Strengths:
Strategist: After twelve years of interim expansionary defense experience his ability of Naval warfare had been trained in the efficient use of all assets when low on supply or support.
Martial Art: The Chiss captain had learned only so much from the academy as far as fighting with fist or baton. His own desire to learn the warrior cultures of others drives him to practice many forms of thinking when maintaining physical fitness.
Deduction and Perception: Ares may be slow to act in some moments, however, when an action does take place he has analyzed every corner of the problem in order to solve it.
Weaknesses:
Lack of Political Power: Ares does not come from a prestiged background so has little to do when in the politicosphere.
Safe not sorry: Ares doesn't like to risk too much leading to missed opportunities and over protection.
The desire for more: While wishing the safest name for his family, Ares had always hoped for an escape to have a more open exploration of the known galaxy.

BIOGRAPHY: Ares was born on Csilla to a family of enlistees. His father has served as a crewman aboard the central defense task force and rose to the rank of Warrant Officer eventually gaining the adoption and introduction of his own family lineage to the house of Mitth. Ares graduated in the top 20% of his schooling on Csilla and was able to apply for commissions in the footsteps of his father. However, due to the outstanding performance of those before him within his line, Ares was able to take an officer's rank and the heightened social status of such a position within society.
Ares served many missions and garnered himself to be a competent and safe bet for the military however his social status had not been once to press. He kept his head under the radar aiming only to focus on protection and optimization of his task force and their planets. His pleasing and un-offensive political nature allowed for a fairly rapid promotion through the ranks. However, the man had come to realize this was not for his own efforts but in order to maneuver him out of positions of high prestige. Ares had been assigned to the most outwards protection of the fleet and bordered the known regions of Core world factions. This had however led to a stagnation in career prospects. He understood that with his rise and rank that he had been thrown out towards the danger of the galaxy as to avoid any chance of interfering with the nobilities promotions to admiralty or their incompetence.
Within the recent restructuring of the Ascendency Ares had maintained his sector of space even seeing off the great war just as he had seen off the Plague and Sith that had come before. Ares had grown to appreciate the new way of workings within the Ascendency if not showing much outward support. At the end of all of it, he knows his place and that from a line of Enlistedmen and Women that just to serve a long and decorated career as a captain was enough to further his family name in good vision. However, his own interest always holds a grasp to the outside.
After his growing dislike for the inactivity and failure of the Chiss ascendency to take fate in their hands and of his lack of continuation forward into society he took his loyal ship and crew and defecting to the growing military fleet of the Commonwealth of Systems eventually leading to his position of Lord Admiral within their leaders.
