Named Arguunite crystals after being found in the Argussian Iredani homeland, these naturally occuring crystals are abundant on the Iredani homeworld of Areanor. About 95% of the deposits are found underground in caves that are brimmed with them. These Arguunite crystals are filled with a natural energy source. Unlike Kyber Crystals which many believed that Kyber crystals had a degeree of sentience within them, Arguunite crystals held no such mysteries. But similar to Kyber crystals, Arguunite crystals can be used to power up virtually anything. Soon the technology of the Iredani leapt forward drastically. While many of them still preferred their fedual ways, Arguunite crystals opened up the path to the stars for the Iredani.
Experiments with Arguunite crystals eventually led to the discovery of an enhanced form of Arguunite crystals. Enhanced Arguunite crystals were yellow and produced a far greater yield of power and acted as a greater conduit for energy weapons. Arguunite crystals are so far only found on the Iredani homeworld.

- Purple Velen crystals are natural are abundant on the Iredani homeworld. However gold yellow Velen crystals are synthesized and tempered to a higher state to give them better properties.
- Can either be used as a power source or as a conduit for energy weapons
- Velen crystals when charged or powering anything, project a shield around it. The larger the crystal, the more stronger and powerful the shield is.
- Yellow Velen Crystals have much more durable shields
- Power can last indefinetly
- When a crystal is destroyed it has a chance of exploding. Larger the crystal the higher chance of exploding upon destruction it has.
- Highly fragile to handle
- If a crystal is cracked it cant be wielded together, it has to be entirely replaced
- Incompatible with alot of Galactic Standard technology.
