Rationale: Having always had a passion for clubs and bars, Anaya has been building her collection one venue at a time, since her appointment to Moridin’s Hand, by which point she had save up enough money to begin investing into one venue at at time. As she progress through the Empire to become Head of Intelligence they have proved to be a good place to gain information and she relied heavily on them as a resource. Though she does little in the sale of such intelligence, now, she uses it to her own advantage to simply keep track of what is happening where. Sometimes she uses the intelligence to save her own skin, but mostly its because she believes that knowledge is power.

Description: Originally, the venues were nothing more than a place for people to drink and somewhere for Anaya to escape to when the pressures of the Empire became too much. After her exile, they were all she had left and after weeks of wallowing in self pity, she threw herself into the business with vengeance, clearing out staff that were useless to her quest for knowledge and slowly replacing them. In the beginning she used fear to keep her staff loyal, threatening them every time she thought they were going to crack, but hard lessons learnt at the hands of the Empire taught her that fear did not keep true control.
The business, was essentially her own Empire, and she had to protect her subjects, as well as punish them when needed. She rewarded those who worked well for, began to extend her protection to their families, thus creating a more loyal workforce that worked better for her, not only increasing the amount of information she gained, but also increasing her profits, for customers began to spread the word and Aploeia Inc’s reputation began to bloom.
The venues range in style to suit the dirty spacers on society’s fringes and also to the high class citizens in core worlds, each club is dedicated to ensuring each customers satisfaction, after all, a happy customer is more likely to spill their secrets. All servers and working girls/boys, in the more explicit venues, keep a keen ear and eye about them, passing back rumours and tidbits of overheard conversations to venue managers. Some of the working girls/boys are given a target and its their job to ensure that the target is as relaxed as they could possibly be before the use their skill to tease secrets from their lips.
There are other intelligence agents outside of the clubs, used to infiltrate areas that interest Anaya, posing as new employees to get information, or simply to keep tabs on certain people. All agents are fitted, by their own will, with explosives caps on their rear molars, should anyone get caught, they are under obligation to terminate their lives to ensure there is no trail back to Anaya or Apoleia Inc.
On top of this intelligence group, Anaya has gathered a small collection of pilots, for the smuggling business and also a handful of dealers on fringe worlds where drugs can be distributed without too much attention being drawn. The details of this part of the business are always off record, though she makes a point of dropping hints to potential customers that she may be able to move that high risk load for them.
The droids that are manufactured are normally small, and designed to help a spy with their job, though, again, they are not publicly advertised for the world too see, only shown in the right places to the right people.
