Arashi Hagane
You won't wake up
NAME: Arashi Hagane
FACTION: -
RANK: Slayer.
SPECIES: Half Atrisian
AGE: 24
SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 5'7"
WEIGHT: 136 lbs
EYES: Blue
HAIR: Red
SKIN: Fair
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Soldier side- Trained and indoctrinated into the Sith Imperial Stormtrooper Corps in his teenage years, Arashi learned martial combat and weapon styles to an absurd proficiency. As he came from the Fighting Pits and ultimately won his way out of slavery and into the Corps, he saw firsthand the savagery that the Empire allowed. It remains a part of who he is. He's extremely capable as a fighter.
Rehabilitated, mostly- Arashi has spent a great deal of time off the front line and recuperating. While much of the damage to his mind and personality have been alleviated, there are aspects of him that may never recover. Still, he has shown the ability to integrate with society and remarkable growth in terms of social skills. He's able to keep his composure in a wide variety of situations due to his past.
Slayer's Vow- Unlike the traditional "good guy," Arashi has taken a vow not to thwart evil, but to rout it. As such he seeks not to detain Dark siders, but destroy them. There is no negotiation with the enemy.
Sinner- Arashi spent years of his life uniformly committing atrocities in service to the Sith. By the time he became conscious of his own actions, his soul was stained and his memories haunted. Because of this, the man constantly berates and considers himself as unworthy of the kindness of others. While it drives him to do and be better, it also makes him stubborn and standoffish.
Tragedies- He was present during the campaign through the Stygian Caldera, and most notably at Mirial. He witnessed the actions taken both by the Sith and Jedi, and he lost his taste for both as a result. While he understands the Jedi are well-intentioned, he thinks they take foolish and at times dangerous actions that ultimately fall short of their true objective. The Sith, he knows, are most assuredly the enemy of freedom and goodness in the Galaxy.
APPEARANCE:
Dark hair, blue eyes, average height. Most often seen wearing traditional Akashiman clothing.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born to an Akashiman mother, "Arashi" exchanged hands multiple times as a child. Taken into slavery and transported into Sith Space by the time he was a teen, the youth never spent enough time in one place or with people consistently enough to develop more than a survival instinct.
That changed when he made it to the Slave Pens, and the Fighting Pits thereafter. The people he met, the men he watched die, and the bonds he forged helped him to find himself and decide what humanity meant to him.
When he fought his way out and enlisted, those lessons helped him grow. As he fought for the Sith, he saw new things and came to understand his place in the Galaxy. At the end of the campaign, when he looked back, Arashi knew he had to leave.
At least, he recognized it once the mental conditioning had worn off.
He seized the first opportunity to desert during the attack on Coruscant, when the Alliance fell. For the time that followed, he had to relearn how to be a person. He had to learn how to live among the people.
But, he had seen the enemy.
He couldn't just stand idly by.
