SPECIAL FEATURES

DESCRIPTION
A standard RSKF-44 heavy blaster pistol that has been modified by Andan Solo to allow for a rapid fire mode. The weapon is a distinct two-barrel design, which fires two blaster bolts as standard. The modification allows for a toggle to be activated, which separates the dual barrels firing sequence, increasing bolt output by double, however the damage output per shot is lessened as a result. Due to firing blaster bolts, there is little-to-no recoil, despite the speed of firing the weapon has.

Being of average size, this weapon is equipped with a power pack capacity for fifty shots. The power packs eject from a side loader, which opens similar to old style revolver slugthrowers, and can simply be replaced as per standard blaster methods. This weapon is typically only effective within a personal range, and its accuracy drops when engaging at longer ranges. The barrel of the weapon is of fine craftsmanship, allowing sustained fire without overheating or melting the barrel.

Additionally, nutorium plating has been applied to the weapon, which allows for significantly improved sensor-blocking when passing through weapon detectors. This can allow Andan to conceal his blaster, affording him the opportunity to stay armed when otherwise forced to disarm. Yet, the plating isn't infallible, and high-end/military grade scanners may still detect the weapon.

• Metallic armors receive an electric shock with each hit, capable of disrupting the wearer briefly if not protected against such damage.
• Maser bolts are unable to be reflected by lightsabers, resulting in increased difficulty defending when under fire from this type of weapon.

DESCRIPTION
A completely custom heavy maser pistol, which was created by commission of Andan Solo by Malaxan Firepower Incorporated. The weapon utilizes maser tech, which offers increased thermal and kinetic damage, as well as electrical shock to non-insinuated metallic armors, and are unable to be reflected by lightsabers. Additionally, the enormous impact per bolt allows for opponents defending with deflection capable weapons to be physically worn down with repeated attack, with some Jedi and Sith even outright losing their grasp on lightsabers. Due to the kinetic power of each shot, there is a far larger recoil when compared to standard blasters, while also requiring more power with each shot, resulting in smaller power packs and more reloading.

Due to the improved nature of the bolts, the weapons accuracy is very high. Because of the higher particle and kinetic energy of each bolt, the effective range has been improved, if not extended. For reloading, the front of the maser pistol cocks forward, causing power packs to eject, and can simply be replaced as per standard blaster methods. This weapon is typically only effective within a personal range, however the carbine configuration attachments allow for longer range due to stablizing and scoped methods; yet, due to the larger size in this setup, the recoil and reloading are higher and longer, respectively. The barrel of the weapon is of fine craftsmanship, allowing sustained fire without overheating or melting the barrel, with the ostrine alloy assisting heavily with cooling requirements.
