Anyone need a smuggler/bounty hunter/ slicer?

So I'm looking to get this guy started. He's kinda a rogue element but he's heard tales of the ferocity and loyalty of the Mandalorians, as well as how to make one's fortunes out in the rim as a smuggler. So I guess my question is can I get involved as both smuggler and be involved with the Mandalorians too? The Mandalorians had some great writers when they were bigger and I'd love to get back in touch with them with this character. I mainly want to be a part of multiple factions with a sort of wandering Malcolm Reynolds vibe where freedom is the real prize. So anyone able to help out with that?
