Tiss'sharl

Tiss'sharl was... an odd world, for a lack of a better term.

Sure, it possessed many of the qualities one would be pleased to find in a civilized world rife with modern technology and convenience. However, what truly set Tiss'sharl apart from its neighbors was its very peculiar people.

Who just so happened to be intelligence therapods. Who were also business savvy.

Business raptors.

The Dark Lord saw value in these beings, and had offered them the olive branch of servitude in lieu of a protracted military campaign to bring them to heel. He still expected treachery, however, historical documents reported that the Tiss'shar were cunning bastards, and it would be naïve to assume that every member of the Tiss'sharl League would bow to the Empire's demands. Which is why he had commanded that [member="Darth Lykos"] and [member="Darth Ophidia"] to shadow the Empire's proceedings while Carnifex and [member="Darth Saarai"] carried out the negotiations.

Above the green marble emerged a small, but still awe inspiring, Sith-Imperial flotilla comprised of the Blade of Fate and several other lesser warships. From the belly of the command ship would emerge the Dark Lord's personal shuttle accompanied by smaller transports that would converge on the planet's capital. Upon landing they would be met with one of the League's members who bowed and addressed both Lord Zambrano and Lord Fa, and began to lead them to the central government building where the rest of the League would be waiting.

It was doubtful the trip would be a smooth affair.

Lord Depravious understood by this point in time exactly how [member="Darth Carnifex"] operated. Truthfully he was a lot more pleasant outside of battle than many other Dark Lords would have been especially to the Tiss'sharl League that he now was going to negotiate their annexation into the Sith Empire. Many Dark Lords of the Sith would have forced them to come to Bastion and bend the knee before all encumbrances of the Empire. Depravious also knew something else though, just how savage this man could be in the thick of it all which could mean one of two things. The Zambrano was truly trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and be polite, or he was lulling them into a false sense of confidence by allowing them to stay on their homeworld.

So it turned out that it was probably the latter of the two when he learned that [member="Darth Lykos"] and [member="Darth Ophidia"] would be shadowing the operation. All that Carnifex was doing was allowing them to bend the knee on their own world in front of all of their subjects instead of bringing them to Bastion. And if they chose not to? Lykos, Ophidia and the rest of the Sith that had been brought along would burn and pillage every single thing they held dear.

The Sith Lord sat upon the Blade of Fate carefully keeping an eye over the proceedings and waiting for the go ahead from Lykos and Ophidia for the complete and utter devastation of the planet. In reality they probably would only slaughter those who stood against Carnifex, but if he could Lord Depravious would massacre all who stood in his way - loyal or not.

Even the most simple of missions can end up being fun and exhilarating as long as enough blood is spilled. Though Lord Depravious was growing tired of having to tag along on these missions on the Blade of Fate so whilst he waited for the green light to begin the massacre his mind drifted off thinking of what type of ship he would attempt to procure for himself to follow along on these missions.. It just seemed rather unfitting for a Sith Lord to have to tag along in another, albeit powerful, Dark Lords ship.

Six hours earlier: [SA members, look here]

It was most important for any mission that its agents were properly informed. Therefore, a secondary document had been issued to the assassins involved. One only they were privy to. Inside this secondary document was information about individuals and locations that may pose a threat to the Sith delegates and needed to be watched or pre-emptively taken out without anyone’s notice.

"Tiss’sharl: the next item on the Empire’s scheduled expansion. We expect little resistance, but imperial forces and the Sith Brotherhood are prepared to engage should diplomacy fail. This you should already know thanks to the Empire’s notice. However, you are Sith Assassins, and your mission is to smother any dissent in its infancy. Do not underestimate the Tiss’shar: They are well known for their skills of subterfuge. Areas and individuals of interest have assigned to you, to maximise our efficiency. Everywhere, and nowhere.

[You can pick and make up your own placement and targets.]

Location: Dark Lord’s Shuttle -> Council Chambers
Objective: Make sure no one touches the Dark Lord or the Lord Inquisitor.

She had been quiet throughout their journey, the ashen skinned assassin set to watch over the Dark Lord and the Lord Inquisitor. in case someone or something managed to sneak through their security network. Honestly, she would have preferred being out there and taking them down herself, but she needed to make sure that this went off without a hitch. In the off chance that someone did get through, she was one of those most equipped to deal with it.

She had worked closely with both [member="Darth Carnifex"] and [member="Darth Saarai"] previously. One she had served with on the Dark Council and slain a man who was thought a god. The other, she had aided in stabilising slavery on Ryloth for a time. Both ought to know she was serious about her work.

