- The Blasters Just Slide Off!: Blasters do not damage, if at all, the Victory-Wing due to the Phkalt coating. More so, it can shimmer in and out of view rather quickly.
- We Can't Stop!: Have to slow down first for the SLAM MK. II, else it will destroy the Victor-wing.
- Six Buttons, Four Directions: There is a lot of controls, making it problematic for anyone forced to take the wheel as each lever operates another one of the other engines. It is complex for anyone other than a droid, which generally happens when the starship gets damaged...as the only person that can repair it, is Angelus.
- Side Blinds: It has a unique problem of not being able to see the sides, making the blind spots dangerous. While cameras help, it can be used to attack from the side quickly to gain the upper hand or hide extremely close by.
The need for transportation off the planet was becoming increasingly obvious. After taking some low paying jobs, design contracts and having his name put out that he was indeed, a Hafey, he finally got a hold of a starship dealer that offered to give a starfighter for a percentage of profit if he could find a way to enhance the design. Agreeing to the terms, they shook on the idea that the Victor-wing possibly could be a new design bed for Have Gun Will Travel. Once acquired, parts were ordered and flown in, night and day it was worked on with a steady supply of Phkalt Metal to replace the armored components.
As time went on, a droid brain was introduced towards the droid operation turret, having an incentive that it can receive a body once they returned to the companies foregrounds. The droid brain agreed and was imbedded currently into the turret slot, along with many other sections of components. With the magnets installed, he loaded up the gunboat with the essentials and new weaponry and took off, knowing it was time to get himself into the galaxy at large.
