Three examples of factions currently seeking to do just this, though there are others out there beyond the examples I've given. Not to mention the Galactic Republic itself which is a minor faction these days, is floating around still somewhere.

Yeah, this is stupid, I really wasn't thinking when I made this. I read it now and I'm still wondering what was going on in the vacuum previously occupied by brain tissue. I'm just going to archive this.
