NAME: Andel Vizsla

FACTION: None, presently.

RANK: None.

SPECIES: Human.

AGE: 21

SEX: Male

HEIGHT: 6'1

WEIGHT: Roughly 200 pounds

EYES: Green

HAIR: Blonde

SKIN: Caucasian

FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes, although he isn't trained and doesn't seem particularly interested in learning how to master his abilities. Due to the negative stigma applied to Force Sensitives among Mandalorians, Andel tries his best to ignore his abilities and keeps them to himself.

STRENGTHS:
  • Mandalorian: Like other members of his people, Andel has undergone extensive training. He's more than a capable combatant when using blasters and hand-to-hand weapons.
  • Lost Son: Ever since his Force abilities were revealed, Andel has remained in a state of self-imposed exile. Only recently has he began searching for his house and clan. This acts as both a weakness and a strength. The main positive aspect is that it makes him a relative unknown amongst the internal politics of the Mandalorians. He'd prefer to keep it that way.
  • Introspective: Andel always has a calm and tranquil demeanor. In fact, people rarely seem to think much of him due to his silent nature. However, his mind remains constantly on the move. He's careful, patient, and reflective with every action he makes. Nothing he does is an accident.
  • Informed: Regardless of the subject, Andel seems to carry with him an obnoxious amount of knowledge on just about anything. His favored area of study is galactic history. Fortunately, this knowledge isn't entirely useless. It tends to play into his battle tactics and plans.
  • Survivalist: Although he was in exile, Andel didn't spend his time standing by idly. He was on Myrkr honing his skills as a warrior and a survivalist. Should he find himself lost somewhere, chances are the planet will get shattered long before he is.
WEAKNESSES:
  • Woe to the Exile: While his detachment from the Mandalorian sphere gives him an unassuming stature, it also means he's been lost under the proverbial rock. He's not at all aware of what has gone on since his youth and is bound to find himself in for quite the surprise.
  • Supremacist: Andel carries with him the belief that Mandalorians are the supreme people of the galaxy. While this belief in itself is harmless, it often leads to bigotry against non-humanoids. He firmly believes that only aliens with humanoid attributes can make acceptable Mandalorians, thus making anyone who doesn't fit that biological template unworthy of his respect.
BIOGRAPHY:

Andel was born on Concordia. Both of his parents, Grael and Tanna, were warriors. They were fierce and respected for the glory they had brought upon their people. In fact, many believed Grael would become their Alor one day. They were happy when they learned Tanna was pregnant, but this happiness soon faded when Andel was born. He was premature, small, and sickly. Even with medical assistance, many doubted he'd survive. Grael felt so ashamed that he refused to go near him let alone name him. Tanna was heartbroken. During her pregnancy, she had all these aspirations for her child only for him to be born almost dead.

Despite what many believed, Andel did pull through. Tanna believed it to be a blessing, although Grael didn't ascribe to such superstition. Andel's life was one described by struggle. Nothing he had was given to him. The unfortunate state of his body put him at a natural disadvantage. When he trained, the other children easily overpowered him and his father was no gentler. Rather than breaking, his will hardened. He became determined not just to survive but to thrive. He spent his training tackling every challenge that dared come before him. It was shortly after his training ended that his Force abilities manifested. In an accident he refuses to speak of, he took the life of another of the trainees. His best friend. This event troubled him so much that he left Concordia soon after, not even telling his parents goodbye.

After that, Myrkr became his home. He expected to die on the planet since the creatures there have a strange connection to the Force, but he didn't. He found the world to be beautiful in a complicated way. While it was dangerous and brutal there, it was also simple and liberating. He's been there since he was fourteen. Only now as a man has he finally left his exile. He knows the galaxy isn't the same place he left it, but he's hopeful that his kin are still out there somewhere. After all, in a place as turbulent as this, where else would a Mandalorian be?
