Apprentice Meets Master

[member="Sawa Ike"]

Location: Point Modie, Maramere

Kerstas stepped off the shuttle, glad to be finally free from having to deal with any more individuals for long periods of time. Her stomach fluttering slightly, the Chagrian girl allowed herself to be swept away with the crowds. She was so close to the moment she had been anticipating: meeting her Master for the first time. But she had to be patient, and not run head-on, before anything else.

Once outside of the spaceport, Kerstas, wrinkling her nose at the amount of tourist appeal, began to search for a holoterminal with which she could contact her Master -- though she had her Master's number, she did not have her own com unit.

After a few minutes of searching, the girl finally located one. A Rodian was currently using it, causing her to release a faint sigh of exasperation.

Kerstas walked up to the Rodian, subtly probing his mind. To her delight, she discovered he was quite weak-minded, and wasted no time getting rid of him.

Tapping the alien's shoulder to get his attention, Kerstas waved her hand in front of his face and intoned, "You are all done with this terminal. It's time for you to continue with your day."

The Rodian's mouth slackened slightly. "Don't worry, young lady. I'm all done with this terminal, and it's time I go, anyway." With that, he bobbed his head and left.

Weak-minded fool, she thought, and set about contacting her Master.

"Greetings, Darth Shojo. I am Acolyte Kerstas Amida, your new Apprentice. I have just arrived at Point Modie, not too long ago. Is there anywhere you would like me to meet you at?" The young Acolyte's tone was polite and respectful -- though Kerstas had as much faith in her potential as the next guy, she also knew that most Darths could take her head off with a flick of the finger.

Well, maybe not literally. But still, it never hurt to be nice.

Demeter looked upon the energy vampire that had taken her contract. The small As-aki fluttering as her red wings left a small trail of crimson light but she returned with the information for her. "It is in the middle of the ocean from what information I could find. The Protectorate's exarch left good records of mining on the crystal." There was a flash across her pale skin and she brushed the black hair out of her face while Sawa stood there and offered her hand. There was food they could use and she landed on the woman's hand as they walked. Her small blade coming out as she pricked the woman's finger.

Then she was looking at the energy vampire listening to her comlink on her wrist. Demeter sank her mouth onto the tip of the finger while she was drinking and looked around while she gulped it down. Her sisters and species were afraid at times of the power they could have but as she fed on the energy within the vampires blood she felt the universe instead of just the area around her. She was a dangerous pixie of her species compared to the others before she looked up. There was the sight of the apprentice while she was lookign at Sawa who stood there in her uniform and curled a small finger.

Demeter watched Sawa lick it as it healed slowly she and landed on the woman's shoulder looking at the being. Her pale skin and black hair a sight as yellow flashed in her eyes and she slowly started producing an aura of unease within the space around them. She could see Sawa now as the woman looked over the girl of a species she didn't know while they were plotting and planning. "Oh how delicious." The energy vampire was looking upon her and moved forward a little smaller but with the fluid grace of a predator compared to many of the others. She smiled. "Now what shall we do with you."

Kerstas watched the scene between her new Master and that little...thing with hidden distaste. Being an energy vampire, the girl knew Darth Shojo would be a bit peculiar, but she certainly hadn't imagined this. And that small creature gave her the heebie jeebies, even through a projection.

"Whatever you deem appropriate, Master. I am here to learn, after all." But I won't let you turn me into a zombie or a snack bar, she added silently. Kerstas began to regret not doing more research on the older woman, but she really did not have as much time as she'd've liked.

After a brief pause, she added, "Though, before we start anything else I wouldn't mind being able to put my bag down somewhere." In a nice, clean room away from any bothersome people. As much as she wanted to do that, though, Kerstas wasn't getting her hopes up about that.

Suddenly, Kerstas sensed someone behind her and turned just as the being raised a hand to tap her shoulder. The person, a member of a species which the girl had not encountered, hid its surprise by crossing its arms and grumbling, "Hey, girly, I need to use that, so hurry up!"

The girl narrowed her eyes menacingly at the individual, hoping to scare him off. "As you can see, I am not yet done. It would be wise to wait your turn." With that, the Acolyte abruptly turned back around and looked at the older Sith.

"My apologies, Master."

Demeter watched with interest as her boss moved, the one who came and bothered assessing the apprentice seemed upset but the small pixie shot up into the air when she felt the vampire move. She watched her stalk around the girl and she wasn't sure if there were footsteps able to be heard or if it was that bizarre fluid grace. She had seen her stand still like a statue with those silver eyes looking out at you the only indication she was real. Her ability and practice to hold her breath for long periods could make her look like marble or be just as unnerving as her moving around like a cat or when she fed from some of the people.

