Argha of Domain Shai

Age27
SpeciesYuuzhan Vong
GenderMale
Height5’11”/180cm
Weight225 lbs/102kg
Force SensitiveNo

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Argha is, for a Yuuzhan Vong, not particularly unusual. Though he bears more peculiar eyes, such occurrences are not unheard of. Otherwise, he holds mostly to expected physical bearings. A body built for combat, yellowish skin, longer and pointier ears than most, and grey eyes.

Where Argha does differ from historical records of the race, is his methods of cultural expression. Historically most Yuuzhan Vong altered their bodies with significant scarring. Argha, while he possesses some ritual or natural gained scars, has much expressed instead through tattooing.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
TBA

  • +Warriors physique: Argha possesses incredible speed, even for a Yuuzhang Vong warrior, along with their traditional strength, and endurance. Argha specializes in melee combat, and has grown especially adept at adapting to opponents strengths. He also has grown a particular focus in how to fight or kill force users, studying their combat styles, reflexes, enhancements, and powers, to try and handle himself more effectively against them.

+Combat specializations: Argha’s greatest feats are at melee range, primarily with unarmed or yuuzhang vong weaponry though he handles standard weapons very well, or at very distant ranges. Sniper weaponry is a technology that he has come to understand exceedingly well, and is the only tech he truly has mastered, with only a second exception, explosives. Argha has a remarkable understanding of the pieces and parts involved in most forms of explosives, especially those of chemical origin.

+Yuuzhang Vong anatomy permits a wide range of advantages, including considerable resistance to stun weapons, hefty physical endurance, harder skin, and easy integration with bio-tech.

+Force Absence: As natural to a Yuuzhan Vong, he is either completely devoid of the force, or at the very least on a different spectrum of the force to this galaxy’s force sensitives. Yuuzhang Vong are unable to be directly influenced with the force, as well as being essentially invisible to it. Making them far harder for force sensitives to predict, attack, or even realize is there. There’s even seemingly some resilience to energy expulsions of the force such as force blasts/pushs, but this is not total immunity.

+Pain: Argha’s extremely familiar with the experience and providing of pain. As a result, it is of little hindrance in a fight, and he is nigh impossible to persuade via physical means that prey on weak will or physical pain.

+Pilot: Due to the requirement of secrecy, Argha is rarely able to take someone elses transports. As a result he had to learn to fly himself. In this regard he's learned well, though he's not necessarily an ace pilot with either Yuuzhan Vong nor Traditional ships yet. And understand vehicles even less.

    Enhancements/alterations:
    Fighting Claws

    - Link to Weaknesses

  • Invisible, not undetectable: While a Yuuzhang Vong cannot be perceived directly with the force, an aware force user may still recognize them if they see them as lacking a presence in the force. Thus realizing they are likely not what they appear to be.

Still catching up: While Argha himself actually has a lot of fondness for new technology despite his species's past history, there is still a lot of tech he’s less familiar with. And his experience is often restricted to the task he’s set for. Much of their medical tech past very standard med-kits is also often a struggle.

Like a sore thumb: If not wearing an ooglith masker or other method of completely hiding his features, he would stand out immediately. Even the eyes are unusual in his case when not covered by a masquer or other means.

Mid-range: Argha prefers sheer focusing on individual aspects of combat. At close range, he can put everything into a very physical art. At long range, it’s almost all prediction and mathematics. At mid-range he has to mix them up, thud-bugs or explosives can make up for this to some degree, as well as familiarity with Yuuzhan Vong weaponry, but as Argha is often disguised as another race, he has to revert to more common weaponry he is less competent with.

    - Link to History

  • HISTORY
Argha of Domain Shai is a member of a very small isolated clan that went underground long ago, fearing for the total eradication of their kind they disobeyed orders, feigned destruction, and dug, in a literal sense, deep underground. At various times throughout history they attempted return, otherwise preferring to keep tabs on the galaxy at large. However, having already disobeyed tradition once, more disobediences grew over time. Scarring may instead be tattoos or grafting with other skins, the hatred of non-yuuzhan vong grew steadily less emphatic, especially as on occasion there was necessity of a wider-gene pool. The yuuzhan vong were still the dominant factors, but were no longer pure to either blood nor culture. Their shaping became limited, with only one master at the time, they struggled to teach the students enough to properly continue forming consistently. Forming ships was almost entirely impossible due to stressed resources, and very little safe way to use one. As time went on, they were forced to adopt more of the infidel technology, accepting that such a thing was impossible to avoid.

Another vital factor, was the deception sects power. Warriors could not indulge themselves, and so grew less aggressive, shapers were few, and were forced to spend more time keeping their underground world functioning well enough, but also hidden. The deception sect however guided the entire activity, they had to keep the warriors from being blatant, and convince the shapers to disguise their works as part of either the worlds natural states, or as an outsiders actions.

Argha came from Domain Shai, though domains too had grown less distinct. He took to the concepts of the deceit of the outsiders easily enough, in large part, because Argha saw beauty in nearly everything. He saw it as much in his own people and culture, as he did in the strange aliens and technology of beyond. He however was also burdened by a hatred that ran deep, a disgust of the jedi, and all force users. They perverted the galaxy more than any technology that his ancestors may have hated ever could. For them, death was not always death, and life was not always life. And regardless of what they may think on technology or co-existence now, the jedi were the reason the Yuuzhan Vong did not conquer this galaxy. And their kind would not be forgiven.

Argha would go onto study and prepare appropriately, taking one on in one to one combat had to be something he was prepared for, but, so was the fact that jedi were some of the most dangerous beings in the galaxy. And he had to account for that too, sabotage and traps were acceptable methods, if less honorable. But jedi claimed to have precognitive powers, and used resources beyond training or modification. He would act accordingly, they deserved no honorable death. They only deserved death itself.
