STRENGTHS

A death for every scenario: The Amalgam, strictly using the technology that would have been available at the time of the Royal TIE's creation, has ingeniously modified the cannons to deal out a variety of damage types. Standard mode fires normal laser cannons, other modes allow it to fire Ionic bolts, and it's fire rate can be changed from Standard to Burst to Linked for all settings. Lasers are good for all purpose engagements, Ion does terrific damage to Shields and equipment. They can be fired at either Standard Firing Rate, 007 shot burst, or Linked, which slows the firing rate

Ace Custom: Every single one of its flight controls has been customized intuitively to allow The Amalgam the smoothest, most responsive flight possible, able to react faster and more decisively than most fighter pilots in ships of similarly high quality. It's Hyperdrive has been modified to a whopping 0.1 drive and it's reactor has been modified for heavy duty power supply to all systems, with special focus on primary weapons and their various modes. It's Deflector Shield has been modified to regenerate extremely quickly

Deception: Possesses Highly modified Sensor Decoys capable of fooling even the most modern ship scanners, and the fighter itself has a masking system that makes it very difficult to detect even at close ranges. It also Posseses a comms array designed to send and receive heavily encrypted transmissions that are difficult to decode for outside forces. It possesses a special device capable of scrambling the IFF of even the most modern fighter, as well as a Transponder Code altering device capable of fooling even the most modern military grade computers. It's sensor masking system has been modified to allow it to operate near even the most sensitive ship scanners and sensors without being detected for very long periods.

Agility: This thing has the ability to Maneuver like a fly

Speed: It is capable of competing with even the most modern Starfighter

Chase Me!: A rear facing Solar Ionization Cannon frustrates attempts to chase it

WEAKNESSES

Overheat: Firing the Lasers in linked mode, increases distance but will overheat if fired more than 14 seconds, as well as slows the rate it is fired at

Back cannon power drain: When firing it's rear facing cannon, it cannot fire it's frontal weapons and it slows down in speed and reduces in Maneuverability while rear cannon fires.

Burst weaknesses: Firing the Weapons in Burst cuts the weapon range in half

Shield Vulnerable: As long as the Deflector Shield hasn't been completely depleted it regenerates quickly. Once completely depleted however, it takes up to 007 minutes for it to recharge fully

Sensor Mask Recharge: The Sensor Masking system can only be active for 007 minutes

DESCRIPTION

The Antique Royal Guard TIE is one of The Amalgam's most prized possesions, a genuine Royal Guard TIE from the days of Darth Sidious, personally modified by The Amalgam after her re-emergence in this era. As intact, mint condition fighters from that era are extremely rare, The Amalgam almost felt heretical in modifying it at all, but prided herself in using only the technology from that era to stay true to the spirit of the craft and get the abilities she wanted. The Amalgam is a major Starfighter Enthusiast, and while this is far from her only fighter, it is definitely among her most preferred, as it is as lethally adaptable as she is.

Remove the Rating: Very High and just place Defenses: Very High instead. Easier on us and try to remove some of the clutter double spacing.


  • Balancing Act: If being chased, and the decision is made to fire the rear facing Ionization Cannon, Primary weapons are momentarily disabled. Also, settings can't be switched until the weapon Battery has fully recharged, and the Ammo Pool, Fire Rate, Range and Recharge can vary heavily between Settings:

    Laser/Ion (Standard): 300 Shots, Average Laser it Ion Damage, Average Range, Average Fire Rate, Low Recharge Rate

    Laser/Ion (10 Shot Burst): 200 Shots, Very Low Laser or Ion Damage, Low Range, Extreme Fire Rate, High Recharge Rate

    Laser/Ion (Linked): 20 shots, Extreme Laser or Ion Damage, High Range, Low Fire Rate, Very Low Recharge Rate

    Cryonic/Incendiary (Standard): 100 Shots, Very High Cryo or Incendiary Damage, Very Low Range, Average Fire Rate, Very Low Recharge Rate

    Cryonic/Incendiary (10 Shot Burst) 50 Shots. High Cryo or Incendiary Damage, Average Range. Extreme Fire Rate, Very Low Recharge Rate

    Cryonic/Incendiary (Linked): 25 Shots, Extreme Cryo or Incendiary Damage, Low Range, Very Low Fire Rate, Very Low Recharge Rate

    Particle Beam/Charric (Standard): 40 Shots. Very High Explosive or Energy/Kinetic Damage, Average Range, Very Low Fire Rate, Very Low Recharge Rate

    Particle Beam/Charric (10 Shot Burst): 20 Shots. Very High Explosive or Energy/Kinetic Damage. Very Low Range, Extreme Rate of Fire, Very Low Recharge Rate

    Particle Beam/Charric (Linked): 10 Shots. Extreme Explosive or Energy/Kinetic Damage, Extreme Range, Very Low Rate of Fire, Very Low Recharge Rate

    Concussive/Electric (Standard): Sixty Shots. High Concussive or Electric Damage, High Range. Average Rate of Fire, Very Low Recharge Rate

    Concussive/Electric (10 Burst.): 40 Shots. Average Concussive or Electric Damage. Low Range. Extreme Rate of Fire. Very Low Recharge Rate

    Concussive/Electric (Linked): 20 Shots. Extreme Damage. Average Range, Very Low Fire Rate. Very Low Recharge Rate

    Seismic: Seismic weapons are capable of brutally damaging the hull, and wrecking the shielding

    Pulse Wave: Pulse Wave Weapons badly damage it's hull and may compromise life support

    Ion: Ion weapons shut down it's shielding for two minutes, and cause it's speed and Maneuverability to drop to low, and it's weapons to average rating

    Kinetic: A rail gun round will shred it's protection easily

    Broadside: It's larger side profile and blind spots make it an easier target to hit from the side

    Hyperdrive: After two uses in a row, the user must wait 21 minutes before the Hyperdrive recharges safely. One use means waiting 007 minutes.
All this extra weaknesses that I have listed, is to be removfed. None of this is needed. Try some other weaknesses.

Primary Laser Cannons Modified to fire multiple types of Energy, such as Cryonic, Ionic, Incendiary, Particle Beam, Charric, Concussive and Electricity, in various firing types
This amount of changes I recommend making a technology submission that does this...right now, I am not allowing this as no technology so far exists to do all of this. Please change things that reflect this.

After this is dealt with, we can move onto other steps.