All the way from the spaceport to the council chambers, she walked behind the two chosen diplomats. Her hands were clasped behind her back and her eyes ever watching. Watchers fed her information from every angle, and she knew the Sith Assassins were at work in stabilising the region. She was not the only one assigned to the security detail either. Darth Lykos' own apprentice was present, and then there was whatever the dark lords wished to bring for company.

The Blood Fiend,
Above Tiss'Sharl.

Silence was all that festered within the corvette Venthis sat aboard his pilot guiding them through hyperspace until they popped out into space along with the rest of the fleet along with the Blade of Fate. Though the vessel Venthis was on, would seemingly shift and depart away from the rest of the collection.

Krrnk.

The doors slid open within the cockpit to reveal the Sith Acolyte stood with his arms behind his back. The pilot would leave the controls and dip his head immediately, before sliding back into his original position. A short dip of Venthis' head would be given in return. Before he would take a step forward into the cockpit, with the doors sealing behind him.

The Sith Asassins were overseeing that the negotiations on the planet were to go smoothly. They had paired Venthis with another operative under the Assassins. Though they would work together to complete the task handed to them. "Bring up the mission report." Venthis ordered before the holoprojector would show a hooded figure read out the following:

"You are to infiltrate Fort Uxaar, it is believed to be where the foundations for an attack out of retaliation is to planned against The Sith Empire. Infiltrate the compound, and ensure there is no chance of them ruining our plans." With that, it would cut out. It seemed straightforward. The orders would be forwarded to his partner for the operation.

With that, Venthis would flick his hand towards the planet before the cockpit's wide front window. Signalling the pilot to head down to the planet. Venthis made his way out of the cockpit, to collect his weapons.

Post I

"A planet of walking handbags. Why am I here?" The Zabrak questioned himself, something he rarely ever did. He always had a motive behind all that he did. Perhaps the possibility of an attack on the Dark Lord is what brought him here. Or maybe he, somehow, figured this would be the best time and place to make a name for himself in the Sith Empire. Whatever his reasoning was, he had already forgotten.

Sutrok was aboard one of the many shuttles that was descending onto the planet's surface. He looked out of the viewport, scanning the capital city to get an idea of the layout should anything occur that would require his particular form of attention. The shuttle landed smoothly and, once the doors were open. the zabrak stepped off the shuttle and removed his hood from his head. "Hmm." Sutrok hummed as he began walking down a path that led away from the others. While on the shuttle, he spotted something that he wanted to inspect further. He was sure that the Dark Lord had an efficient guard detail and that he was not needed. Sutrok would have to be on his best behavior to not embarass the Dark Lord, also. And that he would.

He'd try to, at least.

Location | Aboard personal ship, in orbit
Objective | Ensure fealty is given to the Sith Empire
Company | Bridge Crew

The hulking armored figure of Kor Vexen stands in the center of the bridge his arms crossed in front of his chest as he stood with a regal posture, watching from the viewport as they made their way through hyperspace to the rendezvous with the bulk of the fleet. A few moments pass as the light of hyperspace slips away, the infinite black of space with the planet Tiss'sharl in the center. The ship slowly drifts forward, several ships to the starboard and port moving on ahead. The ship would slow to a halt, as it held in orbit. Vexen would turn, his arms moving away from his chest as he flicks out his cape to make it have a dramatic flourish as he turns to exit the deck.

The situation was fairly simple, ensure that the Tissh 'sharl League joined the Sith Empire's territories. However, the briefing also stated that they were a crafty bunch, and there was a high chance that they may attempt to underhand the Sith. If they were smart, they would not be so bold or foolish to try and undermine the iron fist that was the Sith Empire, but sometimes ambition and independence created foolish thoughts. Whatever may come to pass, Vexen was only there to ensure things had gone smoothly. He was simply there to provide additional security to the public detachment that comprised of [member="Darth Carnifex"] and [member="Darth Saarai"], though they would be likely among the last two Sith to need protection.

Vexen would board a shuttle as it made its way down to the surface, simply adhering to his duties as little more than a bodyguard in the event that something had gone wrong. Stealth and subterfuge were not his forte which is why he left that task to his peers that better worked from the shadows and behind the scenes. As his shuttle landed, Vexen would immediately disembark as the ramp was lowered, trailing a short distance away from both the Darths that had begun to enter the Tissh'sharl League's capitol. Vexen would have the palm of his left hand resting on the hilt of his lightsaber that was attached to his belt, much like that of a knight on parade in a different galaxy of older times, the other hand swinging with each step as he followed after.

