Are force activation lightsabers possible

I been thinking of making a lightsaber that has a force activation as one of it`s special features but I unsure if your allowed it or not.

[member="Medru"] Absolutely - you'd create a switch that exists only inside the casing, rather than on the outside, and use Telekinesis to activate or deactivate the weapon. It's perfectly possible, and a fairly logical precaution, too, I might add.

Yes, force-activated lightsabers exist in canon and involve totally removing the activation switch from the hilt. You are more than free to utilize this for your own lightsaber.

It certainly is and they do exist in various materials. I believe the Jedi Path mentions them as a lightsaber variant.
