Arceneau Cultural Archives of Bestine

The palatial library sat upon one of the larger islands on the blue aquatic world. Right on the rocky coastline, it's landing pads held a magnificent view of the ocean waves just underneath. The weather was warm and the breeze was cool. The ocean birds flew overhead and the light wind jostled the giant red flags along the cities skyline. It could have a been a paradise world had their been an overabundance of galactic wealth here. Alas, the economy was slow this year and royalty rarely visited. The landing pad of the Arceneau Cultural Archives was filled today with mostly scientific vessels of all sorts. Long range explorers and Core world researchers, all.

Monica stood at the great wide glass doors of the civilian entrance way. The blue reflections of sky and ocean glittering off the vast building behind her. Today the blue haired woman was awaiting a new friend. [member="Belizarius Krusi"] . The Blue Jedi of Jabiim. Or, well... At least that's what she called him. Hehe. Monica checked her phone for the time. Dressed in her dark HD coat, she had invited the Jedi Knight here via the JAN's Holo-net network. He should be arriving soon. Well. ...Probably. I mean. You just never know with Jedi. They could be off saving the galaxy again. Who knows?

It had been a long time since Belizarius had been anywhere this close to civilization. Travelling between poverty stricken worlds in the outer-rim were not exactly known for their sophistication. The ship that he landed in looked ancient, he was a old rust bucket that his old master helped rebuild. In the end Belizarius for the most part was doing his job completely unsupported by even the Jedi Enclave that originally trained him.

As the young Jedi landed, he was quick to put a long brown robe over his blue clothing underneath. This was to simply give him more of a Jedi appearance, since if he was wearing just his blue robes then he could easily pass as more a farmer then anybody who would have any respect for this place. In general his appearance was far better than it originally was on Jabiim, his clothing had been cleaned vigorously making him look as civilized as the people that he saw around him as he walked down the ramp at the back of his ship before it closed behind him.

The oceans on this planet were absolutely beautiful. To be honest it was very rarely these days that he got the chance to really admire views like this and not to mention the absolutely beautiful building that he was actually visiting. For about 5 minutes he just stood at the platform and just looked at the building. As he looked at the entrance he saw the woman that had invited him here and all of a sudden he remembered that he was actually quite confused by his original invitation to join Monica in this place.

As he walks down, he waves and gives off a slight smile. To be honest it would be nice to interact with somebody who didn't need his help and even he had a hard time hiding his excitement of coming to a place of learning, that part of him was practically still a child and was the only thing that... helped him forget. Though at the same time with all he knew this was some front and he was about to be suckered into something more 'interesting' than a simple visit.

"Hi, I came as quickly as I could" Belizarius was not from the core-worlds but he was born on Taris and in many ways the Tarisian accent had not changed that much. His accent was rougher than you'd expect but on the other hand there was a hidden elegance, he pronounced his words clearly and didn't slur. Though in terms of elegance and courtesy he wasn't very well experienced, when Monica curtsied last time they interacted he didn't quite know what to think of it.

Monica held her helm against her trim waist and beamed a smile.

"Welcome to Bestine, Jedi Knight." She gave a slight nod and then gestured to the exotic glass doors behind her, "And welcome, to the greatest library, in the galaxy. Hehe."

She turned and invited him inside. Past the wide doors, shuffling crowds, and silver clad servant droids. Inside was the most spacious, tall, and labyrinthine marble construction that most had ever seen. It paired a comparison to the Jedi Temples of Coruscant, Voss, and Sullust. Clearly, someone had spared no expense and had labored with a love and passion akin to their great connection with a most beautiful and refined, red haired woman. Danger'ous, indeed. Hehe.

Monica stopped in the wide Great Hall at the center of all things. Gesturing to the many side rooms. Filled with holographic realism and astral projections large enough to enrapture the senses. Holographic images of people, places, and things both near and far. Wide and thing. Big and small. ...Indeed. Every side room was your own personal auditorium to the greatest collection of knowledge and philosophical wealth the galaxy had ever seen. A White Codex and a gem of their generation. A library surpassed only by the Great Jedi Omnicron itself. Nigh, impossible.

Monica giggled and pressed her finger to the excitement in the very air,

"Hehe. Welcome Jedi Knight. To the perfect home for a Sentinel."

Belizarius was awestruck at first, the libraries that he was used to were extremely small buildings with books that might of been old but for the most case useless. As he got older and read all the books at his Enclave this lead into frustration. To be honest the largest library he'd ever visited was briefly on Taris....