Location: Dark Lord's Shuttle - Council Chambers

As he exited the shuttle, the Sith threw a glance at the sky. The Blade of Fate was so large as to be clearly visible up there floating beyond the edge of the planet's atmosphere. This ship alone had enough firepower to turn the city into a molten wasteland, and she wasn't even the only vessel up there. It was important that the Tiss'shar understood what the Sith's best alternative to negotiated agreement, or rather, in this case, submission, was: it wasn't to leave their planet be and continue to buy their products, perhaps at a reduced price. It was to bomb their planet back into a pre-industrial age from which they would emerge again in no less than a century's time, if ever. Regrettable it would be, of course. The planet was prosperous and productive and would make for an exceedingly valuable addition to the Empire. Despite their aggressive nature, the Tiss'shar had managed the feat of developing a culture that simultaneously provided an outlet for their violently ambitious nature while establishing the basis for a thriving economy: you were allowed, by the norm of the culture if not the law, to have your rival assassinated, but not to break a contract you made with him. Assassination could be dealt with by bodyguards and insurance, but trust in contracts was a priceless tool for economic development whose lack was difficult to compensate for. That was the main reason why Tiss'sharl was this unusual jewel in the Outer Rim with its many backwater planet where nobody trusted anybody. Not that anybody on Tiss'sharl trusted anybody else, either, but they only didn't trust each other not to have each other assassinated.

Jartris' worry was that these reptiles might not understand that you didn't try to assassinate a Sith, no matter how much he inconvenienced you, unless you were a Sith yourself. It just wasn't a course of action that ever led to an improvement over what would have happened otherwise. Hopefully, the situation wouldn't escalate and end in the destruction of the planet. A dead council of Tiss'sharl, to be replaced with another or abolished altogether, might, on the other hand, not be the worst outcome.

As part of the entourage of the Dark Lord himself, Jartris expected to do little talking today, with [member="Darth Carnifex"] and [member="Darth Saarai"] present to handle the negotiations themselves. He was here because he was knowledgeable about the society and etiquette of the Tiss'shar, and the minds of sentients in general, an advisor to observe and be silent when he was not needed. He wasn't quite decided whether he should be honoured or disappointed by this. He also didn't quite like the spotlight this position put him into, but it did hold much potential - if his competence came to the Dark Lord's attention, it would be a step towards achieving a position of greater influence in which he could shape the fate of society much more directly than his limited power as a publisher afforded him through the written word.

Location: Tiss’sharl.
Objective: Eliminate.

One would think the “peaceful” annexation of a world would go off without shots fired and blades drawn; that was not the case. The only difference was the silencer dampening the bang and flash of the muzzle, and the cloak shading the dagger from the glaring light. It was war fought in homes and back alleys.

‘Kar-Le-Ont; local spice magnate and crime lord. Leader of the Kruv-ari syndicate, known for the black stripes they wear. He is Isk-ar; an albino. He may be easy to spot, but he will not be easy to reach. Kar-Le-Ont has been open about his isolationist views, preferring to be the only one dealing with aliens. As such, he looks at the Sith Imperium with no favour at all. He and his black stripes will make hell for any alliance we set up. That is why he and his entire syndicate must disappear. Darth Banshee and Darth Filiae will infiltrate his fortress and exterminate the threat by any means necessary. Yet, the Sith cannot be seen slaughtering Tiss’Shar on the eve of annexation: Discretion is paramount.’

That was the mission assigned to them: Break in and break necks.

After making landfall, Darth Filiae had taken a speeder on a wide route that finally took her to a building across the street to Kar-Le-Ont’s fortress: A shady tenant building, probably full of Kurv-ari members. Slung across her shoulder was a hard case, a hat pulled down over her head, brim covering most of her face, and a cape draped around her shoulders that made people want to look away.

Ready to climb the tower. Banshee, are you in position?

She spoke into the com-unit in her cybernetics, set to a secure channel between herself and [member="Darth Banshee"] .The Chiss stared at the door, waiting for the stars to align. Missions like these required timing and swiftness.

The Sith Lord Shaidin Kamari folded his hands behind his back on the observation deck of the Dark Lords ship. He wasn't fully aware of all of the plans that had been set in place by the Dark Lord and his Dark Council; however, he knew that any Sith directly involved with the initial mission would inevitably succeed in the task that had been set before them by the Dark Lord. Shaidin had only briefly met the man and aside from that only seen him in battle, but he knew that [member="Darth Carnifex"] was not a man whom you wanted to fail. He definitely wasn't the type of Sith that would accept failure in any form.

