DESCRIPTION
The Ardent-Class Interceptor Corvette is a bleeding-edge design, tailored for fast-response operations in border territories and contested sectors of the Risen Empire. Built for speed, precision, and hit-and-fade tactics, the Ardent-Class sacrifices heavy armor for thrust, agility, and fire control accuracy.

Its long, slender hull features an aerodynamic, angular design with deeply embedded systems to minimize profile. Twin forward-mounted ion cannons serve to disable engine systems, while concussion missiles provide the knockout punch.

Although lightly defended, the vessel excels in interdiction-breaking, counter-piracy missions, and surprise assault operations. Most Ardent-Class ships are deployed with elite crews or automated co-pilot systems due to the high skill required to operate its maneuvering thrusters and navigation systems effectively.

Despite its narrow tactical niche, the Ardent-Class has earned the reputation of being a relentless pursuer—nicknamed "The Fang" by smugglers and rebel fleets alike.