"It is alright my apprentice." There was a look on her face of blankness, just silver eyes looking on and if the small thing didn't know any better she seemed to be debating if there was food or a tool in the apprentice. That she was here meant she had something already and soon the sith knight had stopped moving before her hand came out to the one that had bothered them. She didn't grab his throat more caressed it as her head turned towards him with those eyes as she spoke Red tendrils glowed under the skin as she pushed that invisible aura on him her species had to control.

"You want to leave now, it is not safe here." Demeter saw it and couldn't help but grin at the implication but the man was leaving and she turned to look at the apprentice again before speaking. Her voice coming out at a low level more sultry and seductive. "We shall see how you do soon enough for now my sweet. Tell me what you know of stygium?"

[member="Sawa Ike"]

Kerstas furrowed her brows for a moment when the Darth disappeared from the projection, almost as if she had walked off... Oh. Duh. It finally hit her that the Sith was circling her hologram, so she waited patiently until the assessment was complete.

Her brows once again furrowed when the woman seemed to reach out, and it was only when the girl moved slightly that she saw what her Master was doing.

The man who had bothered her had taken it upon himself to eavesdrop, and Kerstas couldn't help but watch with a little awe as the projection's hand seemed to caress the being. He, meanwhile, was completely enthralled. Then her Master spoke, and the little bit of awe turned into a lot of awe when the girl realised that the vampire was sending the Force through the holoterminal. Despite herself, she shivered. The Acolyte knew that such acts were more than possible -- look at the ancient Sith, Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine -- but until then, it never dawned on her just how powerful her new Master was.

It made her pause when she thought about those who were even higher than the Darth.

As the man left, Kerstas turned back to the woman and the tiny creature. "Stygium is a type of crystal only found on two planets, if I recall correctly. One is this planet, Maramere; I don't remember the other. Stygium is normally used as lightsaber crystals, but it can so be used in cloaking devices," she answered.

A shot of excitement travelled down the girl's spine. If her conclusion was right, then she might be getting a real crystal today, thus beginning her quest for her own lightsaber.

Definitely not bothersome.

Demeter was looking at the boss on this as Sawa gave a small nod of her head and spoke to the projection. "Very good, I will be there with you soon and we will be heading towards the island where it is mined. First by the protectorate and soon by us." She was standing there while she looked into the projection and her grin appeared. This tight lipped smile that reached her eyes and seemed more like the kind you gave right before nailing babies to a tree. "I'll see how tasty you are in person." Demeter saw the projection disappear as she fluttered down and spoke. "So what is the plan boss lady?"

There was a look that passed between them as she heard the voice and it sent shivers down her spine that alerted her to the part where she feared this woman would eat her given the chance. Instead of sharing that delicious force energy in her blood before she waited. "Go and determine the apprentice as well as keep an eye on her. I'll get a snack and meet you there." Demeter gave a nod of her head as she flew up itno the air to find the apprentice while Sawa went off into one of the buildings reading preschool and as the small pixie got to the apprentice she was soon joined by Sawa who was standing there in the flesh.

"How delicious." She stood there looking at everything for a time as she moved to start walking and Demeter landed on her shoulder holding her blades at the back of her hips.

"Understood, Master. I await your arrival."

As the projection shut off, Kerstas reflected on the smile her Master had given. It was scary, inhuman, and deadly powerful -- just like the woman delivering it and, if she was lucky, just like what Kerstas hoped to become.

If she didn't become a snack bar.

The girl sat down at a nearby bench, waiting for her Master to appear. While she waited, she stared at her nails, mulling over the meeting. Darth Shojo was certainly strange, but she was not to be trifled with, either. Something about her personality made the girl wonder whether she would hesitate to kill an apprentice, should a mistake be made. While her first instinct was to say no, her gut said otherwise.

Then again... it could have been a charade, a probe to see how strong or weak she was. Kerstas could respect that; she knew that if she had to have an apprentice, she would not want a sissy. That would be bothersome. In any case, there would be no way to tell until the Sith actually showed up. Though, Kerstas had to admit that the pixie creature was repulsive.

Speaking of the devil, the Acolyte sensed a presence coming towards right before she caught sight of it: that damned pixie was flying towards her, but with no Master. The girl stifled a sigh as the creature hovered near her, no doubt taking delight in the discomfort it created.

