DESCRIPTION
Centuries past, Arctrus' survey fleets delved into the Unknown Regions in search of profit, cataloguing a remote system and settling the shores of the world that would one day come to be known as Erakhis, later beginning construction of what would one day become the Polar Shipyards of Khiriv Minor. Much has changed over the centuries, but Arctrus persists, if in a different form.

From its home at the edges of the Unknown Regions, Arctrus has turned its gaze towards the Core and the most distant reaches of the galaxy alike, churning out fleets both military and civilian for the ever-hungry galactic market while simultaneously funnelling the profits into ever more ambitions exploration missions - for there is great wealth in the unknown, and Arctrus is determined to stake its claim.

RATIONALE
Built upon a foundation of bold exploration, the isolation of the Four Hundred Year Darkness slowly strangled what had once been a financial powerhouse until only a faded jewel remained, held up by state subsidies and military contracts.

Slowly buying out the company's weakened stocks, Erkhin Trivohld began the process of rebuilding the once-pride of Erakhis, expending the wild profits of the post-Plague medical sector to rebuild the company's tattered exploration fleet and levying TriTech's droidbuilding expertise to create near-autonomous vessels, perfect for the uncertainty of the time.

Once more given access to the galactic market, Arctrus has spent the last few decades rebuilding its shipbuilding capacity, sending its wares along the Blood Trail while simultaneously expending vast resources searching for more convenient routes to the Core.
