Anyone interested in IC leadership roles?

We've got a flat command structure, very decentralized, lots of resistance cells and such, but that shouldn't stop you if any of you feel like playing a general or admiral or spymaster or whatever. I know people don't often feel like asking for that stuff, because it looks bad, but you know what else looks bad? Jorus being the only PC with General rank. So if rank is something that would be realistic and fun for your character at some point, post here and we'll see what we can do.

Eventually I'd like Sam to be a leader. Right now he is on the fence between smuggler and admiral-in-training.

I have no idea what Veino would do in a leadership position.

I see this more of a side thing...a group of people who just do what they do.

Andrasta would hate being labelled as a General, she'd find it confining. However maybe later she'll feel it. For now she's just a good for nothing smuggler who happens to be making a difference in the galaxy.

Running guns to be used against ebil people...it pays and she gets some form of moral vote off it.

I believe that a leadership Role Ina group like ths would be less of an official title like general or admiral and more of a segregated group type thing like rebellious cells or insulted groups. I se the underground as more a collection of like minded people standing up for their beliefs as opposed to a functioning force.

More like the old smugglers alliance with a bit more focus on doing the right thing

That's the general idea, yeah. It was the same way with the original Rebellion - lots of resistance cells, lots of decentralization, lone ships getting infrequent orders and otherwise doing their thing. Main bases were rare, mostly just one at a time - Dantooine, then Yavin, then Hoth - like we've got Rebellion Actual. They had admirals and generals, but in practice, those ranks were more about commanding bases and task forces than directing the entire Alliance as a coherent whole - which just wasn't possible.