Wary of the pixie's abilities, the girl turned her attentions towards her nails, burying her inner thoughts deep, deep down inside. The green is beginning to chip of, she noticed. I will have to repaint it -- a red, perhaps, or a goldish-orange.

Within minutes, she sensed a much darker presence, and the girl looked up at her Master. Kerstas stood up, bowing in respect. "Darth Shojo. It is a pleasure to meet you face to face." The pixie flew to hover over the woman's shoulder and Kerstas moved to the other side, standing a little behind her Master. As they walked, the girl scrutinized the vampire -- and came to the uneasy conclusion that her first assumption was correct.

Pushing aside the feeling, the girl spoke up. "Master, if I may, I'd like to inquire as to what the first order of business is. Are we going to be looking for Stygium crystals?"

Demeter was watching the sight play out as the apprentice met the master for the first time and she could see Sawa still stalking her almost. The little pixie could see the gears turning but in all her years she wasn't entirely certain if and when the energy vampire was actually sated, she was guessing it was her choice but..... "The crystals are one part of the reason for being here but so many more things. I rather enjoyed the idea of simply.... tasting some southern cuisine and to see how well you follow orders." Her head turned to almost an ungodly angle as she slowly turned her body and raised a hand to touch the headtails.

Demeter hovered in a little closer to watch but wasn't certain what was happening as those silver eyes roamed over the apprentices body for a moment before small tendrils shimmed from her skin towards the headtails she had. "I am so far not disappointed. You are rather tasty already and once we get those juices flowing." She turned back around and started walking slowly walking towards the docks and Demeter flew up and towards the docks while she was looking over the ones there. Sending out a jolt of energy through the force to make the one hand fearful even more so as he was setting up the ship to take them over.

Kerstas couldn't refrain herself from narrowing her eyes slightly at the woman's words. And as she touched her headtails (the audacity!) the girl stiffened somewhat. She didn't like people invading her personal space unless she said so; it was one of the reasons why the girl had no friends. Well, and the fact that Sith never really had friends.

"I see," she replied, tightlipped. "As for following orders well, you may or may not be pleased to know that I will obey orders -- but I cannot make any promises on being a pushover."

In other words? Kerstas understood that the Darth was her Master, and she understood that entailed. But she was also warning that there would be a limit, that there would always be a limit, to what people could make her do. And it was a warning, a warning so subtle that not even Kerstas was sure that she'd sent it, that the Acolyte's time would come, whether the vampire liked it or not.

Even as these thoughts flitted by while she walked, the Chagrian also could not help but be thankful, in a twisted way, that her master was so dangerous. It would help her keep her wits sharp and her survival sense honed.

"In any case, I am glad you find everything to your liking so far," she added after a pause, ignoring the "delicious" remark. It was remarkable, really, how quickly someone could get used to odd behaviour.

Demeter watched them walking as the boat leading them tot he haunted straights had the energy vampire sitting in a chair, the captain setting the course and having the crewman with him pilot as he was giving into her actions. Taking the flirtations and looks along him as something other then... well as Demeter was guessing how much sun tanned sea captain she could consume. She was both revolted and like a bad crash unable to look away as it happens. When the man put a hand on her cheek there was a red tendril wriggling under his skin that seemed to make his knees buckle and Sawa was watching through the man towards the girl.

She could see her hand come up and slowly as Demeter landed near her shoulder listening she could smell fish and smoke. "Come here apprentice." The masters hand came up while one held his wrists together. "Now now no touching." She placed her head on his opposite shoulder for a moment as the situation changed. Demeter could feel the change in the air as the aura of sleaze became serious and dangerous with the man struggling while her grip on his wrists held him in place. "First lesson my sweet, flesh is weak, blood is cheap and males will do whatever you want for the promise of flesh... I want you to induce fear within his mind."

[member="Sawa Ike"]

"Of course, Master." The day was looking better already.

Now if only she'd stop calling Kerstas "my sweet," as if the girl were a child. Well, she technically was, but only in biological terms. Or was it chronological?

Forcing those bothersome thoughts from her mind, Kerstas focused instead on the task at hand.

Hmm. How to induce fear... The girl studied the captain, performing a quick mind probe. She discovered that the man's mind was fairly strong, but not strong enough. And, when she detected a sliver of panic in the captain, an idea came to her.