"How much data is collected here? is there information of the complete history of the" he rushed to a nearby terminal and starting typing away "It's here! Mandalorian War! you know how long I searched for a place that houses information on some of these subjects" The speed he was typing and reading revealed somebody completely in his element, the awkwardness in many ways disappeared and a shine of confidence as the Jedi looked quickly through the countless records kept in this place. If Belizarius never became a knight, he would of been just as happy being a Librarian.

"This place is amazing" He said looking back at her, it was the first time that he actually really took her in. It was then that he realized oh weird this behavior could appear to somebody who didn't quite know him.

"Where I was trained, is tiny. The library practically had the essentials for studying the force but everything else was low priority. I only got to really read anything other than that after... my master took me under her wing and showed me other planets. Where I would usually except texts as a form of payment when people insisted on giving me a reward" he smiled at Monica at the thought of his old trunk in his ship filled with a bunch of old book. His smile went a bit sad after a few seconds in this nostalgic memory.

Monica brushed away his melancholy with a smile and wave,

"Always with your heart in the past, young Jedi. Never here. In the present."

She poked him right in the forehead with a black leather finger. Poke.

"This. Here. Now. This is where you belong. In the present. Where all Jedi Knights find the Force."

She twirled around and waved at all the marvelous things that surrounded him. This place. This moment. This present time.

"Oh poor Jedi. How much you have to learn. Hehe."

Monica stopped and shrugged. Shaking her head with a sigh.

"It is enough then. With this discovery your path is illuminated and the Force is satisfied. Now your true journey into the galaxy can really begin."

She smiled. It was enough. [member="Belizarius Krusi"] now had all of history to browse, and read, and look for lost artifacts. This library held for him literally endless adventure. Now. Hehe. Now all he had to do was start.

"I guess in many ways it's always been the past that's defined me, even when i was a padawan the here and now didn't interest me. Could say in a sense I was constantly stuck in a fantasy" he looked around at what really was a gorgeous building and did honestly take her words in "It's funny, I spent years reading about the amazing feats of people in the past and being in awe at what they could accomplish. Yet there I was...training to be a Jedi Knight. I was admiring what other people were doing while I literally had Masters waiting to teach me how to be like that"

He laughed as he said this "it's actually pretty funny when you think about it. Thank you for this, this means a lot" He looked over to her "So... who are you exactly? I haven't come across many Jedi in my travels... are you actually a Jedi?"

Karen rubbed her helm and waved them over to a leisure area. There, she set down her helm and took a seat on a repulsar couch. Much better. Less hustle and bustle too.

"Am I a Jedi? Hmm. ...Well. I was. Knighted by Grandmaster Watts of the Jedi Order of Tython. Nearly, oh... Almost fifteen years ago, I suppose."

She nodded and stroked the fur shawl of her armor. Remembering the past like it had been centuries ago.

"However. It was suggested by later Grandmaster Wraith that I take a vacation from the Order. To better reconcile my warrior's spirit. Hehe. ...I suppose I've been a woman of the Force ever since. Just. Me and myself. No titles. No destiny. Just, a woman and her Light. Nothing more."

Monica smiled and looked at every passer by. Nodding to each random person as they passed.

"I help Jedi like you now. As a member of the JAN, I make the destiny of a Jedi Knight easier to see. Closer to grasp. Helping Lightsided Champions, such as yourself, find what drives them. What gives them purpose."

She giggled. What a strange way to explain it all.

"Anyway. The Force bid me bring you here and so, I did. And I suppose in no small way? It was enough. Now you have all that you need to explore this great galaxy in your fullest potential. So near complete."

Then she held up a gloved finger and pointed back towards the double doors.

"Of course. You'll need a new ship too. Hehe. That old rust bucket you arrived in doesn't quite look sturdy enough to stand up First Order TIE fighters or Sith Interceptors. Mmm."

She shrugged.

"But that I suppose... Is where this adventure ends, and your next adventure begins. Hehe."

Monica checked her phone again for the time. Indeed. Yes. It was almost time for her to go.

Belizarius walked back to the terminal that he was just accessing. Part of him knew that if he truely wanted to start putting his past behind him then Monica was correct, he had to start looking more at the here and now for answers.

He started looking up recent galactic history. Looking for something that might give him a clue about what to do next, he had been out of the loop for quite some time now.... you could say that he was never truly in that loop. Though there was one thing that he took a little offense too.

'One day I will show her what that old rust bucket is capable of'

As [member="Belizarius Krusi"] took his leave to begin his study of the modern galaxy, Monica smiled at the sight. Truly.

"Well. Good luck Knight Jedi." She whispered softly, "And may the Force be with you."

She then stood up and slowly retrieved her void helm. Placing the artifact upon her head once more and disappearing out the door. An end and a beginning. After all. This was Krusi's tale now. Only he could write what comes next.