Regardless of all that though, Lord Depravious folded his arms behind his back firmly grasping his left wrist in his right hand. He turned and began to walk off of the observation deck giving a brief nod to the commanding officer on deck before passing him by. The black armor around his body clanked with each foot step as he made his way off of the observation deck and into the upper levels of the warship.

Lord Depravious was headed to the council chambers up the Dark Lords Ship in order to meet with [member="Darth Lykos"] and [member="Darth Ophidia"] . He had a few ideas on how they could speed matters up and ensure that the world was secured entirely for the Sith Empire. Of course none of this would happen without the express approval of the Dark Lord; however, while these business raptors were quite the cunning backstabbers themselves, the cunning backstabbing types are always the first to tuck tail and run when someone confronts them with true strength.

The Sith had already brought a decently sizeable fleet, one that the Tiss'shar could in no way fight against even if they wanted to; however, if the leadership saw the masses on the planet surface bowing down to the power of the Sith - they would soon follow.

Upon entering the council chambers on the Dark Lords ship he didn't find Ophidia whom he expected to be in there and at first glance didn't see [member="Darth Lykos"] either. Strange as he had believed that they would both be on the Dark Lords ship awaiting the command to begin the decimation of the planet. Who knows though, perhaps negotiations were going well on the planet surface. The Sith Lord quietly smirked to himself as the thought ran through his mind.

After a brief read of how the Tiss'shar do business and knowing how the Dark Lord is as a Sith it would inevitably end in failed negotiations and the Sith would be required to bring the population to heel before their magnificent power.

Objective: Observe, for now

It had taken Leliana some time after Mirial, before she could return to being active amongst the Sith Assassins and the Empire once more. The events that had transpired on that planet had marked the young woman, literally. The glowing symbol had since died down, left dormant as nothing more than a simple tattoo on the back of her left hand. The palm and fingers still retained some of the burn scars, albeit a lot lighter than they had been when she had first grabbed the forge shard.

Now it was covered, wrapped in a soft black fabric matching her usual outfit. Precisely tied around her hand and wrist, keeping her fingers free.

Every now and then, she could feel it burning, calling to her to use it. Her brown eyes flickering amber in those instances. Its influence had since died down, thanks to the efforts of her master; [member="Darth Ophidia"] and [member="Cerbera"], the alchemist that had technically caused it. They still weren't a hundred percent certain what exactly the mark was capable of, but the experiments had produced interesting results.

Today however, it would hopefully not be needed. The Sith Assassins had been called to assist the Empire in their talks with the Tiss'shar. Intelligence had been gathered and the assassins would be dispatched to be positioned in certain areas, ready to help should the negotiations fail and chaos erupts. But they were also there to ensure certain elements were culled before they could ever become a problem.

As such, the assassins had either been paired up or placed in small groups. Each given their own objective to track and hunt. Leliana had joined up with [member="Ra'a'mah"] following a Tiss'shar called Tu'kal'chin. He was deeply involved with their military, and was for the most part one step below taking charge. What had alerted the Sith however, was the fact he had been openly vocal about his dislike for them.

That had raised a red flag, and had him under an immediate watch.

Presently, Leliana and Ra were moving through a marketplace, browsing through the various stalls like any other outsider or tourist that were visiting. An act like any other, as their attention was focused on their target. And they weren't the only ones pretending either. Tu'kal'chin was in the market with the supposed intent of looking to buy something for his wife, yet the two assassins had received word that he was in fact meeting someone.

Who exactly that was, was currently unknown.

Objective: Observe and follow Tu'kal'chin

Ra was familiar with how to blend in with people, not stand out or draw unwanted attention to herself. If she needed to, she could even totally disappear. That was a skill almost any assassin learned early on. It wasn't needed yet and the two women followed their quarry, appearing to look around at the various items and wares that were on sale in the market.

Their assignment was to simply observe the actions of one Tiss'shar, Tu'kal'chin that had spoken rather loudly against them. To gather vital information about him, who he saw, what he bought and even what he ate would go into a record of his activities. It was in her nature having once been intelligence to use the skills she learned there and mentally file details away and remember them.

Holding up a bag, Ra held it against her side and pretended to actually be interested in how it looked. Tu'kal'chin was still within her line of sight and if he even noticed, it would look just like she was trying to portray, a woman looking at a bag. He kept on with his advance until coming to another stall. There he stopped to make conversation, but the distance was too far she couldn't hear what was said.

