STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES & TRAITS :

Forward Observer - Being a forward observer Andan has received specialist training in order fulfil this role. From getting behind enemy lines to calling accurate air and artillery fire Andan knows it all.
Hardy - A combination of living his life as a beggar and street urchin to intense military training Andan is no stranger to a hard life and he will rarely shy away from a hardy task. This has also given him a level of perseverance and he is a man who sees a mission completed regardless of the cost
Young - Andan is still relatively quite young and to some is still considered a rookie. At 21 and a corporal in the New Imperial Order Army he still has quite a lot to learn.
Lightly Armed and Armoured - As a forward observer he is relatively lightly armed and armoured with the primary goal of his kit selection is to grant him greater mobility and stealth.
Loyalty - Despite leaving behind the Sith Empire he still holds loyalty to all things Imperial. They had given him 3 meals a day, a steady paycheck and a new home at one point and he won't forget that.

EQUIPMENT AND APPAREL:

Grey Military Fatigues - Equipped with the standard grey military fatiques including a cap which he wears under his armour. He often alters the uniform to fit certain environments and it isn't uncommon for him to choose certain parts of the clothing to wear or alter entirely.
Strike Force Armor Mk. I - Wearing the chestplate and boots of Strike Force armour Andan chose to shed some of his armour after becoming a Forward Observer in favour of mobility and stealth which are crucial aspects in his job
Goggles and Bandana - In combat he always wears a set of goggles and balaclava in order to protect him from the elements. His goggles have a built in HUD in order to assist him in calling artillery and air strikes.
AK-57x Charric Rifle - The AK-57x is his primary weapon of choice, being on the lighter side of the New Imperial's weaponry while still retaining a high rate of fire
SFP-60x Particle Beam Pistol - Andan's side arm, a weapon he resorts to in the event his AK either runs out of ammo or is unusable
REC-ACS/01 “Batillum” - Pattern Entrenching Tool - A big part of his role includes building concealed emplacements from where an observer can watch enemy movements. The Entrenching tool is an incredibly versatile tool and allows him to do this

BIOGRAPHY:
TLDR: Born on Ord Mantell Andan struggled early and life and after the death of his parents he ran off, living on the streets eventually finding himself on Bastion. After a week on the streets he joined the military for a better life and he found it, developing a sense of loyalty to the officers he served under. Andan eventually became a Forward observer and defected along with the rest of his platoon to the NIO.

Detailed: The galaxy is a cruel place and Andan learnt this early on in his life. Andan was born to an impoverished family on Ord Mantell, his father slaved away amongst the many scrap yards for a meagre wage while his mother worked tirelessly in the town's local cantina. There were many days with little food and more where a young Andan was forced to work with his father for half the salary. Each walk a man would come into their homes and take half the money the earned and Andan learnt that he was loan shark and that when his parents were young they took a gamble which didn't pay off.

For a long time Andan wondered why his parents brought him into this world, a world of misery, struggle and oppression and it was only after the death of his father at the scrap yards and the suicide of his mother did he learn. They wanted happiness. The only joy they had in the world was watching Andan grow up, doing things as a family, raising him to be better than they were. And now they were gone. Left with nothing Andan abandoned his home, burying his parents in two shallow graves he lived on the streets, stealing and begging, doing whatever he could to get by.

Tired of living on the depressing industrial world he snuck on a cargo ship bound for Bastion at 18 for a better life and in his eyes he found it. Sneaking off the cargo vessel and into New Carannia the scrawny 18 year old was in awe at the great city of Ravelin. It was on one of his first few days in Ravelin did he walk past a massive recruiting office for the Sith Imperial military. The promise of warm food, pay and housing lured the young man in and he never left.

Put through an intensive military training regime, Andan was eventually selected as an artillery gunner and after his graduation he spent a year on tour, operating a variety of weaponry and vehicles, from walkers to tracked vehicles earning certifications as both an Artillery Loader and mortar crewman. The military became his life and he began to appreciate it, the rigid structure, the pay and a home, Andan began developing a sense of loyalty to many military officers he served uner. Soon new opportunities presented themselves to him and one he took great interest in was as a forward observer, particularly the hazard pay and after 15 weeks of intensive training he graduated for the elite unit. Before he could get to his new unit the Civil War broke out and massive amounts of defections occurred. The instructor of the course was one of those who defected and after a rousing speech along went the entire cohort, including Andan. To this day, he fights for the New Imperial Order.
