SOCIAL INFORMATION
- Name: Arcosius Heaphes Nargath, First Lord of House Nargath, Baron of Pelan, Darth Mephis
- Loyalties: Ancient Sith Empire, Eriadu
- Wealth: Unknown, though it may be assumed due to his nobility status that even in those days he could be considered considerably wealthy.
- Notable Possessions: Vele Jivanikas jewel
- Skills: Force Drain , Force Projection , Transfer Essence, all other standard sith and jedi skills at knight rank or higher, Sith sorcery, sith alchemy
- Personality:
Though he probably built up one of Eriadu's finest lineages and noble powerhouses, rumor had it that he was also in liue with less savory activities. With many people talking about many unexplained dissappearances near his residence, strange visitors and the man himself acting strange. In due time, he seemed to withdraw himself and became rather reclusive, yet the strange visitors kept on coming. Strangely though, in his waning years, Arcosius seemed to regain some of his former self in his waning years, frequencing the hospitals, donating money to charities and generally allowing others to like him.
COMBAT INFORMATION
- Weapon of Choice: His will, followed by a customized rapier lightsaber
- Combat Function: Though he generally does not interact with any other mortal being than the bearer of the Vele Jivanikas jewel, should the jewel be threatened, he is able to react by channeling his power directly into the wearer, amping up their power considerably, but also entering and corrupting their consciousness in the process. He is able to posses others, though non force users would most likely just die under the strain and force users in general are able to resist such a thing if they are not in contact with the jewel. However, should the target's mind be sufficiently broken or weakened, he may attempt this anyway.
- Overwhelming intimidation: Even in death, this man possesses an ironclad will and commanding presence that those of weaker will would easily crumble onto their knees when he exerts his will.
- Knows the old ways: Many of the old sith teachings were lost in the waning years prior to the rule of two, just like a holocron of those bygone eras, he's a treasure throve of boundless information, but if given the chance, he can also be a dangerous asset.
- He's so far the only spirit known to be able to not only resist, but also manipulate the properties of the Vele Jivanikas jewel from within.
- As expected of any darkside essence, he can be purified and released from this plane of existence by using the Force Light ability, though one has to be of high skill to completely erase him.
- Apparently anchored to the Vele Jivanikas jewel, so if anything happens to the jewel, it may backfire on him.
- Obsessively seeks to orchestrate his ressurection, making him somewhat of a loose canon for those wearing the Vele Jivanikas jewel
Out of what is known, Arcosius Nargath grew up a rather unremarkable youth, a simple good life as the son of a wealthy nobleman on eriadu, he passed his time with sports and parties. Later, he trained at the Eriadu royal military academy. At age eighteen, he survived and succeeded in the grueling Eriadu Trials of induction and afterwards joined the military.
When the great galactic war erupted, Arcosius joined the sith empire and had a very good path asa career officer in the army ahead of him. Unbeknownst to anyone who knew him though, he was eventually inducted within the sith brotherhood and over the span of several decades grew more powerful, but also more dangerous. As the sith empire collapsed, the now Darth Mephis returned to his home of Eriadu and began experimenting with the possibility of immortality. Though it was alluded to that he had managed to uncover the secrets of the infamous lord Andeddu, transfer essence, it seemed he never got to use it properly or at least not how he intended.
According to the tales of old, in his waning days, he seemed to become more open, more amicable again as he was in his youth, frequently visiting hospitals, donating to charity. He began to become a well liked figure, though scolars do say that this is simply because he gave up on his ambitions, few truly know why he suddenly seemed to have this sudden change of heart. However, what IS known, is that he died in his sleep, yet not peacefully, as he was found with his eyes wide open, a scowl on his lips and a mixture of anguish and hatred within his spread-open lifeless eyes.
His son Meravus Nargath constructed a mausoleum in honor of his father and though many thought there was more to the mausoleum than meets the eye, none have ever uncovered wether or not this was true or false. What people do not know though, is that he lived past his expiration date, as a spirit bound to the very jewel he wore in the last of his days, giving way to the rumor of the vengeful spirit roaming the halls of the Valkan Citadel and the so-called Nargath curse.