Nodding to Leliana, she set the bag down and went to move up to the next booth in the market. Hoping her companion took the hint, she waited to see if she would follow or move to the stall to see if she could hear what was being spoken.

Objective: Business

The Sith were coming, the Sith were coming! Those lobsters, dressed in all red and black were here to intimidate and force the Tiss’shar to capitulate.

Or so were the cries of many talk show holo hosts and isolationist protesters. Tonith-Damask however, expected this move for quite some time. It was not in the Sith’s nature to let nearby resources go to waste, and while Tiss’sharl could be a treacherous place, those with good business sense could make quite the living here. The boost to the Sith Empire’s economy would be significant, at least as significant as any single world could be. Tiss’sharl might not have been the Core or the Corporate Sector, but it was close as you could get to either without actually being there. Not to mention you didn’t have to deal with the reconstruction efforts of say, Coruscant.

“They’re here sir.” Branch Manager Ack-Tu-Chal spoke through an encrypted holocall to Scipio.

“Hmm. I didn’t think they’d make a move for another month.” Mars Tonith replied, not currently on world. “Still, we knew they were coming. Are the proposals ready?”

“Our packages are going through a final QC check now. They should be done in about fifteen minutes.” Ack-Tu-Chal replied. “Shall I make contact with the Empire?”

“Proceed. I will be exiting hyperspace sometime in the next six hours to join you, but until then you’re cleared to handle negotiations. Remember, they respect power and little else. Do not underplay.” Mars commanded.

“Yes sir.” Ack-Tu-Chal replied, before closing the call. “Ra-Fu-Lea. Make a call to the Sith Ambassadors and let them know Tonith-Damask wishes to make them an offer.” He ordered, and the secretary got to work making the necessary calls. It probably wouldn’t reach the like of [member="Darth Carnifex"] or his personal guard, as they had to deal with the Tiss’sharl League, but they’d have somebody on deck for him to talk to.

And it was time to talk.

She had managed to negotiate with the people who opposed the empire rule, and persuade them she was trying to find way to rid serenno of the empire rule. This gave them common ground, but of course it was a lie, but it was conniving enough. She had arrived not wearing armour, nor did she have weapons. She had two palace guards with her, they too had no weapons or armour, as was no point, as they be searched, and found and confiscated. She got one message before she just setting off, it was from the sniper who made her a cybernetic lab, she replied Yes I am in postion, but ditching coms know, as they be confiscated anyway. She then head ditched it, and moved into building, as soon as she got to designated meeting point, she was faced with raptors. They pointing blasters at her, and said Over there and put your hands on the wall, and spread em! She complied, these where not the target these where merely grunts. The moved the hand over her body, and scanned it for good measure. Then the leader of bunch said Blindfold them, she did not resist, and near did her guards. She used the force to see through the blindfold, she then made mental notes of where she was. They began taken her up the tower, and occasionally spinning them, in an attempt disoriented them. Though the Sith Assassins already knew the meeting point, this was to make sure they got the leader. Soon she was in put a room, and blindfold taken off. She used the force to scan surface emotions, as she could not press any way find out was in charge. She sat down, and her guards sat behind her. The curtains where drawn, she needed them open. She then sent a message to her would be sniper, using the force I am in the room, I not yet found out who leader is. Also can you sense me, and use me as a reference for shot? She was not nervous, she kinda found this exhilarating.

The communication from [member="Mars Tonith"] was immediately directed to the fleet above Tiss'sharl and routed directly to the Blade of Fate where the Sith Lord Depravious sat in the council chambers. Without any other faction leadership to direct it to a message came into the council chambers on the ship informing them that the Branch Manager of a Tiss'sharl bank was requesting communication from the Sith Empire.

"A message has been received from the Branch Manager - should we wait for [member="Darth Carnifex"] or should we patch the communication through?"

"Patch it through, I will take the conversation and negotiate on behalf of the Sith Empire"

Lord Depravious, even though for the longest time he had been a bloodthirsty warrior only after destruction and blood nothing else was rather business savy and had controlled his own Empire for years before joining the current Sith Empire. The image of those seeking to communicate was pulled up in the center console of the council chambers of the Dark Council. Lord Depravious stood his hands folded behind his back and his black armor clasped around his body. His face was stern and his crimson fiery eyes watched as the image flickered into being. He knew that these bankers were only out for self preservation - and if they could make a quick credit off of the Sith then they would in a heart beat.

