DESCRIPTION
A traditional Atrisian sword made with an important metal of its people, Utaken is a remarkable katana. The standard length and width of such a sword, this is a top quality work of brilliant craftsmanship. The sword is light and the blade shines bright. This sword is not only able to cut through many lighter and hollow materials with ease, but is also resistant to lightsabers, blaster fire, and the likes. However, it is still a sword. Unlike lightsabers, the sword cannot cut through solid objects of wood, metal, and technological might.

Another wonderful aspect of Utaken is the electro-sword features inspired by the Kage, a similar culture to the Atrisians. The sword can be switched onto an electrified mode, which envelops the blade in electricity. This can be very useful against biological lifeforms, droids, and armors and technologies weak against electricity. If an EMP or Ion attack were launched against it, however, this feature would be stripped away. Even worse is the risk of a powerful enough burst causing the electrical components to malfunction and spark, turning on the sword's own user and shocking them.

Utaken was forged by and owned by the rogue Atrisian Jedi Aoki for many years. The wandering Force User used it well in battle, protecting the weak against evil. He also taught his daughter, Aoki Mira, to use the weapon in expertise. When Aoki perished in battle, Mira took the sword up as her own.
