The Iron Heart
So I'm sure some of you are knowledgeable on the Old Man Logan and Old Man Hawkeye storylines that Marvel is doing. You'll probably also know that they are relatively popular. A wider assortment of you are probably even more familiar with the hit movie Logan which is loosely (very) based on the OM Logan series.
Now, I love the trope Dented Iron when it is used in stories. Dented Iron is essentially Batman removing his top (props to Christina Bale) during The Dark Knight and we see the amount of bruises and scars. While an early version, it is still Dented Iron. What I'm interested in is the older version of characters who, for whatever reason, are still in the game when logic says they should have either died or retired long ago.
Think Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns. Batman can't seem to die a "good death" no matter how hard he tries.
While quite a few characters are already living their dented iron trope through the passing of time. I was wondering if we could make individual threads that are self contained and 102% non canon that following the save vein as Old Man Logan. Someone majorly messes the world (or galaxy) up and there is a massive body count. Because of this I don't expect there to be much in the way of official Chaos factions save the occasional reference or remnant.
Naturally these threads can't be even close to as violent and graphic as Old Man or Punisher MAX (essentially his version of Old Man) but we can get the same feeling of death seeking and dented iron through story telling and scene laying.