"Greetings, you are wishing to discuss business with us?"

“Sir, they’re returning our hail.” Ack-Tu-Chal’s secretary spoke, and the Tiss’shar let out a happy growl.

“Put him on screen in my office.” Ack-Tu-Chal replied, and the secretary nodded. The display shown was some sort of bridge or council chamber, in one of battleships above orbit perhaps. A human, or human-enough man centered the view, clad in jet black plate mail that provided little contrast to the shade of his hair. What was most unsettling about his visage however was his eyes, their hue was an unnatural crimson. Some sort of modification perhaps, or the rumors of Force Use “corrupting” oneself were true.

“Yes. We are greatly satisfied that you came here before the Silver Jedi did. My world profited greatly under the Old Sith Empire, and I expect your negotiations with the Tiss’sharl League to go well. As it happens our bank has been planning for your arrival and we believe we can aid your government greatly. We have completed a proposal to bid for the Sith Empire’s 503(k) plans, giving competitive rates for the best wealth management in the outer rim, allowing your employees to feel comfortable about their retirement opportunities. If you’ll provide a frequency I can send our proposal, which I’m sure you’ll find enticing.”

[member="Lord Depravious"] probably wouldn’t find it enticing, truth be told. But there was a value and price to everything under the sun. Allowing Tonith-Damask to invest for the Sith Imperial Staff was one less headache for them, and allowed them to focus on what they were good at. Conquering, subjugation, and the accumulation of power.

Objective: Aggressive Negotiations.

Tiss'sharl was known to him.

A world of cutthroat politics and business, the Tiss'shar had made it their business to be respected and sought-after for both their industrial capacity and their business sense. They had all discussed how to best approach this world, before coming here. Some had wished for complete destruction to show their might, glassing and genocide, but that was a waste of resources and both Caecus as well as Saarai had made their own opinions clear on this particular note.

There was nothing to gain from destroying Tiss'sharl and everything to lose.

"They look hungry." Lord Fa commented absent-mindedly as they descended down the ramp. "Perhaps I should have let Vulgrim take my place here."

He didn't care.

It was one of the qualities the Thirriken possessed; he didn't take things personally and never lost his cool. But the time of contemplation was over, instead it was the time for negotiations.

The Tiss'shar, Fee-Ed-Er, bowed deeply before the two Sith Lords. At least there was that, even if all his attention went to the towering Dark Lord next to the small, diminutive peacock. That suited him just fine, the less attention was give to him? The better it would be for the eventual negotiations, when they weren't expecting him.

"An honor, Lord of the Sith, would you please follow me? Your pet may come with, if that is your desire."

Tai tilted his head a fraction.

The image of the Tiss'shar was projected within the council chambers. As expected the branch manager had an offer for him that they believed the Sith Empire could not refuse. These business men had a predatory instinct when it came to dealing with money. The amusing thing to Lord Depravious was that his predatory instinct was, at least in his mind, far greater then anything they could muster up with their petty numbers games they enjoyed playing.

He reached out - without a word at first - and simply opened up the channel for them to send the proposal through to. This time when he spoke it was with less respect, his voice grew dark and through the holocrecoding seemed almost distorted to the Tiss'shar.

"Before you send your proposal through, take a moment to think over exactly what you are sending us. I'm sure you've heard of the bloodshed this recent Sith Empire has caused, and of the man that is currently leading us.. [member="Darth Carnifex"] , does not take lightly to absurd offers. As you said before, we are not the Silver Jedi Order, we will not politely take your absurd offer and allow you to skewer us with fees and pull smoke over our faces while we happily parade around on our own planets. We are Sith and with that comes certain terms and stipulations."

His eyes were indeed an un-natural shade of crimson, even in terms of the Sith the corruption and darkness within this man ran deep, and so did his pride.

"If you need a moment to revise the retirement plans to something you think we will deem as 'enticing' and suitable for the members of our order I would suggest you take it."

The Sith Lords voice was menacing and resolute - the Tiss'shar were either going to realize that the Sith didn't bring a small fleet to simply walk onto the world and negotiate, or they were going to be forced to bend the knee. Depravious was more than willing to work with them on exact numbers, but he knew that any initial offer would be nothing but farce and an attempt to pull the wool over the Empires eyes. He would-not-have-it.

Objective: Secure Assets.