While training, Kerstas had discovered an innate ability to alter her environment. She was by no means adept at it yet, but she could still do minor accomplishments, like changing the temperature or creating fog. In fact, that was what she planned to do now.

Furrowing her brow slightly, the girl used the Force to cause the moisture in the air to condense just enough for wisps of fog to appear. She continued to do this until there was enough fog that everything around the four was barely visible. Once that was steady, she turned her attention to the captain.

"Fogs are like harbingers," she whispered, putting some oomph in her words with the Force. "They foretell the arrival of things, things which go bump in the night." Technically, Kerstas could just push the idea of fear in the human's mind, but it wouldn't be able to take a good foothold. Besides, this was just so damn fun.

"Things hide in fogs. Things that whisper futures of agony, or eternal torment. Things that drive a sane man to suicide, or mass murders. Things that make the hair stand up on your neck." The girl's orange eyes flashed, and a cruel smirk appeared. She was enjoying herself. "Things that come from your worst nightmare." Kerstas then leaned in closer to the man and her Master's head, attempting not to gag on the smell of fish and smoke as she lowered her voice to a whisper.

"And these things, these things which hide in fogs? They're coming for you." She made a final push with the Force, adding emphasis to her last word as she finished planting fear into the human's mind. Though, by this time, it was probably more like terror.

Demeter watched the sight unfold as the fog was rolling in and the trip to the haunted straights well took on a new meaning and idea. This seemed more and more like a ghost ships as she stayed with the watching the sights before her. The energy vampire keeping the man in her grasp as he struggled sweat coming to his brow. She could almost taste and smell him ready to soil himself which wasn't a good thing while moving. Sawa she could see remaining there and her eyes never left the sight of the apprentice going to work on the man before her free hand came up and slowly she moved to the side.

Demeter could see she still had her hands on his wrists and was holding them together but now the two of them could be away from the smell while her slender hand came to the apprentices shoulder and Demeter landed on it. Swiping at her black hair while she watched his eyes dart around in panic before Sawa released him with a snap. He screamed while his hands were at different angled before the pixie heard the vampires voice. "Now what do you want to do with him my sweet?" She could see her moving around almost predatory while her voice was low and intense in the fog.

"What will you do with him is the better question?" Demeter could see more danger while the siths hands touched the girls shoulders and she was feeling the prickles of energy like a burning wash. Scolding until you realized it wasn't 'real' and able to burn you but still the sensation was there. She wrapped her arms around watching Sawa's head come like a devil on the shoulder. "Will you simply kill him? Snuff his life from existence. or will you find a use for him? Will be become one of your pieces on the board? Will he become a meal to satiate you until you want another and another?"

Demeter could see it working as that wash became cool like the grave and the temperature on the boat heading there dropped. She could see Sawa wasn't moving while her silver eyes remained on the man but her mouth with growing incisors appeared on the girls shoulder. Her voice stronger before she was moving her hand to wrap around slowly inch by inch. "You said you knew how to follow orders my sweet... Like a faithful little pup, I'll give you scraps until the time is right. Or maybe you'll be all inventive like the ones who sealed me away for a few thousand years. Choose his fate."

[member="Sawa Ike"]

Kerstas didn't even shudder when her master's head appeared at her shoulder. The girl's attention was too fixated on the rush of...not ecstasy, exactly, but it was something close to that. She practically fed off of the man's fear, and she was pleased that her actions had warranted such a reaction.

Unless you weren't the only contributor, whispered a little voice, but she waved it away. Darth Shojo was scary, true, but it had been Kerstas who'd done everything.

It had to be.

Her Master's mention of being thousands of years old drew the Acolyte's mind back to the current situation. What to do, indeed? It would be oh, so simple to get rid of this man. A flick of the wrist, and he would no longer blot the beauty of the universe with his bothersome, smelly presence. Or, stab him and toss him to sea so that he may die slowly. Either way, the suffering would be so delicious.

But he was the captain of the boat... and Kerstas most definitely didn't know how to pilot a boat. Not to mention, the chances of a mutiny would be greater without the captain. And, he may of yet be of service.

What to do, what to do...

It was only when the girl felt her Master's fingers beginning to put pressure on her neck that she realized she had to make a choice -- and fast. "We'll save him -- for now," she said quickly. "He may yet prove to be useful. Once he has fulfilled his duty, though, I say we kill him."

Now, to see if she had chosen right.

