- Lord of Hunger [ Credius Nargath ]
- Sith Order
- Classification: Droid Infantry w. mobile infantry
- Description: A medium sized infantry division or cohort with the clear goal of pacifying hostile urban territories and to keep the peace within controlled urban territories, maximizing efficiency over sheer numbers.
- Unit Size: Medium
- Unit Availability: Uncommon
- Unit Experience: Veteran
- Equipment:
- Combat Function: Where the standard tactics of the droid legions is almost purely in its overwhelming numbers, the Urban Enforcement Cohorts rely more heavily on using much more modern droids and weaponry outfitted with programming more suitable for efficiency in the urban jungle as it were, with better maneuvrability of not just the main staple droids, but also with greater emphasis on surveillance, maneuvrability and higher individual capacity. The Urban Enforcement Cohorts will be more inclined to tactically surrounding hostiles, efficient breeches of hostile locations through coordinated attacks and the use of electronic warfare to maximize their own chances of success. Unlike the Droid Legions, the Urban Enforcement Cohorts will have sentients either being part of the actual peacekeeping force or in charge of overall logistics.
- Force Abilities (Force User Units Only): N/A
- Efficiency: The Urban Enforcement Cohorts are one of the most efficient units within the Armada Gluttoneria, focusing heavily on probability control, sound tactics and utilizing all options to successfully complete their mission both during peace and in war.
- Professionals: The Cohorts are more comparable to professional army soldiers, displaying the same comprehension on tactics, strategy and oversight as seasoned veterans of any military, making them much more effective in executing commands, but also with just broad outlines rather than strict, full-detail briefs.
- Larger Thinking Capacity: Due to being mainly existing out of more modern droids and a small number of sentient beings in logistics or command, the Urban Enforcement Cohorts are much more coherent in their actions and are more capable of thinking out of the box and complex interpretation of orders and problemsolving when trying to complete said orders.
- Unfeeling droids: While droids are considered to be extremely logical and reliable, their unfeeling nature would usually tend them to be perceived as extremely ruthless, a trait perhaps useful during wartime, but which can brew resentment during peacetime.
- Task Complexity: While they are capable of completing tasks on a higher level compared to the standard droid legions, the fact that the majority of the cohorts don't have sentient beings to put some element of adaptability on the fly into them, these cohorts are less efficient when a task consists out of a larger facetted array of missions and objectives.
With the advent of the Droid Legions, the Lord of Hunger quickly realized that bringing the fight to urban areas would put the droid legions which rely mainly on numbers and heavy firepower on the backfoot, given that they would not be able to cope with guerilla tactics and close quarter ambushes. For this reason, Credius started to divert large numbers of much newer droid models from the N&Z into his ranks, but also updated the protocols for these droid models to make them a bit less individualistic and avoid the AI's to run amok.
First deployed during the cleansing of Pergitor, the Urban Enforcement Cohorts would be capable of taking a large city in a matter of hours thanks to the greater efficiency of the newer and more modern droid models and the fact that sentients such as humans would be put into key positions within the cohort such as logistics and oversight to improve the cohorts' chances when faced with the adaptability and ecclectic tactics generally used by partizans or elite soldiers.
