Purified Zophis Crystal enables Laertia to better sense incoming lightsaber attacks by a small degree.
STRENGTHS
Length: It's default length is already 007 inches past the length of a standard blade. When extended in its secondary setting, the blade extends to fifteen inches past the length of an ordinary blade
Damage: The Refined Phobium Emitter enables the blade to stun a person if the intent is to injure. It also cuts through standard metals with frighteningly quick efficiency due to its powerful but unstable Zophis Kyber Crystal, in addition to the experimental power enhancement systems that allow it to actually form a blade
Wrench in the gears: A secondary setting that charges the blade with Ion particles allow it to do heavy damage to droids and machinery
Blade Breaker: The blade is so powerful it has a very high chance of breaking enemy lightsaber blades, overloading them to the point it can take up to three minutes for the other lightsaber to reboot

WEAKNESSES
Tight Spaces: Don't have an alley way fight scene using this. You'll have a bad day.
Paddle Beams: This blade attacts Paddle Beams rather then making them move around it. If they connect the blade shuts down for one minute.
Short-Out Risk: Prolonged activation periods have a slight risk of overheating. If it does, the blade shuts off and vents the heat through a built in sink in the emitter shroud. The process takes 007 seconds, during which the blade cannot be reactivated
Swing Speed: The gyroscopic effect generated by the blade's power systems, as well as the noticeable weight of the hilt itself, make it three times harder to swing correctly. This lowers Laertia's attack speed by more than half, in addition to requiring both hands to be kept on the blade to properly control it. It may actually be better to wear armor when using this blade then not to compensate for this weakness.
Blade Lock Requirement: In order to have its greater chance at breaking an enemy blade, it requires a blade lock be maintained for more than 007 seconds. If the blade lock is broken before that, another blade lock attempt must be made.
Sonics: Sonics will travel through the blade.
Slugs: Slugs will splash against it, inflicting proximity damage to the owner.
Water: Water Immersion will short out the blade.
Voids: If in a Force void, it loses the ability to better predict lightsaber attacks.
DESCRIPTION
This antique lightsaber, the only remnant of an Imperial Inquisitor from the Galactic Empire during the time of Luke Skywalker, passed through many hands over the years, from collectors, to Dark Jedi using the knowledge of the lightsaber as a path to power, until it ended up in The Private Storehouse aboard Themis's Starship Praxeum, The Ashla's Platter. Too unwieldy for those of Ordinary strength, Themis kept the relic as an example for her more melee oriented students to base their weapons off of.
There is much to be admired in the weapon. Its power and length are clearly meant for an aggressive duelist. Themis is of the opinion it was a specialty weapon for siege operations attacking multiple enemies at once or just a single, powerful enemy in a wide open battlefield while in full armor. Upon meeting her "Grand Daughter" Laertia, Themis was moved to gift the relic to her, knowing the warrior could not turn down such an excellent example of Saber Tech.
Upon receiving (albeit with immense wariness) the Blade, Laertia was convinced it was a Jedi turned Inquisitorious that constructed it, as opposed to a purpose recruited Adept by The Empire: It bears far too many similarities to the brutish, squarish designs of lightsabers created by the ancient Sith Marauders, which often employed experimental power systems in their blades the way this does. Only someone with a chance to study the blades up close, like a Clone Wars era Jedi might likely have at some point, would know how to properly emulate such a design, as most examples of Inquisitor Lightsabers are far more utilitarian, especially of that era.
