- Boom! Headshot! If the head area is destroyed, the entire walker will be rendered inoperable.
- Straight through the scope: If the scope is destroyed the targeting computer will be rendered inoperable
While in the war frame, a HUD will appear in order to better allow the pilot to drive the vehicle. While a single man can operate a Ares without too much trouble, the War-frames operate best with a gunner alongside the pilot. The downside to this is that if the pilot dies, the gunner will be rendered immobile until the back up pilot can obtain control. The pilot is based where the brain would be.
