I'm a bit busy to be plunging into new threads at the moment, but if I may, what exactly are you looking for? Do you have any ideas on what you want your first RP to be about, where it's gonna be, who you might want to RP with, etc? Or are you open for whatever happens? If you have a specific plan or desire it's probably better to mention it first, and if you're just open to any RPing it might be worth your while to look around for a Public thread and start reading here and there. Find something that appeals to you and just post to it.