Days prior to the arrival of the Dark Lord's flotilla had dropped into real space above the planet of Tiss'sharl, even before the words and orders of the Pale Assassin were reaching the Assassins both scattered within the Sith Empire and without, the Shadows were already preparing to wrap their tendrils of power around the Tiss'shar; to be more precise, the Tiss'sharl League. After all, even as the news show upon the holonet hosted isolationists and those that simply held a dislike of the Sith, their words of decrying the Sith echoed wide and far - stirring both rebellion against the looming threat of the Sith and fear at what their suffering might be - the traditions and common actions of the Tiss'shar had not been interrupted. Lives were lost and livelihoods ruined as political figures still strove to claim for themselves a seat upon the League. That greed, that ambition, was simply the perfect weakness to exploit and manipulate.

It was due to that weakness being so openly displayed above even fear and the sparks of planned anarchism should the Sith seize the planet and bring it under their banner that The White Assassin found himself stalking after one particular Tiss'shar with a hungered gleam in his eye. Even if the Tiss'shar as a whole possessed no generalised stereotype of which could be used to group them as a whole and simply possessed members that were accomplished assassins and politicians, then Ru-Xutre-Luun himself would, perhaps, actually serve as a stereotype of those assassins and politicians that the species. Polite, well-mannered and well received by the masses for the simple fact that many saw him as someone that they could manipulate in public, Ru-Xutre-Luun was much more cutthroat not just behind closed doors (even there he played his role), but, instead, behind layers of security and checks as well as closed doors. Manipulative and vicious, Ru-Xutre-Luun had been carefully working his way up through the ranks of power while letting others think that they were the ones positioning him. By now, he was a few simple steps beneath a position upon the Tiss'sharl League. But, now, it was time for his patron to receive payment.

As such, as Ru-Xutre-Luun engaged the security systems of his home, his spine would straighten as a low, rumbling growl would echo out of the shadow. Primal in nature, feral in its cold fury, the growl seemed to resonate within the room and shudder within the Tiss'shar's chest as he turned around to face the source of the noise. What greeted him was a sight that was both familiar and, yet, terrifying to the reptile. A single, amber, slitted eye was staring out of the shadows of the room; shadows being cast by the setting sun, forming long and deep pockets of dusk as it flooded in through the west facing window. Barely visible was the outline of a humanoid, even if said outline was distorted by what Ru-Xutre-Luun knew to be heavy cloth set in such a way that it achieved that specific effect. However, while the outline of the being was barely visible, what was held was easily so. Cast in a yellowed hue as it caught the sun, the blade that was directed towards him gleamed a deadly light.

Turning on the lights with a stuttered flick of his wrist, the reptile glared at the reveal form of Darth Lykos, that infernal growl still rumbling out form the back of the Iridonian's throat. Despite his fear, despite the blade pointed in his direction, when Ru-Xutre-Luun spoke, his voice was level and direct; a testament to his skills in obscuring his true thoughts and emotions from his voice. "And what, might I ask, has lead to you joining me this night, my friend?"

"Payment." As he spoke, the growl did not subside, but, the sword was sheathed as Lykos stepped away from the wall he had been stood against. He paid no mind to the window he was passing in front of as he already knew it to be one-way and designed to prevent thermal imaging. Supposedly, Ru-Xutre-Luun had installed it to protect his private life from reporters, but, Lykos knew very well that the truth was a tad more sinister. He had assisted in that sinister truth from time to time after all - he would not have been very responsible if he allowed his investment to falter and fail. "You were guided, aided. But, now it is time for the dept to be paid."

"Oh? And what is it that you'd have me do, Blaidd?" Lykos had not been foolish enough to reveal his name or title nor had Ru-Xutre-Luun been foolish enough to believe that the name he had been given was in any way correct. At the same time, he had been wise enough to pry and hunt for the truth that was not meant for him. "I do hope that it would not be stressful. You do know that it has been recently been announced my body is weakened and frail from illness, no?" As the Tiss'sharl spoke this, the closet thing to a smirk pulled at his snout, a gesture that Lykos momentarily shared with him.

"It is time for the Sith to act. It is time for you to take a seat upon the League. Ke-Trel-Ul will be suffering an unfortunate answer later this night. As his protege, you will take his seat on the League. Understood?"

Reaching to his neck, Ru-Xutre-Luun brushed the odd scar that decorated a scale. Or, rather, the symbol that many thought of as simply an odd scar. He and the Iridonian with him knew better. After all, it had been the Sith that had branded him with the mark, a tiny array of Sith Runes designed to ensure loyalty. If it had not been at his expense, the Tiss'shar would have enjoyed learning and employing such security meassures himself. As it was he knew that he could not do so less his true patron, the man he knew as Blaidd and not Ke-Trel-Ul (who had been fooled into believing that he was getting away from utilising Ru-Xutre-Luun to engineer fatalities for his opponents without it being traced back to him), would see it as him attempted to turn back upon their deal and decide that it was worth more starting from scratch than reigning in a troublesome asset.