Demeter saw her pause... for a long moment as the master just stood there looking and then the atmosphere changed. She stood a little taller behind the girl with her hands on her shoulders and brought her head to the center of her lethorns with a light kiss before pulling back and speaking. "Ahhh good." The ship was making it to the haunted straights, their small island that was considered a ghost island cause scanners couldn't penetrate it we Demeter flew landing on the woman's shoulder as Sawa was moving to one side of the boat into the fog. She spoke low. "So where was the lesson in that?"

She had to admit she was confused, killing and risking the crew turning on them was a dangerous thing after all... for ones who couldn't fly at least and she wasn't to sure if the vampire knew how to swim in deeper then bath waters. "A lessons, in a manner. I have seen violent sith you do not value life.... of others but themselves. Some would kill the man for an imagined slight, some would kill him to satisfy their own sadism. Not caring for what would come afterwards be it the crew turning on us or something far worse." Demeter was trying to understand it and she got half the idea.

"So he was a test to see if the girl would just kill things?" Now she saw those eyes looking them over as the fog was on the island. "In a manner, her killing the man had no side. If he died we were to arrive and we could fight strengthening our bond in wholesale slaughter of inferiors. If he lived she is like this, wondering if she has done something correctly and hinging on what I saw." Slowly Demeter turned to look into the boat at the girl who seemed to be wondering it as she agreed on one point... The mans life was more then likely forget as Sawa spoke letting her fly off and moved back to be by her apprentices side.

"He is old, fat, and smells of his trade but he has value. Even if it cannot be wholly seen my apprentice... all life has value it is only a matter of what you use it for. In this case however we have arrived and he no longer matters in our grand plans. So." She trailed off as her hand came out. "You may do to him what you wish, I would say you have earned the choice to decide his fate."

[member="Sawa Ike"]

Indeed they had arrived. The island had an aura about it which made it seem almost alive -- no doubt the crystals, but still. Kerstas could see why people would have thought it haunted.

And now, for the captain.... Her Master's words earned a smirk of agreement, and the girl drummed her fingers on her hilt, thinking. The captain had been necessary for sailing to the island, true, but they were here now. And it was unlikely that he was the only individual who knew how to get back.

So, yes, his usefulness had come to an end. And there was no point in keeping useless objects.

But what of the crew? Like before, killing him might bring on a mutiny. And even though Kerstas would love to be done with the captain, she didn't feel like dealing with the crew afterwards. That would be bothersome.

"We take him as insurance," she told her Master. In a louder voice, so that the others could hear her, the Chagrian added, "He goes with us, to doubly insure the crew does not turn tail on us. If the ship is gone when we get back, he dies here, on this island. If the ship stays, he does not."

Again, though, she lowered her voice so that only her Master and that pixie, if it was listening, could hear. "When the mainland comes into sight, we can kill him or all of them if you want, Master."

Demeter watched the master looking at the girl and a grin was on her face as she flew up hearing her words. "See she is learning the value of lives spared for a purpose." The pixie held her grin as she flew up into the fog and was scouting the area with the mine. Sections of crystal while she could see the form of the energy vampire clinking through the fog with the captain bound in her one hand and her apprentice. Leading the way to the shafts and carts while her words came out low and silky within the thick fog. "You are showing more restraint then others my apprentice, other sith would have killed the man, killed the crew and left us to call in the ship or try to."

Demeter continued to listen while she landed on one of the carts with some small samples of the crystal and lots of rock. She was looking it over and a few slivers stayed in her skin while she sneered snapping it before listening and looking into one of the mines they had from the protectorate. Sawa was near and demeter arrived standing there on her shoulder. "There is some old protectorate equipment from when they took the world and destroyed one of the bases." There was a nod of agreement for her while she was looking at the apprentice before motioning her closer and binding the captain to some of the equipment.

"It looks like we'll get to enjoy ourselves in finding some.... and look our friends have left so much here since they pulled out."

[member="Sawa Ike"]

Kerstas was pleased that she had once again passed the test, though she did not like the smile the pixie had on. After assisting her Master with the captain's bindings, the girl glanced at the crew. Saying they weren't very happy would be an understatement; while most of them concealed it, all radiated fear, discontent...some even showed it openly.

She ignored them, turning away to accompany her Master. It was foggy here, and she wondered idly if it would have any affect on the man. It did -- a brief mental probe revealed as much, though the increased sweat would have been evidence enough.

"Thank you, Master," Kerstas said in reply to the Darth's compliment. That was one thing her overseers and peers had failed to understand -- killing, as exciting as it may be, was not always the answer. After all, the bodies piled up eventually. But here was she, being complimented on her restraint, and not giving in to her primal instincts. Take that, stupid Overseers.

