- Cutter: Conventional lightsabers are capable of cutting through nearly any conventional material in a few blows or less, the only exceptions being lightsaber resistant metals like phrik or beskar, alchemized or otherwise Force-imbued materials, particularly strong energy shields, and of course, other lightsabers. These are no different.
- Deflector 9000: Someone really, really, REALLY doesn't want to get shot. The kunda stone lenses, Jenraux and Lorrdian crystals, and the deflection emitters are all designed to increase the blades' (and the wielder's) ability to deflect blaster bolts.
- Simply Stunning: The ion cells and power knob allow the blades' power to be scaled back to a non-lethal setting ("that's gonna leave a welt"), but it can also deliver a stun effect which can leave an opponent incapacitated.
- Bifurcating Cyclical Ignition Pulse: Enables the blades to function underwater, huzzah!
- And Don't Forget About Body Language: The Lorrdian gemstone found in one of the blades increases the wielder's ability to read the body language/kinetic communication of others, thus improving overall defense.
- Cortosis: Will shut off the blades.
- Sonics: Sonic bolts travel through the blades.
- Slugthrowers: Solid projectiles turn molten when hitting the blades, causing potential splash damage.
- Paddle Beams: Paddle Beams will travel around the blades.
Kass built her first lightsaber while still a padawan. Later in life, after she became a Jedi Master, she decided to build a second weapon which was similar to but slightly different than the first. The main differences are the different crystals used in each blade: a Jenraux crystal in the first, and a Lorrdian gemstone in the second. Both crystals are geared toward defending against blaster bolts, but the Lorrdian gemstone also increases the wielder's ability to read the body language of others due to its imbuement.
