Structures:
- 1 Cockpit, the area in which the navigational systems and central control of the ship's propulsion system lies. The Aobozu was constructed so that a single pilot is only needed to control most aspects of the vessel (with exception to control of turrets and finer control of other systems)
- 1 Crew Quarters, located adjacent to the cockpit, it houses the Aobozu's dedicated crew.
- 6 Modular Hangars, allowing for the Aobozu to be converted into numerous different types of roles, such as Dojos, Storage Bays, Residential Areas, or Hangar Bays, whether that be as a dedicated infantry carrier, a dedicated colony ship, or a heavy freighter.
- 4 Underside-Mounted Docking Clamps, allowing for the Aobozu to be hold four starfighters externally or two vehicles.

Description:
The Aobozu-class Armed Freighter was based on the need for fast, mobile freighters to transport goods throughout the galaxy for the Inari Shogunate. However, as the number of envoys dwindled due to the increasingly large combat-involvement of the Inari Shogunate, a self-reliant freighter was needed in order to convey cargo while at the same time protect itself from minor engagements.
The external frame Aobozu-class Armed Freighter is handcrafted by starship-crafters in the Izanami Ironworks, customized to meet the aesthetic demands of the Aobozu's future crew and with no two freighters being the same in design. Every other aspect is standardized and mass-produced, in order to hasten the rest of the production process. Crews of the Aobozu have been known to heavily customize their freighters, treating the Aobozu as their own home.
Each Aobozu can be modified internally to store different types of cargo, whether that be colonists, vehicles, starships parts, or armies. This allows the Aobozu to have a dynamic role within the Inari Shogunate, serving as a ubiquitous role as an economic freighter to dedicated infantry carrier. it has been known for crews of the Aobozu to in fact use the Aobozu as the crux of mobile colonies, spreading the influence of the Inari Shogunate further across the expanses of space.

Intent: To create a light freighter for the Inari Shogunate to use for its economic needs as well as general infantry/vehicle carriers for tactical landings on planets.
Primary Source:
- Gozanti-class Cruiserhttp://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Gozanti-class_cruiser
- From the Gozanti-class Crusier, the technical specifications and such were derived. Small changes to armaments (four light ion cannons instead of a dorsal twin-linked laser cannon and two twin-linked medium laser cannons) are for aesthetic change only. These changes are in fact meant to reflect a comparable, if not weaker, armament to the Gozanti-class Cruiser. Furthermore, concept of underside-mounted docking clamps are also taken from the Gozanti-class Cruiser.
