---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
+ Anya is proficient in the ways of the Force, or Sciia as the Eldorai call it. Her speciality is fire, specifically the ability to transfer heat to a touched object, often enough to make it combust or burn.
+ Anya is intelligent and has a brilliant mind for organisation and logistics. This has only been enhanced by working with Tegaea Alcori for almost ten years as aide and confidential secretary. She is also a highly skilled linguist and writer, the result of her education.
+/- As an Eldorai, Anya suffers from her race’s natural strengths and weaknesses. She is agile, long lived and resistant to disease. On the other hand she is also weaker than a human, more prone to fatigue and hunger and with a lower pain threshold.
- Anya’s skill in battle is more in a command capacity, and by using her Sciia. She is poor with any ranged weapons and only slightly skilled with a lightsabre. She can defend herself, but is no duellist or warrior.
- Anya is an exile, her heritage hidden from all but a handful. She is essentially alone in the galaxy, a stranger in a strange land. When she left Kaeshana she could bring nothing with her but a couple of trinkets. It was to her great fortune that she found Tegaea Alcori who assisted her. Despite this her position remains precarious as she is a threat to those in power on Kaeshana.

BIOGRAPHY:
Princess Anya Venari was born as the youngest daughter of Star Queen Tirathana VI and her consort Galdan during one of the last years of peace for the Eldorai. The younger by five years from her sister Silaqui, she was second in line for the throne. Anya received what might have been termed a ‘traditional’ upbringing for an Eldorai Princess, all the more fervent because the outside galaxy was beginning to challenge the status quo of the Eldorai people.
When slavers, traders and envoys started to arrive on Kaeshana, the Eldorai fell into two distinct categories based on how they viewed this. The first saw the outsiders as barbarians, as a threat which needed to be eliminated and a source of nothing positive. The second saw the outsiders as useful for their technology, even if ‘backward’ compared to the glorious Matriarchy. Silaqui fell into the first category, Anya into the second.
Growing up, Anya rarely openly challenged her tutors and family, but nor did she believe what they told her. Her mind was ever on the stars, away from the Byzantine politics and selfish struggles for power in the court. As she reached her 40s, the mid-teens for her kind she began to question fundamental beliefs and practices, but never openly. Rather, she learned to place a mask of obedience on top of her real feelings. Perhaps sensing this, her mother had her sent to train with the Angelii, for her Sciiac powers had begun to develop themselves. Even in the austere, Spartan surrounds of the Angelii barracks, Anya’s disillusionment only grew.
By the time she was sixty, the early 20s of the Eldorai, she began to give voice to her thoughts to those around her. For the only time in her life her intuition let her down, and she confided in her cousin Nalia Tadani, niece of the Star Queen. Nalia was a woman for whom cunning and ambition was all, and she saw that her claim to the throne might well be pressed in due time. Silaqui was an intellectual light-weight, more given to parties and excess than statecraft. Nalia was confident she could outmatch Silaqui when the time came, which left only Anya. Anya therefore was lured into complacency over several years of friendship to Nalia, disclosing all her fears and thoughts, which she thought her cousin understood.
However, it was all a ruse, and when Anya sought to uncover the truth of the Arithdae Codex she was betrayed by her cousin, who had secretly informed on her to the Queen. Anya learned the truth contained there, but at the cost of being caught by her mother. Angered, Tirathana exiled her youngest daughter for fifty years and struck her from the line of inheritance. Nalia, watching this, could only smile to herself. When her aunt died she had good reason to suspect that she would be Queen.
Exiled and set adrift into space, Anya arrived at the world of Fondor, an ironic chance considering her later movements. Overwhelmed by her dislocation from everything she had known, Anya fell into despair and would likely have ended up dead or lost were it not for the efforts of a certain Tegaea Alcori. Having used her last money to buy a passage to Coruscant, Anya was attacked once on world by the crew who wanted to enslave her for added profit. Using her Sciia she defeated them, but the then Captain Tegaea of the newly formed Dark Stars Mercenary Company came across her and befriended her. Tegaea could instantly see the woman was a strong Force user and brilliant at organisation and the academic pursuits that Tegaea herself lacked. Though Anya never confided her true identity Tegaea knew that Anya was no ordinary Eldorai, and knew she would reveal the truth when the time came.
And so with Tegaea, and later Siobhan Kerrigan, Anya’s destiny was linked. The founding of Omega Pyre, the transition to the Protectorate and all the struggles, triumphs and tragedies in between involved Anya, usually from a position behind Tegaea, her skills of organisation helping to ensure the Protectorate’s triumph.
Now though the issue of Kaeshana has come up again, and it is unclear whether the dispossessed Princess might once more claim her inheritance.
