the meeting room.

Madlyn Sol was no stranger to the Imperial Palace having served as a diplomatic aide for some time now, though she had never had the pleasure of being invited to the Foreign Minister's office. The Counsellor had been in the presence of [member="Valessia Creed"] a few times as of late during negotiations with the Taloraan government and of course the peace treaty talks with the Galactic Alliance. She was always working behind the scenes in some capacity usually using her expertise in Intergalactic Law, though there was hope someday the Eriaduan would move up the ladder to a more prominent role in the First Order's Diplomatic Corps.

Security had been heightened since the attack on Dosuun by the Ssi-Ruuk, which Madlyn thankfully survived, and most recently the war with their neighbors to the East. After taking the lift upstairs, the long-legged redhead dressed professionally in a pencil skirt/jacket combo with her red-gold hair pulled back into a stylish knotted bun exited on the desired floor and walked down one corridor, then took a left at the junction of another, which took the green-eyed lawyer to the Foreign Affairs main office. Just before arriving however, Madlyn summited to a check and scan at the security checkpoint, then gathered her things including a black leather briefcase and proceeded inside to the outer office where the minister's secretary sat.

"Good morning," Mads greeted the woman cordially with a small smile. "I am Councellor Sol here for a meeting with Minister Creed."

"Of course, right behind me and to the left," Maryne said to [member="Madlyn Sol"] with a smile.

Valessia just entered the conference room right before the cart arrived. "Oh yes, set a basket in here and then one in the break room, thank you, Gustavo." The minister said just as she waved both Madlyn and [member="Asheda Tyr"] into the conference room. Bright fluorescent lights, a long dark wood table shaped like an oval with equipment for conferences in the middle, and black leather office chairs surrounding it. "Good morning ladies, Minister Valessia Creed and you must be Representative Tyr and you, hello, it's been a little bit welcome Counsellor Sol."

The Baroness had given both ladies a firm handshake and for a moment held onto Madlyn's just a little bit longer so that she might introduce the two women, "Counsellor Sol this is Representative Tyr our newest addition to the Diplomatic Corps. Representative Tyr, Counsellor Madlyn Sol. You could learn a lot from the good Counsellor here, now please have a seat and help yourselves to the morning's refreshments. Freshly baked by our wonderful friends in the café downstairs."

As she took her seat the Minister prepared her tablet, "right so again welcome Representative Tyr and before we get into the thick of things here, are there any questions that you might have for me or even Counsellor Sol?"

"Thank you," Mads nodded appreciatively to the secretary, then the redhead continued on to the conference room seemingly along with another joining them; a young Togruta. Odd, she mused silently to herself. Not that it was necessarily a bad thing, just there seemed to be more and more aliens rising amongst the First Order. A Chiss doctor was now the Minister of Health. Go figure.

Upon entering the room, Madlyn focused upon the elegant stateswoman greeting them. [member="Valessia Creed"] had a certain way about her; a quiet grace yet a powerful presence. The Counsellor returned the firm handshake. "A bit, though I am ever glad to see you once again," she answered with a warm smile before being introduced to the new representative it seemed.

"A pleasure to meet you, Representative Tyr. If I may be of assistance, please don't hesitate to ask," the diplomatic aide offered to [member="Asheda Tyr"] in a friendly fashion, then she took a seat at the table.

After pulling out her data pad from the briefcase that was set down by her heeled feet, Madlyn poured herself a cup of caf from a hot liquid carafe on the table, then chose a breakfast muffin from the basket and placed it onto a bread plate; a linen napkin being placed upon her lap. The health nut would only pick at it from time to time during the meeting as a small indulgence would be taken for the baked goods from the café in the lobby were scrumptious. Definitely something one should not eat every day, if one wanted to remain slim and trim.

The conference room was large and accompanied by a stereotypical oval table for a conference room, the new representative gave a slight bow to [member="Madlyn Sol"], "Like wise Miss Sol, and thank you for offering assistance, I hope I can meet your expectation". Asheda was slightly nervous, she had not really met people of diplomatic importance often.

The Togurta sat down and proceeded to pour a cup of Caf, as well as grab a muffin, even despite the fact she had already eaten, "I guess I would like to ask about the nature of the diplomatic corp, and there most recent activities". "I have read up on the War Between the First Order and the Galactic Alliance, as well as the ORC and have a bit of understanding on how they operate".

She took a short sip from her Caf before continuing, "I would also like to know where someone of my past could be useful seeing as how I used to be a Jedi, but left the Order as I did not agree with there code, would such inside knowledge be useful for the diplomatic core, and would I need to keep that a secret from others". She had made it known to the higher ups in the diplomatic core about her Jedi past, to avoid any problems that may arise in future negotiations.