The pixie came back, mentioning something about the Protectorate's equipment being left behind. "The Omega Protectorate, right? Are they even around anymore?" She certainly hadn't heard much about them in the snippets of HoloNews she was able to watch every now and then. "And why haven't the Sith come here beforehand?"

Demeter continued to look at the pair while Sawa was moving around in the fog, checking the equipment but also looking at her apprentice. If she didn't know better the As-Aki would swear the vampire was wanting to kiss the girl or more but... given what she was the devouring her life force seemed more likely... Or both at the same time. She had seen some weird things and it seemed the old you got the less poodoo you gave towards well other species sense of morality. She saw that when the masters head perked with the question and she moved in silently to stand behind her... The was nuzzling almost at her shoulder speaking as the first edges of hunger came to her crept into her voice.

"And what would the reaction be to that? Us slowly moving in, creepying to a world with crystal known to the galaxy to create stealth technology? How would it look" There was a sliver in her voice while she was whispering and walking to lead the way towards the mines that were filled with miners and from her scouting carts. They had some already mined but she was now watching the captain with her force energies keeping him restrained. "No we could come here whenever we want like this.... slipping our fingers into the mines how we like. Dancing in the dark as she take what we want and then vanish. It is so much more enjoyable to have that thrill of being caught wouldn't you say my apprentice."

[member="Sawa Ike"]

"Until you're actually caught, and killed." No sooner had the words slipped off of her tongue that Kerstas pressed her lips firmly together, startled and displeased with the thoughtless words. And they truly were thoughtless; if she'd been thinking better, the girl would have never said it.

Even so, she understood where the woman was coming from -- less opposition than if the Sith owned it, so long as they cleaned their paths.

Her look of displeasure morphed into a mild grimace, which she directed at the older woman. "Apologies, Master. I was thinking only of my own abilities." There. That ought to placate the vampire, right? And perhaps keep the girl from becoming a snack -- she'd sensed the hunger surfacing from the Darth, would have to be derived of all senses not to.

The girl's attention quickly focused on the workers in the mine they were walking towards. The men and women were all hard at work, and had yet to notice the two -- no, three, she almost forgot the tiny pixie whose name she hadn't yet learned -- growing nearer by the second. Nodding her head towards the individuals, the Acolyte asked, "Are these people aware of us? Will they bother us?" Almost as an after thought, a third question appeared in her mind, causing the corners of Kerstas's mouth to jump up slightly. "Or will there be, ah, an unfortunate accident?"

The Chagrian hadn't forgotten the lesson on avoiding needless killing, but surely these individuals would not be of any importance to them? And she was hoping her master would choose to satiate herself with the miners.

Demeter cringed when she heard the apprentice speaking.... Mostly she was expecting a hard slap or some form of lightning to come and blow their cover. Sith she had worked with got all emotional and then they got sloppy as she only saw the Darth stand there still and not even the sound of a heartbeat came. Unnerving more then anything was the lack of blinking until finally her hand came up as the apprentice approached the mines and kept speaking. Apologizing for her words but realizing to herself she had spoken her mind faster then her lips could stop herself.

Then Demeter saw it that edge of a predator as her master moved to stand in front of the girl and she opened her mouth slightly. The sharp snap of her fangs as they came out like a snakes from along the roof of her mouth, Demeter could see them glistening with small excretions that she knew from experience could make someone like the bite. She could see Sawa sniffing her apprentices and settling on her face before she was snarling words out and pressing her thumb towards the underside of the girls chin to try and raise her head to hear the pulse in her neck.

"Only the foolish get caught, we do not revel in our deaths and kills, we do not display them for the galaxy to see, we move quietly, we stike quickly and we fade away with accidents in our wake." Then Demeter saw her moving away quickly towards the miners and she was holding one. His hand running over her as she didn't have to say anything just moved from kissing him to the curve of his neck and was biting down before he gasped. Her hand going to the back of her head to present more of his neck so the apprentice could watch and Demeter flew up listening while Sawa pulled away and spoke to the man. "You will give us a repulsor sled loaded with the crystal and then detonate charges in the miner." She could see the man nodding his head in understanding and walking off to do as ordered. "You may kill who you want but ensure they are in the mine before it explodes. If I see one body I am going to feed on you, two bodies and I shall make you my thrall, three and well you won't be conscious to know what is happening to you."