In many ways, Ru-Xutre-Luun respected the Sith for all that he had done to him and, as such, when that question was posed, there was but one answer. "Understood."

Darth Gvibr
Location: Approaching Council Chambers
Objective: Aid [member="Darth Ophidia"] in the protection of [member="Darth Carnifex"] and [member="Darth Saarai"]

Days later, after Ke-Trel-Ul had been found dead of heart failure in the middle of the night and his protege Ru-Kutre-Luun had been accepted onto the League in his place (perceived by many on the League as an easily playable vote, unaware of the danger they had brought into their midst), the Sith forces marched towards the Council Chambers that housed the League. Just as Darth Ophidia - the Pale Assassin and Queen of Shadows - strode along side the pair of Lords, so did Darth Gvibr; and in much the same manner. Hands clasped behind her back, eyes flickering from side to side as she sought to pick out any potential threat, Gvibr mused on what had once been an offhand comment by Lykos - "It would seem that this stance is inheritable through teachings." Indeed, just as Ophidia had the habit of clasping her hands behind her back, so to did Lykos - the Rattataki's student - and now so did Gvibr.

Putting such thoughts out of her mind just as quickly as they had formed, Gvibr returned her attention to observing the whispers of the Force, paranoid and cautious for any warning of intent that may ring within the ethereal field, while her ashen grey eyes continued to flicker from building to building, window to window and shadow to shadow.

Mars Tonith

Banktankerous Muun
Post 3
Location: Tonith-Damask Building, Tiss'Sharl
Objective: Business

The Sith who spoke on the display was strong. Perhaps not as a warrior, Ack-Tu-Chal had no way of knowing, but he had a steelish discipline and resolve. His expression never faltered, and his unnaturally fiery eyes had a way of burning into you. Ack-Tu-Chal was convinced the man knew it, and used it as a tool. Regardless however, the Tiss’shar did not falter. Adding in hidden fees and pulling the wool over a customer’s eyes might have been a way to make a quick buck, but it was no way to run a business. Scorned customers had a way of ruining business, especially as quickly as information flowed nowadays. Ack-Tu-Chal also suspected that the Sith had a way of ending business and careers in a more permanent fashion.

“No additional time will be necessary. We have no plans of abusing those would bring order to the Outer Rim.” Ack-Tu-Chal replied, before clicking a few buttons and sending over the offer. The offer reviewed would be competitive, perhaps not the lowest in the galaxy, but it would be pretty darn close. The lawyers of the Sith would find no hidden fees or restrictions or favorable ways for the bank to terminate the contract.

“We understand that it may take some time for your people to completely review the offer. Would you prefer we remain on the line, or await your call?”

"Nonsense, Lord Fa," whispered the Dark Lord while simultaneously stifling a chortle, "Vulgrim may be an acceptable agent, but I would trust no one but you at my side in these matters."

Fee-Ed-Er greeted them as they arrived, his reptilian form bowing respectfully to the Dark Lord of the Sith. Carnifex in turn tilted his head in acknowledgement of the reverence on display, but waved away the formalities. "Stay the niceties, we are here for business. We need not burden ourselves with pomp and courtly procedures, as you can understand our schedules are tight. The quicker we come to a resolute conclusion the better it will be for all parties involved." The pet comment, however, did manage to elicit a chuckle from the Epicanthix. "It would be very remiss of me to leave [member="Darth Saarai"] on the ship, it would be a waste of his talents." Fee-Ed-Er bowed his head in compliance and perhaps embarrassment, and quickly beckoned for the Dark Lord and his ghastly entourage to follow him towards the League's Palace.

The thoroughfare leading from the landing pad to the Palace was fraught with multi-storied buildings concealing a wide range of vantage points from which to watch the procession, hiding holes for assassins to lay in wait until the moment was ripe. This may have frightened a lesser man, but the Dark Lord strode forward with bold purpose. His confidence was unwavering for he trusted the Sith Assassins to perform the task he had laid at their feet, and with the deathly beautiful [member="Darth Ophidia"] at his back he had never felt more secure. He idly cast a quick glance back at the gray-skinned Rattataki, the faint outline of a smile curling across his face before his eyes returned to the path ahead.
