A young woman in late twenties, Annika could be considered a very attractive woman. She takes great pride in her physical appearance, keeping herself well groomed and maintained. When on duty, her uniform is always up to standard, her boots and belt buckle polished good and proper. And when off-duty, she only dresses in the most expensive, exotic fashion, befitting an admiral of her wealth and prestige. Her long red hair is commonly tied back in a neat ponytail, and she'd usually wear a reasonable amount of make-up, black eyeliner and red lipstick included.
BIOGRAPHY:
Annika's military career started several years ago, amongst the ranks of the Core Imperial Confederation. Starting as a promising young cadet at the Imperial Academy, she excelled in her classes and studies, quickly earning a captaincy over a small Tartan-class Patrol Cruiser. Through a series of heroic victories and masterful tactics, she quickly rose through the ranks of the Imperial Navy, eventually becoming an admiral and being assigned command of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer "Scarlet Flame". When the Core Imperial Confederation collapsed, she and her fleet retreated into Wild Space.
Recently, however, Annika's fleet has returned to the core. Upon the recent reformation of the Republic, Annika, seeking a new home for herself and her troops, and respecting the cause of the Republic, offered the allegience of herself and her fleet. Her naval force was quickly reorganized and re-equipped into the 2nd Expeditionary Assault Fleet, while her former Stormtroopers joined the Grand Army of the Republic, being assigned to the 2nd Fleet as the 105th Shock Legion. While now loyal to the Republic cause, Admiral Zaarin and her forces have not lost their imperial style sense of strategy, and are known to be way more heavy handed and ruthless than other Republic forces.

Repainted with crimson Republic livery, it stands out amongst most other vessels of the Republic Navy due to it's original origins.
