- Ultrachrome: The heavy use of Ultrachrome allows the weapon to reflect back at a target blaster bolts and slugs. It is also able to block lightsabers.
- Destructive: The massive weight of the sword, mixed with the mono molecular edge, and vibration gives it a massive punch that can cut through almost anything, and giving it a mixture of cutting and kinetic damage. To add further, the directed repulsor fields activate in the direction the sword hits, creating intense gravitation fields. If that wasn't enough, in the direction of whatever the sword hits the shockwave generator activates, blasting the target with an intense sonic field designed to break through rock and many forms of armor.
- Shield Ignoring: The weapon has a built-in individual field disruptor. It allows it to swing through many forms of deflector shields. The field can be extended to cover the entire user.
- Momentum: Using the same principle as a maser, the sword's momentum can be partially imparted into a lightsaber. For those unused to the feeling, or taken surprised, it has the potential to knock the lightsaber from their hands.
- The Force: The use of a wild force shard allows the user to greater exert the force. The matrix within the sword connected to it also allows the easy use of Force Weapon on the sword.
- Not eternally resistant: The Ultrachrome allows the weapon to block lightsabers and lightening, however, this isn't for long extended engagements. It needs time to cool down and can't be used for hours on end in the battlefield. If it takes enough damage over a long enough period of time the ultrachrome can be damaged.
- Heavy: It is a very heavy sword. It takes great physical strength to be able to swing around. A normal human would be unable to use it well, if at all.
- Two handed: It requires two hands to use, always.
- Lethal: This weapon does not have a stun setting, it will kill and maim, and was designed to do nothing less.
- Not a lightsaber: It isn't a lightsaber. It's weight and movement mean that established lightsaber forms are meaningless when using it, and its movements will never be as sharp or precise as one.
An aesthetically simple blade, Arjan's sword is an extension of his will. Having rejected traditional lightsabers, it is his symbol of the holy Crusade. The weapon has a 2.524 meter long broad blade. In the very center is a small core of neuranium. This gives it the weight and heft it needs to be able to smash through armor and knock people off their feet. Next is a body built mostly of reinforced duraplast, giving it a solid and sturdy body that can take a large amount of damage. Into this layer the wiring and circuits for its repulsor generator, field disruptor, and shockwave generator is laid.
The outer shell is a thick layer of ultrachrome, to give the sword the capacity to block lightsabers, ground lightning, reflect blaster bolts and slugs back at their firers or at another target, along with making the outside of the weapon incredibly strong. The hilt of the sword is long, giving it enough space to be properly used as a two-handed weapon. In the hilt is a wild force shard, and a matrix that helps the blade be equipped with force weapon.
When it hits, the weight, the mono molecular edge, and powerful vibro-generator allows it to cut through most substances. With a flick of a switch with each hit a strong gravitational field can be emitted from the directional repulsor generators, and a bone shattering shockwave is created from the shockwave generator. Altogether, it can batter and smash even heavily armored opponents who are immune to traditional lightsabers. To go after even the most heavily defended opponents, the sword even has an individual field disruptor equipped, which allows it to slice through personal shields like butter or envelop the user in a field to pass through shields so that none can escape the Will of Ashla.
Finally, the hilt is wrapped in durable tikulini leather for comfort, and to create a no slip grip. Altogether, the sword is very well balanced, so that even though it is heavy and large, for someone with the right amount of physical strength it could be used relatively easily and with great effect.
