Biography
Antoine Rhys was born to a wealthy family on Corellia. His mother died during childbirth, making him an only child. His father soon remarried another woman for whom Antoine cared little for as he grew up. Although love was not a strong thing in his family cell, his father spared no money on his education, believing he had the potential to one day take over the family ore mining business. Antoine, however, had other plans.
Growing up, Antoine soon discovered that he was great at manipulating people, talking to them to get what he wants. What he usually wanted were things that would give him a comfortable hedonistic lifestyle. He preferred to spend his free time in parties of the flesh, was a well-known patron of various brothels, and had a way with the men, the ladies, and anything else. When he graduated with top honors from the Corellian Academy, his father put him in the family business anyway. Antoine went with it, biding his time.
When Antoine’s father died, Antoine pulled every string he could to make sure his father’s wife and her children got nothing. It took bribery, threats, and a few blaster shots, but eventually he succeeded, and the wife and her children were tossed to the streets. He doesn’t know what they’re up to nowadays, and he doesn’t really care either. His father’s business was sold for millions of credits, and decided to take a year off from everything.
During that year, he happened to stumble across some interesting findings regarding his biological family and their roots, and decided a change in his life was needed.
Antoine decided to keep his mostly hedonistic life, but with a minor change; he now had a goal. To complete that goal, after a little research, he decided to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
